Not to steal Ian’s duly earned credit, but there are many who come to my mind, from Jimi Hendrix to Frank Zappa, or are we talking still living, because people are probably stopping reading this post by now….
JETHRO TULL= IAN ANDERSON VERY GRATEFUL 🙏🏻 FOR THE AMAZING THE WEALTHIEST👑🏴💕🙌🏻 SKILL AND TALENT ALWAYS INTERESTING NEVER EVER BORING GOD BLESS HIM AND 🙏🏻 THANK YOU FOR SHARING IAN❤🔥🔥🔥
A music for the next generation, don,t get me wrong here, having digested many hours of Ian and Tull sadly I am locked into the early stuff from the late 60s into the 70s, but then I am in my 70s, still it is great to hear the style change, still complex rifts musically as always its what ever turns you on
Tullish since … THE YEAR … ONE … the very early 70’s. So thankful and still listening in April 2022. Desde temprano en las montañas de los Planes de Renderos, San Marcos, San Salvador…..405 Freeway in L.A…. Antigua Guate hoy día….it’s a blessing. Thanks Ian and the gang…FOREVER.
Spero proprio che Martin Barre e Ian Anderson possano presto tornare ad esibirsi insieme. La loro intesa è uno dei principali ingredienti della musica che amo.
wire in the flute explains it today, how did it work with him blowing the flute in the mike before without a wire, i still can't figure that out, any theories?
I've been a big Tull fan for a lot of years, but I truly wish Ian would delegate lead vocals to someone without his obvious impairment. He can still whale on the flute and let's face it, he IS Jethro Tull, but it's long past time for someone else to step in as front man.
It's painful to hear Ian sing here😒 - his heavy voice was the cornerstone of the studio version. But his fluting is as sublime as ever, an able replacement for the voice that he's lost.
If you hone in on Martin's guitar work, you can hear what a Master guitar player he is. Perry had become an excellent Tull drummer, but my fav. is Barlow, he set the bar awfully high. Not fair to the other Tull drummers. This is an incredible live take on this tune.
Ian Anderson is Unquestionably the most intelligent person to be involved in Rock Music with the most artistic integrity.
Absolutely...🎶❤
You're right

What about Brotherhood of Man?
One of the most talented musicians ever!
If not THE most talented!! The greatest of all the rock gods, imo!!!
Omg!!! This song is one of my favourites!!!! 🤩🎶🌟👑 Jethro Tull 4 ever!!!👑🌟🇮🇹
One of Blackpool's finest. Ian is a special musician and man. Great song in a beautiful setting.
I heard that he even went up the Poole!😅

OMG ONE OF MY FAVORITES. COURSE THEY ALL ARE. THAT'S WHY I'VE SEEN ❤ HIM 5 TIMES.
How Barre alone do the lead and base guitar.... he's amazing...
JETHRO TULL= IAN ANDERSON

Ian and Martin are really in sync here
I auditioned for Tull many years ago and we had to learn this song
You don’t have to learn this song to audition….you already know how to play this classic…freakin Trolls
Ich liebe Jethro Tull seit ewigen Jahren. 16 Konzerte habe ich gesehen und hoffe, dass ich noch eins zu sehen bekomme.
Ist ein Traum von mir. Jörg
Jethro Tull lives forever!
This was a great lineup for Tull. Saw this lineup three times. Outstanding. Although Ian’s voice not nearly as good as it used to be. Still an icon.
I've always loved Martin's style and sound. A major influence on my picking up the guitar years and getting a PRS CE24.9d9y6
Fantastic live and as good as the original recording!
Legendary Ian Anderson..love Jethro Tull ❤

Is it just me or is he singing this in a higher key than the recording?
He is, and also he seems to be singing in a more "Jazzy" style as well, wandering on and off the beat.
@@BattleBladeWarrior There's nothing Jazzy about this he lost his voice
It's painful to hear Ian sing here😒 - his heavy voice was the cornerstone of the studio version. But his fluting is as sublime as ever, an able replacement for the voice that he's lost.
No Martin = No Tull.
Great song, just hated his voice went south, but smoking will do that to ones vocal chords
O Ian Anderson está sem pique, parece acabado.
cocain is a hell of a drug
