Just got an S-Max - can I change the steering wheel control panel from kmh to mph? I can find no instructions for settings on this control panel anywhere.
There's a lot of people under 6' 6" and 187 lbs! Otherwise, we’d recommend reaching out to Segway-Ninebot, the manufacturer, at technicalsupport@segway.com. - Mikey😅
S Max has the strongets battery 435 (battery not interchangelble with other models) and the tires cant go flat MAJOR PLUS! But the slick 10.5 gocart race tires SUCK, if not being used witha a go cart. You have to buy 10.5 "COMFORT TIRES" but they are easy to put on and dont ever go flat. The handle bar sucks you also have to buy a knee controler. The best model is from 2015 the mini pro, it has a 310 battery , same interchangable. with the S 310 battery. the s plus 329 batteyr is bigger and soe are the 11 inch tires. YOU DONT WANT WHITE THEY GET FILTHY! Keep armoural wipes on hand. Dont clean with water.
It wouldn’t be a big issue, other than the fact that you may experience less speed and range on your device. If you’re still unsure, we’d recommend emailing Segway-Ninebot, the manufacturer, at technicalsupport@segway.com. - Mikey
How steep of an incline can the S-plus handle with a 187 pound rider? I’m thinking of getting one of these instead of trekking up the boat launch ramp.
Best to have while using on grass blocks / off road condition? I own an amusement park, and I have to cover long distances all day so I'm considering to buy one. But this is kind of off-road condition, mostly grass blocks and real grass/synthetic turf
Actually, there IS an option to use the Ninebot S Plus with a handle bar but It's a contraption from a third party company where you can secure the handle bar on the camera mount of the knee bar control column.
I have the third party handle and I can tell you that it will radically change your experience on the S-plus. You can go longer distances without any foot or knee fatigue. You will also have better balance and stability. I absolutely love that device!
Wow what a well made video... can you cover heights ?. Im 6 foot tall, would the s plus be comfortable for me to ride ? I wonder if the bar would seat too low for me to handle
Segway needs to update with S Plus with a knee pad that is adjustable in height and width. No one wants to keep their legs in that much and usually most will prefer to have their foot against the part of the fender, which obviously makes it difficult to use their knees to steer, so those pads need to be adjustable out. I won’t buy one until something is done, and word is getting around that the product is inferior.
Good question... I wouldn't recommend riding the S-MAX in snowy/icy conditions as the tires have no tread meaning you'll have very little grip on the road. The Ninebot S can be fashioned with Hybrid or Off-Road tires, so I'd say that model is a better option for winter riding
Yes it can reason why I bought an s max u can turn the white go cart to the go cart pro same speed everything 24km and distance plus a max already have drifting tires.
No, unfortunately, only the Ninebot S is compatible. Here’s a breakdown of what’s compatible with what: - Ninebot GoKart Kit w/ Ninebot S - Ninebot GoKart Pro w/ Ninebot S-MAX - Ninebot GoKart Pro 2 w/ Ninebot S2 Hope that helps a bit there and sorry for the delayed response, Doc! - Mikey :)
Sadly, that is the case. Always check your device’s instruction manual, as each part varies in length of coverage. 👈 Otherwise, we are more than happy to service your Segway-Ninebot electric scooter after warranty for a fair price. We wouldn’t recommend riding your Ninebot S, S-Plus, or S-MAX in the rain. However, if you do, make sure you wear a helmet, go a reasonable speed, and make sure your ports/nuts/bolts are closed and tightened. And lastly, watch out for people!
One of the benefits of purchasing a device from Segway of Ontario is that we have a full service department in the Distillery District, Toronto. We can't speak for other Segway-Ninebot dealers, but we are always here for you throughout the lifetime of your device :)
Didn't say which is best for ease to ride control and better chance not falling off. I can not Rollerblade, rollerblade or iceskate. (Of course it could be the products are malfuctioning). My guess is Max is easier safest for people like me that always buy malfunctioning equipment.
Cee Bee, yes all 3 models can go really easy on a gulf course, taller grass, off-road and even in some beaches where the sand is not to soft Some people added a 3rd small wheel to carry the golf equipment in the Ninebot S-plus and it will follow them around
@Emmanuel Blanco You are correct, however, the S MAX that comes with the GoKart Pro has the kneebar, not the steering column. When the S MAX is purchased on its own, it comes with a steering column.
Hi Taylor, our shop in Toronto will be carrying the steering column but no ETA is confirmed as of yet. I don't yet have pricing, my apologies, but I will update you as soon as I do.
@@taylorkutlass6220 I might be willing to sell my S-Max. I have less than one mile on it. I have a Segway I2se and the S-max. The MAX rides very rough compared to my I2se but would be great for the go cart. I might buy the S with air tires and lighter too. Let me know.
If you purchase the S MAX on its own - it comes with the height-adjustable steering column. If you purchase the S MAX as part of the GoKart Pro - it comes with the kneebar.
I don't see the market if these devices. They are slow, big and just weird. Should disabled people use these? But you can't even sit. Should normal people? They would rather just walk.
Too bad the S knee bar is so uncomfortable that it digs right into your knee and hurts. At least for me. And because it's not adjustable, there's nothing you can do, unless you find and buy a third party part, which shouldn't have to be the case. Might have to return the one I just got.
I BOUGHT MY S MAX SIX MONTHS AGO AND I GO ANYWHERE AND DO ANYTHING WITH IT. FLAWLESS. THE ONLY GRIPE I HAVE IS: I BOUGHT THE MECHA KIT WITH IT. IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE YET, THE PROGRAM HAS NOT BEEN WRITTEN YET. I HAVE HEARD FROM OTHER PEOPLE THAT DID THE SAME THING. I LIVE HERE IN HAWAII, SO YOU CAN IMAGINE THE SHIPPING COSTS TO GET IT HERE. Dad?
Love the S plus
We’re so glad to hear! We love it too!🤠🛴
Thanks I was looking for videos comparing them!
No worries! Happy to help!
I own them all and looooove it! Love the go kart and go kart pro too!
I was absolutely loving the Gokart Pro on day 1 until my S Max died on day 2.

If the max height for the S Max is 6 feet 6 inches but the max weight is 187 lbs, what person do envision taking a ride within these parameters?

How would you safely lock the ninebot s ? Just through the handles ?
I like the idea of the Max, but not the handle. After all of these years - no innovation? I'd like to see the new tires on an S-Plus.
I'm 230 lb 10 lb over the limit for the s Max. Would that be big of a issue/problem for that device?
It wouldn’t be a big issue, other than the fact that you may experience less speed and range on your device.
If you’re still unsure, we’d recommend emailing Segway-Ninebot, the manufacturer, at technicalsupport@segway.com. - Mikey
I need the best one for off roading, how do I pick??
You didn't mention the fact that max tires wear out very quickly and also break very easily.
How steep of an incline can the S-plus handle with a 187 pound rider? I’m thinking of getting one of these instead of trekking up the boat launch ramp.

Can the s max mini pro can be attach to the segway go kart kit or not

How can I get the shopping basket for mine.
can the follow me function on the s plus follow you even if you are jogging?
It does have an adjustable max speed that is capable of speeds of the average jogger.
I really regret that these vehicles are currently not available in Europe…

The Ninebot S? 🤔 - Mikey
Does the go kart has extra payments
The GoKarts can either be bought in a bundle or purchased separately
They have the worst mechanism to remove the knee bar. It's a pain to convert to GoKart mode.
