- I review Collins from @PaulaYoungWigs in SF 12/28, Honey.
We also take a look at 2 @outrewigs that are totally out of my comfort zone, or at lease, what I am used to buying from the medical wig sites. I bought them because I am on a quest to find wigs and toppers to match my natural, curly Mediterranean hair.

I think Mikaela looks so good because she is so close to what my natural hair was like. It’s amazing to think I once had such body and volume…but that was a long time ago. It was very special to look in the mirror and see those curls again, and a little sad too. I wonder what the really big fluffy one will look like, she’s called Solstice xxx

I have only come across you today and been watching you all evening and it's gone midnight!!! I want to get something for my hair as it has gotten so thin on the front and top....i can see my scalp..... it's horrible!.....i am 63yrs. I just love listening to you...your voice is similar to Felicity Kendall....i love how your eyes are really shining when you talk about your latest hairpiece that you can't wait to wear.

Oh how funny to think you’ve been watching so much of me! I’m pleased to have provided you with some inspiration. It’s awful when hair loss, particularly on top and at the front, gets past a certain point and you can’t disguise it anymore. Have you thought of toppers? Perhaps you already wear different pieces etc. I’m loving my toppers at the moment xx

These situations that arise in everyday life, I don't think I would have thought about them if it wasn't for your thoughts. It is really nice to be able to think ahead about them, just to be able to get the time needed to prepare and give oneself the chance to feel at best. ❤
Indeed! one must be prepared if you wear hair. And I have also come to the realisation that there are things that I will have to choose not to do if it means I can't wear hair when doing them..like camping for example. I can always decide to just have my ponytail though. xx

I actually really like that long wVy wig at the beginning it looks so natural..... like it's your own...only tongued.... You can easily pull that off... @Collins is a great wave pattern... Don't like that frizzy one at the end, hey! but that's just me... I too have my own sanctuary a spare room that is what I call my little girl room no men allowed ..... 🤣Ohb@im blonde and I wear red a lot...
Your sanctuary sounds wonderful. I love sitting at my dressing table messing around and letting my mind wonder. I bet you look amazing with your blonde hair and red clothing lol. I really MUST get a red dress. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how that frizzy one at the end looks like on. I must admit I will wear it clipped back xx

You know, I didn’t realize I can still wear my toppers since I shaved my head! It’s grown out to a short style, which I thought was too short for a topper! I’ll have to see how the clips hold.
You certainly can experiment and see how it looks. I have heard that you can wear a longer topper with shorter hair, I guess it depends on how large the base is and how much hair you have at the back, it shouldn't separate at the back. Good luck with it, and let me know how you find it xx

You look gorgeous in the Outre , and it looks like your own hair. Does not look like a wig. And the Collins is so glamorous and sassy. It too looks beautiful when you wear it. That second hand dress is lovely. I love thrift stores , as then I can save money to buy myself another wig. I also love the green dress and the earrings that you wore . Thank you for relating the humorous situation when Steve's friend stayed over at night !

That first wig looks like your real hair to me.
It really remind me of what my was like in my 20s. I wasn’t expecting it to turn out like that, the picture on the packaging looked quite different x
She looks lovely on you! I have had more misses than hits with Paula Young wigs. Have you noticed that the fibers feel very dry and crispy on yours? I don't know how else to describe it. Also they tangle horribly even brand new straight out of the box I can hardly run a wig brush or wide tooth comb through them. If I wanted to sport dry, frizzy, hair I wouldn't even need to wear a wig haha.
Really? How funny. I haven't had the problem of tangling as such BUT I do find that some styles tend to dry out pretty quickly...Heidi for example. I wore her a few times, very few, only to find the fibres dry and 'crispy' lol. What a shame xx
The curly one looks very natural and the colour suits you. I think you mentioned when removing the front clip from your Top Smart you were able to peel away the silicone square underneath, I tried a while ago and couldn't do it and ended up tearing a hole in the lace, luckily it's an old topper I never where anymore, is there a knack to it?
Mikaela is gorgeous isn't she? I did remove the silicone patch, I simply got hold of it on one corner and gently pulled it off up until where I notices one edge was sitting under the seem of the monotop and the lace front. I then got a pair of scissors and cut along that edge as close as I could. It really is much more smooth, soft and comfortable. Let me know how you do...and... lovely to hear from you xx
@@lifeandhair Thanks, that's what I did but it seems to be attached to the hair and as I pulled it the lace tore.

It is an Outre wig called Mikaela in chocolate swirl. I did a review about it, look in the videos, I think it was the following video to this one. She is very dramatic and I love her xx

I love both of these styles and Collins is so cute and fun! I sometimes think that shorter wavy styles are quite flirty and fun! 💖💖My safe place where I play with my hair is in my master bath and I dream of having a dressing room decorated in girly pinks and whites with plush furniture and a lovely vanity where I can sit and put on my makeup and play wit my hair! Someday I hope to have that! lol 💗💗🤗🤗 By the way, which hair did you wear to meet your house guest? I'm curious! 😊😊

I can really see you in a nice dressing room or beauty room, trying on your different styles and admiring them in the mirror. My dressing table is in my small bedroom and I have all my wigs in the cupboard by my bed but imagine how wonderful it would be to have a whole room devoted to dressing up and trying out new looks etc….mmmm.
I decided to wear Aida, my real hair topper - I wasn’t brave enough to wear Collins.
I think Collins is very glamorous, I must watch your reviews of her.

I have house guests frequently with my grandson's dad stopping over and my daughter and her boyfriend coming to visit on weekends. Sometimes it's unexpected and once or twice I've been caught without hair but I think everyone basically knows now about my wig wearing and wig obsession because they're hanging all over my bathroom! lol 😂😂 Have a lovely day! xoxo 😘😘
