I am amazed at the fact SM refused to give up after the frontline issues. I remember after buying the SM album on frintline, a few months later i heard they were getting hate for the "dragon slides between her thighs" lyric. 😂. But yeah. The deep theology behind that is amazing. Eric Clayton is one of the best lyric writers ever. My favorite line ever is "We have met the enemy...and he is us". SM tackled issues that were not talked about back then and ever much today. And the whole Legend Series is truly "the soundtrack to the end of the world" . And everything had Scripture reffences to it. Still one of my favorite bands ever. I am bummed about the whole nonsense they had with nyclear blast and the final album also... I just hope they do a remaster series..especially with the Legend 3:2 album. With AI tech and Dolby Atmos technology it could be possible and amazing to hear. Be blessed.

I feel similarly. Cannabis is a true medicine. So is psilcybin and amanita in microdoses. Kratom can help people get off prescription opioids, but it's a demon of its own if you're not careful. Dosage is everything.

This was my favorite track from this incredible record! I put this thing on multiple mix tapes that blew my friends' minds. Love the fluttery-yet-heavy palm-muted 16th-note shredding on this track, and the circle-of-fifths power chord progressions, all exploding into a punky gothic power-chord chorus where the vocals really cut loose. This song is the definititon of EPIC. Eric EPIC Clayton. And those captivating Jeff Clayton meandering guitar leads. This track is pure gold. I remember the anticipation to see these guys at Cornerstone in the late 90s, Legend I or II era, I think Legend I, and I was exhausted at the time from so many concerts and hot and muddy weather, and I remember seeing these guys perform (98 or 99?) , and my friends and I had camp chairs and were watching the concert, and I was nodding off in a delirious exhaustion, and suddenly realized they WERE PLAYING THIS, MY FAVORITE SONG! I can still remember it, in the half-dream state delirium I was in a few days into Cornerstone. Probably one of the greatest shows I ever saw, and alas, I was nodding off and half-aware as they played this, my favorite track.

The drumming on this album is masterful! Love that off-beat ride cymbal-bell hit in the chorus with the 16th note hi-hat supporting it... so tasteful, so much flair and nuance. This song builds to such an epic crescendo!

Eric, this is my favorite album of all time. The remaster really sounds crisp and punchy and bright. Love it. Is there somewhere we can buy a physical copy of it? Or download the full-definition files without RUclips compression?

I have been listening to Legend II since it came out. To this day that record makes me teary eyed. It is the greatest musical recording ever made in my opinion. Eric isnt a singer, he is a composer. Legend II is a symphony. Ive always believed this is what music will sound like in Heaven. How the world doesn't know about this band is beyond my comprehension. Eric is beyond brilliant, he is celestial, cosmic, he is a vessel of the sounds of Heaven.

Discovered this through a friend in 2001. At the time I was having a massive relevation as I was in the process of discovering black metal, thrash metal and that kind of music. A lot of that stuff has some very dark, even satanic lyrics. Discovering this at the same time and also enjoying it just as much had an incredibly profound effect on me, as I felt like I was literally being torn in two directions at once. This album has followed me through my life and has remained the cornerstorne of my spirituality. Eric Clayton has also been a tremendous inspiration and motivation for me to continue developing my singing voice. I sing quite similar to Eric so he has been perhaps one of the 3 greatests influences on my singing. I will always be incredibly grateful for having this music in my life. The lyrical imagery is extremely vivid and it has just been an all around key to a lot of things in my life. I can never thank Saviour Machine enough.

This is the perfect way to end this list. For me this takes the cake. All of these songs took me back. Can't wait for Legend II.
