For the long term, I see the US economy following a Japanese economy because increasing new debts creates a law of diminishing return and eventually we will get to a point where any new debt will Not grow the economy and Ends into a Debt Deflationary collapse.

Pre 1933 gold coins and gold watches are nowhere near rare or even uncommon now. A confiscation is not a confiscation if the government doesn't get the gold.
They didn't do a confiscation,they told people to turn their gold in.If the didn't they could be fined a substantial amount or face going to jail.People choose to turn their gold in.

Profit! Throughout history, war, or geopolitical turmoil, gold and silver have risen in value just as they are now. There will almost always be some sort of trading vehicle for goods such as cash, gold, silver, jewelry, ammunition, etc. while stocks, bonds, CDs and banks collapse, similar to what's happening now. At least until there is a total and complete social breakdown and collapse in society reaching anarchy where there ends up being total lawlessness and people running rampant in the streets, killing and looting. At that point gold and silver will have no real value to most people except a few that may hold out hope for a system recovery. At the point of total social breakdown, basically food and water will be about the only items people will be seeking and yes, gold and silver will have very little appeal. And that scenario is quite likely since human nature is progressive and the elites are orchestrating this behind the scenes for an eventual total control over society. Desperate and hungry people are easily controlled.
If US could fight Iran, they would have done it 10+ years ago. Sorry but good luck fighting in mountains. Afghanistan defeated them without even having actual military 😂😂
We give Iran $6B, then several days later, a Senator says Iran's oil reserves should be bombed. Good thing the USA has a consistent policy vis-à-vis Iran.
