This is a *great* video! First, I enjoyed seeing the Zorn palette on something other that a portrait, you for some great colors I didn't know you could get from the Zorn palette. Second, I really appreciated hearing your process and seeing a bit off mixing. Third, I really struggle with acrylics so seeing the underpainting to the block in to the details was super helpful for my own work flow. It showed how an acrylic painting comes together which was very helpful. Thanks.
No, I didn't. I only used Cadmium Yellow Medium with Ivory Black and Titanium White to paint the eyes. Usually I put those additional colours as flecks here and there to tie the whole painting together but I didn't do that for this one.
