They used to back on the ps2 and Xbox versions. When you tried to hot route the WR the WR would be shaking his head “No” while pointing to the ear hole on his helmet signaling the QB that he can’t hear him. It’s small thing like this makes a game that much immersive.

The crowd noise wouldn’t really impact you much while playing the game. But the effects of crowd noise (bad communication on offense, more penalties, more likely to make mistakes) will all be present.

Music was added by the poster of the video. NCAA didn’t have it playing up until the snap due to the fact it’s against the rules. While Mo Bamba is in the game and is played over the stadium speakers, it’s not played up until the snap just like it wasn’t played until the snap in the real life game.

I mean how much will certain games matter anymore with a 12 team playoff when teams can afford to lose games now. It won’t be CFB anymore. That game mattered so much to both teams. If Michigan loses after having a loss already they were out but if they win they are still alive, if Penn state lost being undefeated it would hurt them a ton not only cause that loss could be their season but it was to a team in the same side of the conference Michigan while being at home. People will understand what made CFB special with the BCS and 4 team after the first season of a 12 team playoff because it will show how much a 12 team playoff makes CFB into something completely different. Remember with a 12 team playoff Michigan and OSU could play three times in the span of a month. The Game, then the BIG 10 championship game if the best two teams in the BIG 10 and then in a playoff game. So then it makes the first two games almost meaningless and makes The Game meaningless . Then controversy will arise if let’s say Michigan wins in the Game and the BIG 10 championship but OSU still finds their way into the playoffs to then play Michigan for a third time and beats them.

The game would more than likely knock the loser out of title contention as you would also have Oregon & USC in the conference now. As well as if other teams elsewhere have a better overall season than the loser of The Game, then now the loser of the game gets knocked out of playoff contention. As well as a team who wins their conference (mainly from the P4), are guaranteed a playoff spot. This would mean that if an upset occurs like it did when Kansas State beat undefeated TCU, then all of the sudden, Kansas State, despite being 9-3, are now in the playoffs because TCU failed to close the deal. Meaning games still matter, especially for the more 9-3 schools of the P4 as if they win their games, make the conference championship, and then pull an upset, then you have them in the playoffs and a possible Cinderella run. CFB has always been about the crazy games and upsets. The 12 team playoff format now opens the door for this to happen in more crazy ways than just the regular season.
