So Amanda is not deaf. She can wear a hearing aid that is great. I have profound hearing loss and hearing aids dont work for me anymore. In fact i get no response in both ears starting out around 1-1500 Hz and beyond. Good that she can use hearing aids still

Dear Mary, we are sorry to hear that. We are proud supporters of the Hear The World Foundation, an initiative by the Sonova Group, which supports aid projects benefiting people with hearing loss worldwide. We also suggest you to contact your hearing care professional to enquire about the funding options available to you locally. Regards, Unitron.

Since I became conscious of the world around me, I realized I could only hear from one ear. I didn’t tell anyone due to the fear of being labeled as deaf. In normal conditions, I can hear fine, but in noisy environments or crowds, I can't hear anything from my right side where my hearing is absent. I haven’t shared this with my family, and I often wonder why doctors didn’t inform my parents about it when I was born. Until the age of 13, I thought it was normal to hear from only one ear. Now, I feel confused and unsure of what to do about this situation.

Oh, so it’s just another ad of hearing devices. That’s bullshit. Hearing devices can increase your ability to hear just in 5-10%. If she could’t hear kids as a teacher without hearing device, there is no way that with hearing device she can work as a teacher again. You are just a dream sellers.
