Some misinformation in regards to lotus. The evora and Emira have the same engine, different tune/HP vs the GT however same Toyota 2GR-fe. At some point an auto only AMG 2.0 will be available. The Emira is made in the same facility the evora is produced, mostly still hand made however a few robots have been added some state mostly in the paint department. She does pronounce Emira correctly though! Lol

I have the same color Evora GT. Military Grey. I prefer my GT to the Emira too.
Funny how NO ONE pronounces the EMIRA as EH-MY-RA and how the girl would say it the correct way by saying EH-ME-RA like everyone else does but he keeps saying it his way 😂 Other than that, good video.

Also, that lady is absolutely correct: in order to TRULY appreciate a car and enjoy the driving experience, you have to have a manual. Love that she said that.

Emmeera. Not Emeyera!!! And the engine in the Emira is the exact same one as in the Evora (Toyota V6).
The Emira is just a detuned Evora with a modern interior to make it more daily drivable. The engine is the same: Toyota 2GR-FE engine. The transmission is the same: Aisin. The Evora is a track car. She is right that the Evora is the last hand made Lotus and is also a very limited production run.

The Evora GT is anything but comfortable. I tried it for 30 minutes, and I said no way I can use this as a daily. It's more difficult to get in/out of it.
The Emira however is a LOT more comfortable. You can live with it. The only thing this, there is no enough storage space, except in the back where the engine sits.
The Emira isn't as exciting as previous Lotus cars, but it looks and performs like a little supercar
Bro, I agree. And the fact that its looks isas competitive as it’s performance to other vehicles with higher price points, it’s unbeatable. I cannot wait to see more Emira on the road.
There is so much wrong with what the lady with the Evora said. the Emira is built in the exact same factory as the evora in Hethel England. oh and they have both have the same Toyota engine

Love the look of the Emira but very disappointed it is not made in Britain because it’s now a British sports car in name only. I prefer it when foreign owners of legendary British brands continue to employ British workers to make their products.
The Emira is made in Hethel, England. You can look up videos of the factory tour and see it being made.

yoo, who is the woman that you interviewed in the video at 5:48 she said the Emira is being built in China, blew my mind I just had to fact check this BS man. if you are any serious about doing these sort of video you need to correct stuff like this. Emira is still being built in UK on the same line that Evora was built on. Imagine buying a Lotus and seeing the Chinese VIN, common, they wouldn't see a single car.

You're such a gentleman that woman that you were talking to so much wants to sound like she knows what she's talking about unfortunately she doesn't you didn't but she tried she got a little here and there but you were very courteous every patient with her she's pretty and entertaining way too confident in what she thinks she knows though
Is it a Toyota supra V6 ? Or a Camry . But what's the difference. So why do they demand to call it a Camry engine ? Looking at they competitive market if it was less expensive and or called a MR2 . More so just less expensive considering you can buy a Ferrari or Lamborghini, Audi 8 . They should priced it cheaper and I believe it woulda sold more . Asking someone to buy a Camry vrs a Ferrari or Lamborghini just dumb to price it the same considering supra has the same thing what a Toyota V6 yes dependable and supercharger is a plus no turbo lag . ! Power right here right now just stupid marketing priced it to high and called it a Camry with a super charger . Honestly if that engine was in a supra instead of the BMW engine in today's supra would anyone complain ? No . But put it in a lotus everybody cry's complains and goes and buys the porsche or honestly they just go get a hellcat why buy a supercharged V6 when you can have a supercharged V8 . ??????? !!!!! I actually love the Evora it's a over priced anchor because no one in there right minds well like Ferrari and Lamborghini is good on maintenance and dependable. But let's face it no one's gonna buy a marketed Camry vrs a Audi V8 or Lamborghini or Ferrari. That Evora should have been cheaper and called a Toyota/supra V6 engine. The only thing Evora has done is be a beautiful grate car that hurt the sales of the exige because everyone clowns the Evora and tarnished the name of lotus . Now listen to what I'm saying look at big picture and till me I'm wrong. Love the car one of my favorites on the market . Just stupid to call it a Camry engine in the market it's competing against. And stupid to over price it .
