I got money sent to my PayPal I got an email saying that the money is sent and I opened the link and got a message saying that I got the money but then there is nothing in my account

You have to login your paypal account directly then check in your paypal account, and it is possible that the link or mail you received is fake or advertised, so if the payment is sent from your known friend or buyer then it will reflect in your account or login to paypal and go to resolution center to check if the payment is on hold

provide a PayPal pay me link or invoice to course hero and tell them to pay the invoice if they really want to pay , also remember paypal is not working in india for indian payment, you can only receive payment from outside of india as of now, TRY STRIPE to receive payment, stripe also charge only 2.5 percentage

You can receive the payment in your PayPal account but it can not be transferred to your bank account until you verify your bank account , AND add PAN .
