Eric Clayton is one of the few christian metal songwriters that is a lyrical master right up there with among the best to ever do it .

This is the perfect way to end this list. For me this takes the cake. All of these songs took me back. Can't wait for Legend II.

Finally, the best song on the album!
I just wanted to say I have really appreciated the remasters, they give a whole new life to the album. Savior Machine has been one of favorite bands for a while now, and your guys music has been a blessing, especially Savior Machine II and Legend: Part 1. I know of no band that is even comparable in sound or the nuanced messages.
God bless all the members of SM, you guys are awesome.

It's been a joy hearing this album remastered with a warmer, more full low end. I've always loved these songs, but for me this treatment is like hearing it all again for the first time. Bravo!! If there is a physical release of this 30th anniversary edition, I'll buy it on release day.

My favourite song on this album - what I learned from the song - we as christians sometimes just want God to send everyone to hell - but Christ came to save everyone- and wants everyone to be saved - no matter what you have done.

Agree. There is an amazing pivot at 5:20, where the plea "please, leave them to die" is immediately followed by "bring them to life." From vengeance to restoration and reconciliation, with all the eschatological perfections following. This is such an incredible prayer for universal salvation, fully aware of the atrocities of the wicked deserving of death, who really MUST die and be judged and pay the penalty due their wickedness, but then there is the prayer to bring them to life, the real life they never knew. And it has to be talking about the exact same people. It's not like leave the wicked to die and bring the righteous to life. This is a bold, soul-deep prayer for the salvation of us all, twisted and confused and darkened and ignorant as we were, to be initiated into the eternal truth for which we always yearned in our misguided ways. At least that's how I read it. Eric, am I right? I hear this as a prayer from the deepest heart, that God set everything aright and restore all creation and heal us all, down to the wickedest sinner, who was always blind to deepest truth we sought and seeking fulfillment in all the wrong places.

I love this track. Without two... without time. It sounds like a complete formless Oneness and final dissolution into infinite God.

I love this track, Alone and Jesus Christ were many times the final songs in my DJ Sets and after these songs were so often a beautiful silence in the audience. Goosebumps!!!❤
