Just my review of the Uniqlo Single-Strap Backpack also known as a fanny pack, sling bag, shoulder bag, etc. Lot's of people are wearing these types of bag now a days and they are becoming somewhat of a fashion statement. I just did a quick measurement. Looks like 11 Inches for Width and 6 Inches for Height. I'm around 5' 7" / 5' 8" and I think it fits really well. The really small bags don't fit as much in my honest opinion.
A small note book, not a standard full size one. This is an old model. Uniqlo doesn't sell it anymore it seems. Some stores might still have it. check out my new model review one. That one seems smaller actually.

The water bottle in the mesh area will it rise the bag too much make you uncomfortable to wear?
Depends what you have in the bag but it's not too bad.

Wish the bag was slightly larger...like a proper sling bag.
It does a decent job of carrying most things I find.
