What a great video! You are so well spoken, and you allow plenty of screen time when holding up the patterns so we can enjoy them! Looking forward to more videos!
Thank you - it’s really exciting. I love watching flosstube, and trying new things. The history behind samplers is intriguing-I’m excited to start the journey
Check out the last Stitching with the Sarahs flosstube, they are both doing Botanical Bee, but one is doing 1 over 2 and the other is doing 2 over 2 and you can really see the difference when they hold it up side by side
Welcome to the cross stitch community and floss tube! Everyone started somewhere. I stitched in the 70's & 80's then put it aside when I learned to sew garments, quilts etc. But I have to tell you the WE (KC Chiefs that is) have the BEST Kelce brother! LOL Yes, I'm a HUGE Chiefs fan! Again, welcome to the community!
OMG I absolutely LOVE your 🍓 shortcake bag 😊 I have some of that fabric, and I sew, now I just need to get it together and make a bag. Can't wait to follow along with your progress, your excitement for cross stitch just shines through. Definitely going to look into the magnifier, I've been looking for something and that logs like it will be perfect. Thank you for the recommendation and the video. Also, stitching and collecting are two separate hobbies, they just happen to go hand in hand lol Happy Stitching -Kimberly
Enjoyed your video! I’m a paper girl too, can’t break the habit after stitching for almost fifty years. I’m just simple like that. Can’t wait to see more of your stitching!
Great first video! You are a natural in front of a camera! Looking forward to following your journey as you gain more confidence in your stitching. I am a long-time stitcher and I learn new things all the time. Did you mention your name or did I miss that?
Thank you so much; I look forward to building my stitchy skills. Please feel free to give me feedback along the way. My name is Rochelle - my RUclips is BlingItUp.
I just found your flosstube. Absolutely love your enthusiasm. Always remember never I mean NEVER let any project intimidate you!! I have let that happen and when I finally did start it I was like this isn't hard why did I wait so long. I am also stitching jingle bell Cafe. I'm almost finished with it. I started it last December. If you're interested in a fabric of the month I recommend Grace Notes Fabrics. They're also in Pennsylvania and Ms. Corrin is awesome. You will not be disappointed!! I am a qsnap girl but I wish I could stitch in hand so if that's your favorite way I think that's awesome!! Plum Street Samplers are one of my favorites along with teresa kogut. Keep making videos I just gotta see your finishes.
Thank you so much - my days are so packed - I’m looking forward to slowing down so I can stitch - Summer is a busy time. Thanks for watching - more to come.
Love your floss tube and your wipes. Note if you put screws on your hoops at 10 o’clock they will be out of the way and your floss will not get caught on them. If you are left handed put it at 2 o’clock,
Thanks for stopping by, basketball is our life - my husband has 4 teams and the players work hard. My son and daughter also work hard. I always say Hard Work pays Off!!!.
Enjoyed your first floss tube, look forward to watching your journey. I've been stitching for many years and there is always new things to learn, so it really is a journey for all of us. For how to this or that and finishing inspiration I highly recommend two floss tubers: The Twisted Sister (Vonna Pheiffer) and Javagirl Stitches - both awesome!
I stopped cross stitching for about a year and am just now getting back into it. I like to research everything first, and a paper girl, too! I really enjoyed your video! 😊. I’m looking forward to your next one.
That was fun!! Welcome to the world of cross stitch! You are well on your way to years of learning, making new friends, and acquiring a relaxing hobby. I had to laugh 🤣 you must be close to my daughter’s age because she absolutely loved Strawberry Shortcake and Tweety! I’m making her a tshirt quilt for Christmas with all her old Tweety shirts 👍 I stitch in hand only and I purchased 4.0 readers and don’t need a magnifying light anymore, and I’m going to be 65 this month. Have fun and I look forward to following your journey ❤
That is awesome - 4.0 readers,no magnifier that is awesome. I like stitching in hand. I’m stitching on 28ct - thank u for the magnification. Happy Birthday - and I do love SS and tweety.
