      On a normal day 3/4 oz and if it’s windy and a strong current I’ll go 1 - 1 1/2 oz

I’m new at surf fishing. I bought 3 rods. 9tf, 10f, 11ft. But I can’t cast far with them. What kind of rod and line are you using?

I use 2 rods one is a 9’3” phenix trifecta lite for C-rig, and a 10’7”okuma Hawaiian custom both rods can cast very far and have a nice back bone to reel in a decent fish from the surf I use 20lb braid on both and a 6-20 lb fluorocarbon leader depending on what I’m targeting
