You know what ? I’m leaving in Halifax and I’ve been surfing last weekend.. I CAN’T..
It is not cold, is freezing l, even my head has freezing, I couldn’t even though..
To sum up, my brain wasn’t braining !!

@@tainanlima9350 A 5/7mm wetsuit with a hood, boots and gloves, and you can stay out for hours without getting a chill! I'm very sensitive to the cold but even I'm comfortable out in the water for hours in Canada with a good wetsuit :)

My friend, California has 15+ft surf in many, many places. And 20+ft surf in a couple of places every few winters.

You want a novelty wave with freezing water. Try Brew Bay Powell River. Winds need to be 100 kph. Crazy fun wave.

I lived in Seattle for a few years before moving to Hawaii. I can’t tell you how badly I was jones’g for surf while there. I grew up in So Cal and full suits are required winter fare for hard core types. If I only knew of this spot while in NW I’d have spent many a weekend getaway there!
