I’m a 6’1” woman and my husband is 5’9”. I decided a long time ago that I didn’t want to rule out over 90% of the male population by saying I’ll only date guys my height or taller.
And then there's me who wants to seem taller so I actively seek out shorter guys 😂

Just like there's guys who would prefer to be the tall one in the relationship, there's girls that would prefer to be with someone taller than them. I know you guys were joking, but I don't think it was kind to say it's the kind of girl that sleep around...
My wife grew up always being the 'tall girl'. Guys were often intimidated by her just because of her height. She wanted to find a Christian man, but also wanted to feel like her husband was tallish and could protect her. She was tired of having people look at her cause of her height. Instead, people look at me and it makes her feel more feminine when walking next to me. Usually love your stuff guys and have been a long time viewer.
@@JrodGtar I think preferences are fair and valid, but I also think they can go too far, such as in the case of the meme. It was funny because it was calling out the insanity of caring so much about and putting so much worth into a guy's appearance - specifically his height. IMO, a man's height should be one of the LEAST important things about his appearance. However, as society does, we've decided to perpetuate these insane standards by implying that men aren't masculine enough if they're less than 6 feet, and also that women aren't feminine enough if they're taller than 5'5" (or if they're taller than their husband/boyfriend). And it seems like your wife suffers from the effects of these stupid expectations. Personally, I'm very hard-pressed to find a guy who's my height or shorter, so as long as he doesn't think calling me short (or God forbid "smol") is cute, I don't care how tall he is.

My parish doesn’t bring out the incense often but when they do you bet I’m going to be breathing as much in as I can. Ps, that’s automatically meme of the week.
We need to make using incense a common practice again.
@@Nonz.M As a Catholic, I can tell you that it is! In many Catholic Churches, the incense is used quite frequently, especially by some priests. So find one near you if you miss it!
The Catholic mass is a routine, so if you don't know what to do, just do what everyone else is. And at Communion cross your hands across your chest for a blessing, or stay in your seat.

@@WrenGirl I'm a Lutheran, so our Mass (commonly known as Divine Service) is very similar. Incense is used in some parishes, but it's not super common these days. I've been to a couple Roman Catholic Masses in the past and I didn't see incense. Maybe it was low Mass.
@@Nonz.M It depends on the priest, done really like it and others only use it on special days like feast days, weddings, holidays, stuff like that. I didn't know Lutherans use it too sometimes, cool!
In Orthodox Christianity we use it at every service! ☦️

The fog machine one was hilarious!! In all seriousness though, as someone who attends a church where incense is used at High Mass - ain't nobody swinging the thurible around like in that clip, that's just craziness. Also, the incense is blessed, and it's use is a tradition that goes back thousands of years. Traditional external practices are made to draw the heart and the mind up to the spiritual realities we are celebrating at the Mass/service, not to entertain like fog machine theatrics. The liturgical nerd in me just had to clarify the key difference there!
As a Lutheran, I also wanted to point that out. Incense far predates fog machines. The Israelites used it in worship.

For the meme at 2:12: I disagree with y’all’s take. As a woman I think it’s perfectly reasonable to want a guy who’s taller than you, as long as you’re realistic about how much taller. I’m 5’5” and say for example I’d like to have a man around 5 inches taller than me, so 5’10” is pretty reasonable.
Women are allowed to have preferences with unchangeable attributes, just as men are allowed to. As long as they’re not disrespectful about it
