Cheer, cheer for Penn State for a great victory no matter how hard the Auburn (SEC) officials corrupted the game. The North wins again, right George G.Meade?
@@neptune-cs3gh I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think anyone who’s under the impression society will return to “the way it was” anytime within the near future isn’t living in reality. The Government has already stated numerous times that even after getting vaccinated you must still wear a mask and social distance. I’ve talked to many people who say they can’t see themselves attending a social event or being in a large crowd for years after this as well as keeping a mask on regardless of whether or not Covid goes away. The Government isn’t even trying to hide the fact that they know we will be in this current state for months or even years. Most people’s lives depending on where they live or what they enjoy doing aren’t generally affected by what’s going on, those like my father who’ve lost their job and/or business and have had their lives affected are mostly ignored by the media. The “new normal” isn’t just a phrase, it means exactly what it says. Society is being conditioned to accept this for what it is regardless of their opinion on it. We were already quickly becoming more distanced socially with the advent of smartphones and other technology, millennials and gen z are totally comfortable with living their lives through a screen. Again, I hope to God I’m wrong and we get back to normal sometime soon. I’m simply making a prediction based on what I’ve seen for what the future looks like.
This is one of the craziest games I've ever seen played at Penn State, coming from an Iowa fan. Michigan played their hides off despite this 110,000+ crowd and everything else.
skrxxet I was there for 2016 game vs OSU and the crowd after that timeout was just as loud, if not louder than that game. My ears were literally ringing
The Penn State Band practiced at our Mason area local high school the day before this game. It was such a treat to watch them all! Extremely talented, very disciplined and you could see they were all having a great time despite the change in where they would normally practice!!
One thing football movies never got right was the atmosphere of being on field with a stadium Packed with fans. Creed did it perfectly. Imma do it one day.
For real. The energy is unreal but you can’t really describe it to people who don’t play. I just finished my last year playing in high school and senior night was the loudest crowd I have ever had at one of my games. We blew out our cross city rivals and I got interviewed by the student newspaper and I was asked how I managed the noise as a QB. I tried to put into words how you both try to feed off the energy without overdoing it but it’s something you need to experience to understand
I'm a Michigan fan but I can't even imagine what it must've been like to be Michigan as they walked onto the field for their first drive. It's already so loud that it makes you forget the play clock is ticking and you need to get set. In come the flags. And then it gets even *louder*. And, since nothing's really happened yet, you just know it's going to get *even louder* than that. And you realize you're going to have to find a way to play through that the whole game long.
Best atmosphere in college football, had to privilege to be at many in the recent years, most memorable when Marcus Allen blocked the kick and we returned it for a touchdown to beat Ohio State. Never heard a stadium get so loud in my life, hugged some random old person next to me out of pure happiness. Great times.
That might of been me or my wife!! The wind was so bad and blowing freezing rain like ice pellets in our face!! Until......."And Grant Haley will SCORE!!!!" NOBODY felt the cold after that!! Everyone was soaked and iced until that happened. Jumping on their seats and screaming like crazy!!! We went back to our hotel after the field cleared, at about 2 or 3 in the morning ESPN aired the immediate re-play of the entire game and we stayed up past sun-up to watch it again on TV.
I got a chance to go to the 2018 white out as an away fan, and it was the most insane atmosphere I've ever been a part of. Definitely want to make a return visit
This is the BEST ever for a college football game. There is a truly electric feeling in this stadium like no other. And it’s not just the student section as the entire stadium is in white goes wild.
White out games are probably the most terrifying thing in the Big Ten right behind Kinnick at night. Having to call a timeout without a single play happening is insane!
Razorback fan here. Always liked penn state since I was a kid in the 80s, and they were an independent. Still my 2nd team. Go penn state. Awesome video. Wish I could experience this environment. Gotta put it on my bucket list.
Did you go yet?? You HAVE to. However cool this looks on RUclips, it’s that much more amazing in person. I think it should be on bucket lists even for non sports fan.
I remember Brandon Graham from Michigan saying that beaver stadium was the loudest place he ever played at! As an eagles fan I love that guy. Brought us a Super Bowl! Let’s go Eagles and let’s go PSU!
I’ve been going to Penn State games since I was only a few months old, and now I’m 15. I love my Nittany Lions, and especially White Outs!! If the season gets canceled due to COVID-19, I might die because football is my lifeeeeee!!!!!!!!
Been to LSU for games, nothing like THE White Out, but I was told to come back when you play Bama at night. I'm sure that's a scream fest too!! I will say that Urban Meyer said he's been in all the stadiums in Big10 and SEC and hates the White Out, he says its the most craziest atmosphere he's ever endured. To think he almost became Joe's replacement?!!! There is one other CFB crowd scream/cheer that I will remember....it was the Michigan vs Appalachian State game..... all the students left early in the 4th and then much of the rest of the stadium filed out too! We wondered what he hell was going on and how despicable to leave before the game was over!!! My wife is a football fanatic! We were playing FIU on first game of season, beautiful sunny day in Happy Valley....then go into the concourse and it's PACKED!! Everyone is watching the monitors of App St upsetting #5 Michigan!!! RUclips videos of stadiums and schools across the Big 10 showed the same thing happening. It's like an entire conference was cheering on APP St to knock off Michigan!!!
Watching in disbelief at the stadium numbers here in the uk. Some serious money in college sports. We have professional soccer teams that can’t get 10,000 supporters 😱
Imagine they announce the return of College football games, you get to the main menu, A to start load in and you run out the tunnel in a white out jersey, you run the first snap against Ohio State and get a sack and the crowd just explodes. Makes me miss NCAA games and what they can do now with the technology
This is fucking awsome!!!! That camera angle too when the doing the kickoff and lion king comes on🤣i couldn't play under that kind of excitement and pressure..i would have charlie browned it 😂
All the Europeans are comparing their pro football teams to this college team's fans😂😂. Why don't you compare your amateur teams to do this? Oh yeah because it doesn't come close.
I don't know about that....I've met people from UK and Ireland that came to a White Out just to experience it. They are European "football (soccer) fans. Everyone was blown away too!!! (Advice : Do NOT ever get into doing shots with a true Irishman (or his wife either!), They are whatcha call "professionals"!!!!
I just had my first child , a girl , better sweet feeling, I'm gonna try for a boy pretty soon 😅😅 i need a football player in my life to show him everything i know and hope and pray i can bring him to college level one day
Game attendance thus far: Georgia, over 20,000 per game. Penn State, Zero. University Park needs to change. Before Ohio State comes to town. Georgia, please help!!!
Wavy Bone Penn state fans never defended Sandusky. They defended joe because he got caught in the middle of a bad situation. He didn’t handle it the best he could but he never was in favor of the molestation.

