This is the longplay of the game Yoshi's Safari, released in 1993, a shooter style game on rails, where Mario, mounted on his faithful friend Yoshi, can shoot the enemies that come his way. The game uses SNES Super Scope to aim at enemies (and be careful not to hit Yoshi).
In Yoshi's Safari, or Yoshi's Road Hunting as it is known in Japan, Mario and Yoshi embark on a journey in search of King Fret and his son Prince Pine of Jewelery Land, a kingdom next to the Mushroom Kingdom. At the beginning of the game we see Princess Peach asking the help of Mario and Yoshi to save their friends who were kidnapped by Bowser.
The video was done in hard mode and was obviously played in an emulator using the mouse. Yoshi's Safari is also the first and only shooting game starring Mario.

There's something really funny about imagining Mario firing an automatic weapon on green dinosaur that stares at you when you do good.

I remember buying this game at the swapmeet when I was a kid and being so disappointed that I couldn’t play it because I didn’t know what a superscope was lol

Awful graphics. And the game play would have bored me to death after 5 minutes of playing this

Dark Samus, kinda, as Metroid Prime is more of a First Person Adventure like many others have said.
The only time that Metroid Prime was closer to a FPS would be the Multiplayer in 2 and Hunters and Federation Force.
I love how people in the comment section are making joke comments about Mario having a gun or saying that this was a childhood game of theirs, but is no one gonna talk about that people who played this game in the west were exposed to Princess Toadstool's Japanese name that we're now used to since 1996?
The super scope was dumb. they should of just let u use the Zapper, but obviously upgrade it for SNES. Nobody could afford this giant plastic canon
I remember having one as a kid and it broke in like a week and got returned. Doesn't matter if you could afford it or not it was a POS

so how is the recording of boktai2, ff tactics and mother 3 going? and, just asking, any plans on suikoden 3? (and as just a personal reminder I've requested 3 fire emblem games, path of radiance, radiant dawn and genealogy of the holy war, right?)
About the Fire Emblem versions of the GC and Wii: I'll have to get used to Dolphin to start this and see how I'll record it. I took one of the builds of version 5.0 of Dolphin, I recorded a short video but at the time of doing the dump, the same is leaving the video and audio out of sync (and external programs do not capture the video of this emulator), so I am studying to see which version is better for me, so it is easier to get started with DS versions (since DesMume is an easy-to-work emulator). The other videos will continue in the next few days, they have been saved and will be resuming soon.
yikes, not fun, all you can do is find a set-up that works. doesn't answer about suikoden 3 though, and genealogy is a japan only snes fire emblem, I think so you'd need to emulate that. oh, well. good luck with everything. and I hope path of radiance is one of the first things your successful dolphin set-up records, but up to you.

It does not just depend on the PC. My PC is now a powerful PC, but my internet stays the same basic 80mb download and 6MB upload internet (and with an upload rate so I can take days to upload large videos).
