    love Bk work and see it works ...for me if I do it and formal meditation it works better .....the meditation which Katie talks about, where we brush thoughts aside, develops our concentration ....and this wasn't the goal of the Buddha's teachings ....he used the concentrated mind to look at the thoughts .....it is very difficult to look at thoughts without a very concentrated mind...so writing our thoughts down as Bk suggests helps stop the mind ......yet until our minds question all the thoughts which arise ...and/or we have developed good concentration, the mind will again and again lead us around and we suffer..I have found that doing q 4 and looking at the thoughts in meditation with a still mind, has the same effect ....namely a relaxation in the heart area, followed by elsewhere in the body ...as mind and body let go of a concept and spaciousness and happiness arising in the body and mind ....from this spaciousness, other options can be seen ...the turnarounds ....and certainly ...for me one helps the other ..... I often hear that people stop doing the work ...maybe because of the effort involved ...and obviously believing their own thoughts ...and how people find meditation progress slow .....me too ...in both these areas ....and the more I do...the more I see just how necessary it is to have continuity of practice ....how the mind needs watching ...well 24/7 ......if there is to be real progress ....and truly I find that nothing else is really important .....and the clear mind is way more rewarding than anything at all that we grasp or think we want ......
    Really hope the work spreads along with a meditation that works for the one doing it ......💙
