      I'm think about doing videos for reading a written pattern and reading a diagram as well, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet haha!

    I made this a few days ago and it turned out great. Next time though I'm going to try it with a larger hook because it turned out very dense and a little stiff. I'd never done letters in bobbles before so now I see a lot of them in my future. Thanks

    • @CraftywithAshy
      @CraftywithAshy  Год назад

      You're welcome! I love messing around with hook size for projects. It's fun how different it can make it.
      The bobble letters are a great way to personalize things! 😁

      @@CraftywithAshy Thank you. My only concern is the one you mentioned...that my larger hook may make the bobbles too loose and not as defined

    • @CraftywithAshy
      @CraftywithAshy  Год назад

      @@justagramma if you find that happening, you could try to do extra yarn overs to make the bobbles larger. I don't know for sure that it would help, but I feel like it should.

    • @justagramma
      @justagramma Год назад

      @@CraftywithAshy I think you're right about that. I'm going to try it and see how it works and if the bobbles need to be tighter I'll try the extra stitches and let you know how it worked

    I love the pattern but the fuzzy yarn makes it hard to see what you're doing and you need to have your camera view a little closer. I especially had a hard time seeing where you put the stitches in the rows after the bobbles. Still it's a great video and I appreciate you sharing it

    Row 34 there is a mistake on the count of single after the last BO then it says sc 19 but its only 13 so you might want to fix that. Thankfully I was able to figure it out from the graph bc I just counted on that to see where the problem was and just fixed it on my end. The pattern is awesome and I love it. I really need to find a program that I can use to make up one of these patterns with my kids names so I can make each one of them a blanket with their names. Thanks for making a smaller version of a bigger blanket for the practice

      Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate it! and I'm glad you liked the pattern! :D I'd love to see a picture of your blanket!
      It is really low-tech, but I initially just used graph paper to make this pattern, then switched it to a digital format for my post. If you want to make your own with different words/names, I recommend using graph paper and just putting dots for the bobbles. It was the easiest way for me to figure it out. :)
      (if you do it I'd love to see a picture of that one too!!)

    • @CraftywithAshy

      definitely!
      The easiest way to do it is to get graph paper and put dots where you would want to put the bobbles.
      If you go to the blog post and download the graph pattern, you would be able to base your pattern off of that.
