You could try telling Sara you'd rather not make a decision about where to eat (because it takes a lot of mental energy you don't have at the moment) then she won't feel selfish for picking something she wants instead of letting you pick.
As a married guy… that has never worked lol.
If I don’t have a preference that day, what I end up doing is listing 2-3 places my wife likes, and then she picks from that list. Everyone’s happy as a result!
Oh my gosh. That meme about the hypnotism brought up some trauma. I remember that at a Benn Hinn crusade, they had the youth crowd at the altar. Hinn waves a hand. And of course, if anyone in the front row buckled, all of us behind are knocked over like dominoes. Almost crushed. Couldn't avoid the fall. It was terrifying. All a charade. Immediately imagined how cool that looked on television though.
You may have been knocked down by other people, but other people were knocked down by the power of God. Not everyone feels it in the same way, but it is very real, and Benny Hinn definitely operates in the power of God as he ministers. I'm sorry that it was a traumatic experience for you, though.

@eandm_creations - no, and to be honest I'm not likely to watch it any time soon. I've been in a sanctuary where Benny was ministering and felt the power and presence of God significantly active in the room. I've heard testimonies from multiple other people who I respect who have been powerfully impacted by the Holy Spirit through Benny's ministry, with significant God encounters involved. I've been blessed by his book, "Good Morning, Holy Spirit". I have been personally blessed by God through the ministry of his daughter, Jessica Koulianos. I have a close friend who was radically impacted by God through the ministry of his son-in-law, Michael Koulianos. I've seen the respect that Michael demonstrates toward Benny. I don't remember if Mike Winger is cessationist or not, but the limited memories that I do have of what I've heard from him involved a pretty heavy bias. So I am pretty comfortable not watching an exposé of one Christian by another, and particularly when the one doing the exposing is already coming from a place of significant bias.

Josh, the Grilled Cheese is too real ... my kids eat grilled cheese for lunch EVERY day and there are some restaurants that don't have anything else they want to eat... if we want to eat there we either have to plan a different lunch, or they'll have grilled cheese twice in one day. They'll totally do it though 😭

I can't speak to the specific instance of the people reacting at 1:58, but that phenomenon is absolutely a real thing, and it has nothing to do with hypnotism (though hypnotism might be able to mimic it). That's a bit like saying someone is hypnotized if they physically react when grabbing or touching an electric fence. If you haven't experienced it for yourself, just know that sometimes the power of God can hit parts of your body like an electric current, and it can cause your muscles to contract the same way electricity can.

Though if you think about any part of the plot, it breaks down real poorly

Blessed are those who believe in don’t see I guess. However, it’s still so sad that they never experienced the power of the Holy Spirit and they don’t walk in the basics of Church function like we see in the New Testament especially first and second Corinthians. Too often use of their platform is manipulated by a spirit, yes spirit, to deny even the most basic things of God like how it’s fairly normal to be overcome by the glory of God and experience his JOY! This can happen when his presence comes in like Jeremiah 23. It doesn’t have to happen when another person is even around. I pray that it happens to these influencers in the quiet so they can’t try to “logically” (not logical at all) dismiss the good things of God, such as being caught up in the spirit and the healing power that can come over you that is so Shekinah heavy you can step under it. Remember, that same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells inside us and sometimes even joining hands in pray brings such a power or light. God is continuously doing miracles and more but sadly, Satan worshipers have more faith in the spiritual realm than a Christians who are on the right side of things! If you see people when people fall on the glory your looking to see people and you’re missing God as you access your brothers and divided the church. David didn’t get in trouble for dancing in his underwear, his wife got in trouble for her opinion of it. I suppose a person doesn’t see anything in the spirit when they let blinding demonic spirits manipulate well meaning desires as Paul allowed to happen to him. A person is just as blind as an atheist trying to dismiss the things of God because they just can’t believe God does what he does. They peoples don’t want to believe that Moses’ face actually glowed or that things like that still happen and people who have it happen like Moses tend to veil it still!!! The body of Christ has got to stop being divided, God is charismatic, like him or not for being as he is. Even 1 Corinthians 14 says to eagerly desire the gift of prophecy and love in unity. Are you praying for that? Joel two explains how these things increase, not decrease. As much as people want to believe those falling on their face like Danial and John are the ones doing something not in the Bible it’s actually those trying to explain away with new theology their reasoning as to why God is not the same today yesterday and tomorrow. Read scripture like Jeremiah 23. It’s not figurative. Let the Holy Spirit move through your life. That has more to do with God, not forcing himself on anyone, but be careful if you think your doing the will of God, but your not. Acts22:6 “About noon as I came near Damascus, suddenly a bright light from heaven flashed around me. 7 I fell to the ground and heard a voice say to me, ‘Saul! Saul! Why do you persecute me?’