As a PSU student, I get goosebumps every time I watch this. It’s awesome seeing it from this perspective!!!
Patricio De La garza martinez obviously new to football I see
This is one of the craziest games I've ever seen played at Penn State, coming from an Iowa fan. Michigan played their hides off despite this 110,000+ crowd and everything else.
@Patricio De La garza martinez I'm surprised they weren't all bleating like sheep.
LSU fan here and hearing the crowd go wild to Mo Bamba gives me chills

Anyone here in quarantine thinking about the good old times with no social distancing
It will come back, wait for it, its going to be great... interesting times ahead. biblical actually...

I can't be the only one watching and thinking how crazy it is that humanity is capable of creating such an awesome spectacle
We’re an amazing species when we work together and don’t kill one another.

As a Penn State fan I remember this game although we almost choked in the second half.
New PSU Stuednt here. Cant wait this year's white out game against Iowa.
This was during my freshman year and I worked parking starting at 5 am just to get a free ticket to the game. It was definitely worth it
I admire your dedication to Mighty Penn State!
this has gotta be one of the most intimidating atmospheres in sports
This brings tears into my eyes watching this in 2021, hopefully by 2023 we will have 107,000+ strong.
Beaver Stadium came to life that night. It was a good day
I was there that game. A fan all my life but my first Penn State game I ever attended. A night I'll never forget

Does anyone know where to find the video that plays before each game with the black shoes basic blues etc.
Whats that song where they go like uh oh oh uh oh oh oh? And they play it in nail biting moments