I just found your video while stitching and watching flosstube. I absolutely love your energy and enthusiasm. I'm so excited you've joined this amazing hobby. Im a cross stitcher who has just recently started to collect diamond paintings, but i haven't finished one yet. I look forward to your future videos!
I’m glad you found me, I’m new to Cross Stitch and love it. I’m looking forward to sharing and learning from the Cross Stitch community. Diamond painting is fun and addictive - just like Cross Stitch.
Welcome to cross stitch! Like you I love Christmas charts, stitch in hand but I have been stitching over thirty years. I am learning all the time and that is what keeps my soul fed. I also crochet and quilt occasionally.
Really enjoyed your flosstube! The spool huggers are used to contain the extra fabric when you are stitching in a hoop or qsnap. I haven’t tried them yet but my sister uses them and likes them. Just roll up the extra fabric and secure it to your hoop/qsnap with the spool hugger. It keeps the fabric out of the way when you are stitching. Really looking forward to following your journey into cross stitch!
Love love love your first floss tube and I love your enthusiasm for the craft. I’ve been stitching since 2019 and LOL, stitching with the housewives got me started 😂
Lady! Your excitement looking thru the sampler book is so genuine! It made me smile, I'm so happy for u! A red sampler will be a great intro into linen. Even if it's big, do a count you can be comfortable with. With your love of blue, have you seen blue ones. Divine! Thank you for sharing your love and happiness in this wonderful art
Thank you so much, I’m so ready - and yes - I can’t wait to show everyone the Blue Sampler. I just purchased one, I love it. I’m going to take your advice and do a small blue sampler.
New subscriber, love your enthusiasm and logic when it comes to the progression of the experience it takes to get to the big projects. Wish I had had your wisdom when I started out! Your stitching is great, love your current projects and future to dos. Will look forward to following your journey. 🪡🧵☮️🌷
Thank you, I really love the samplers and big projects - but I figured I would build my knowledge and skill before I dive right in. I love watching others Cross Stitch; Nikola Parkman (Hands across the Sea) mentioned she is going to offer a tutorial on her channel (I’m not sure when) to teach speciality stitches. I’m definitely going to watch her tutorials. Her stitching is amazing. Thanks for watching, stay tuned for more videos.
Thank you for doing a show everyday and sharing your Art/Love for Cross Stitch. You are an inspiration - never stop- I love your content. So glad we were paired together by Rebecca and Miki for the Mystery DP event - a few years back.
Just found you today! I'm so impressed that you are a beginner and already dye your own fabric and stitch in hand. I started last year on 14 count and am now on 32 count linen and love it. I want to stitch Humming of the Bees next year too. Your bee stitch would also look gorgeous on your dyed fabric you did yourself. Is that a diamond painting behind you?
Thanks for watching - I m having so much fun with Cross Stitch, I’m working on Miss Liberty (28ct) and getting ready to start a sampler on 32ct. I took my botanical bee to a retreat and can’t find it - - most likely it’s packed with all the Retreat goodies, I still need to unpack. I love Humming of the Bees - on my list for 2025. So many great patterns it’s hard to choose.

Hello! New subscriber here! I really enjoyed your video and your enthusiasm for cross stitch! Your magnifier - is it beveled or a flat glass? I'm looking for a flat glass because I have prisms in my glasses I require to be able to do anything! Lol! The prisms in these glasses and if also in a magnifier throw my vision off and i make a million mistakes! That is why i am wondering! i have not yet gone to the link, but i have found that most companies never tell us if the magnifier glass is beveled or flat! I'm stuck at a loss....so I'm hoping you can tell us, please! Thank you! I'm looking forward to your next video!
What a great video! You are so well spoken, and you allow plenty of screen time when holding up the patterns so we can enjoy them! Looking forward to more videos!
