5x ive seen Metronomy live! And always feels like the 1st, and lemme tell you, they usually go wayyyyyy harder than this show ahah but love them anyways
Saw them at Secret Garden Party. They fucking rocked. Think it's the sound engineer at fault here, but I haven't listened to his style enough to judge properly.
This lot are rather interesting. Or, more precisely, Joseph Mount (the composer, singer, keyboardist) is rather interesting; the other two chaps merely play well enough. However, Anna Prior, the chick drummer, can barely play her instrument and should be sacked in favour of an accomplished, dynamic drummer. Once that happens, Metronony may well stand a chance of becoming an interesting band.
Are you trying much too hard to convince yourself that you have something worthwhile to share with others on this thread? Or did you merely post your comment to show everyone what an EMPTY HEADED MORON your are?

The way the lead singer sings that melody while playing the main keys riff is mind blowing. He makes it seem effortless.
And Anna Prior keeping perfect time, playing 4 straight minutes of 16th notes with her right hand only - that is hard to do!
Indeed! Also Jules Crommelin from Parcels plays insane guitar riffs while he singing.
Yeah that keyboard rhytmn is really hard to combine with the main vocals.
