my favorite show
As a kid, I loved and appreciated screech’s crush on Lisa. He was white and she was black. At no point was it an issue. He was jus a kid who liked the pretty girl.

I love that these 90’s shows always had a great spot for the main characters and schoolmates to hang out with like The Max, The Den, The Bronze, Chubby’s, etc. Such an intimate staple for television back then.

I miss those Saturday Mornings so much. It was set in stone, in the early 90s, from 7am to 2pm. After that... hang out at the park or a friend's house for the rest of the day. There ain't shit to watch on Saturday mornings anymore.

One of my favorite episode is season 2 "Jessie's song" Jessie Spano's (Elizabeth Berkley) overdose on caffeine pills and the rendition of “I'm So Excited” during the music video girls group "Hot Sundae" "Break the Sweat" that followed. that was back on November 3rd 1990.
Mine too, Kelly never really grabbed me because all the guys wanted her which is typical looking back now I preferred Jessie or Lisa.

Same for me.
This was one of my FAVORITE sitcoms ever. I can still sit back and watch Saved By The Bell for HOURS.
My siblings and I would gather together on Sat to watch Saved By the Bell. That was back when there were no Tivo, Internet, or RUclips, so if you missed it when it aired that was it.
Got to meet Zack, Kelly, and Screech at a parade in 93. Zack didn't want to talk to anyone or have anyone near him. Kelly let people come take pictures with her and I and a few friends took pictures with her. Screech was friendly that time.
Saved By The Bell is still a classic and they have their own network. We still watch the show every single day.
For Years They Played An Hour Block On TBS At 6am Every Weekday Morning.... I Still Love It. The Reboot Was Good As Well.
Dustin Diamond also made a cameo appearance in the 2002 movie Big Fat Liar along with Kenan Thompson and he was also on Celebrity Fit Club along with Da Brat, Warren G, Ross Mathews, Tiffany, etc.
Next year will be the 35th anniversary of Saved by the Bell

I never knew Saved by the Bell "The New class" lasted 7 seasons, I never watched any episodes of that show because it just wasn't the same without the original gang.
I agree. The New Class era wasn't good in my opinion. Saved By The Bell at that point was played out.
Elizabeth Berkeley was a recurring character on CSI Miami. Playing Julia, the mother of Horatio Caine's son.
I enjoyed Saved By The Bell every time it was on and enjoyed the movies too. It’s crazy when you hear these wild stories that went on behind the scenes but I’m not surprised.

“Good morning Miss Bliss” had a full season. In fact when Saved By The Bell was put into syndication they aired it with Mark Paul Goslin “Zach” saying “this came from last year…” then went into the Saved By the Bell intro
You did it again Juicy Pop. I'm loving your videos. Saved By The Bell was one of my favorite sitcoms. Zack talking to the audience and scheming and plotting, Kelly being the hot brunette girl that all the guys want, Slater being the football and wrestling jock, Lisa being the money spending temper tantrum snob, Jesse being the tall straight A student, Screech just being stupid and following Zack around, and Mr Belding with his famous catch phrase "HEY HEY HEY HEY WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?" OMG gotta love Saved By The Bell . R.I.P. Dustin Diamond.
I also always loved "time out" when everyone would freeze.
Some people would still be moving slightly but it was a cool concept on the show nonetheless.
I honestly didn't hear about Screech. I remember Diamond writing a tell-all book and really making people mad, but never heard about this.

Lisa Turtle was an ICON! I watched 'Zach Morris is Trash!' on TT and I realized Slater was too! Crazy to watch it as a teen then realizing what's actually happening as an adult is WILD.

The entire main cast had aged VERY well. I ALWAYS liked Elizabeth Berkeley because she was tall and smart 🤓 like me ❤. Zach can STILL get it 😂. He's about 10 years older than me, but i don't care. 😊

This was one of the great shows that I always go back to every so often to re-watch.
I even liked the College Years, all the episodes were good also & the characters. I think if I remember correctly, the reason it failed was because they put it in the night time slots and it couldn't compete with the other, more serious shows that aired at the same time.
California Dreams that you mentioned, was another good one.
The New Class was just bland... lasted longer because it was early in the day because some of those cast members were such, such horrible actors.

I caught a few episodes of Saved by the Bell and I could see the appeal even though I wasn't a huge fan of the show. A good looking cast with relatable topics proved to be a recipe for a MEMORABLE sitcom. Ngl I'm ALWAYS going to love Elizabeth Berkley as Nomi Malone in Showgirls! 😅❤

They were NOT the first live action sitcom for kids on Saturday mornings. Sid and Marty Kroft were doing that in the 70s with great success.

The SBTB reboot was so much better than it had any right to be.
That's one reason I signed up for the Peacock app along with Punky Brewster and The Office. The one thing I loved about the new Saved By the Bell was that you got to see a lot more of the school and even outside. It was starting to get good with the Slater and Jessie storyline until they cancelled it after season 2
I remember watching the reruns for this show in the early to mid 2000s because I did not have cable 😭

This show was only available as reruns at 6-7 in the morning for me growing up. Since I wasn’t used to the time change going from eastern to central time I was up too early for the day and watched Saved by The Bell until breakfast was ready. I was in 5th grade.

I think Screech really has the heart of the show.. never giving up on Lisa through all the years, and taking all kinds of punishment from everyone just about. but when Lisa finally gave into Screech and went out with him to the prom.. you felt it. It kind of reminded me of myself chasing the hottest girl in school. "to me she was" kept asking and asking her.. and finally she did give me a chance. made me feel like the most special young guy on the planet. And she kinda looked like Kelly but with blonde hair. she was a knock out! It never lasted though.
I used to watch that show every Saturday morning when I was A teenager Save bell A fresh Prince of Bel Air.

This brought back soooo many bomb and beautiful memories 🤌🏾👌🏾😂😂😂 this is when we couldn’t wait to catch all the Saturday morning shows, we were buying posters to hang on our walls and had crushes🫢🙌🏾😂😂 the 90s were a fun time and you just had to be there to really feel what ppl mean when they say that💯😂 I graduated in 99 so this was very nostalgic for me and made me smile and think about how much fun we had and didn’t even have cell phones or social media so we genuinely enjoyed the vibes and people👏🏾💪🏾🥰
I never got to see SBTB on Saturday mornings. I had to watch it on TBS in the evenings after school. Always had football and wrestling on Saturdays. Love this dam show. Never followed the next class. College years was fun but not that good. Loved bob golic in it though
In some ways, the show, Community, was the spiritual successor to Saved by the Bell (along with being inspired by The Breakfast Club). There are major differences, but a fair amount of similarities as well, as a show for adults.
Did anyone else catch the series “Zach Morris is Trash”? Very amusing (and exaggerated) perspective on how messed up some of the character’s schemes and pranks were. It was on Amazon for a while.

I think the creator was mistaken about when Tiffani went to 90210. Because she came back and did College Years for another year before it was cancelled. Then Shannen Doherty left 90210, and then Tiffani joined Aaron Spelling's show after College Years.

I absolutely LOVED this show when I was younger. It dealt with touchy real life issues in a sensitive way I understood.
Example: The episode where Jessie got addicted to caffeine pills.

I liked the video. It's a pretty typical synopsis of these kinds of shows. The 1st 2 seasons were the best. I actually liked "Good Morning Miss Bliss" better as a show. I felt the technical acting w/better dry humor was better.
