When my oldest son was 5 he told me that when he grew up he was going to “Cad-i-forn-a”. I was like oh no, I will miss you if you go and he put his hands on my face and said “don’t worry Mama, you can come too.” He moved to California in the 90’s and is still there today and working as a successful film editor!

Here is my LOA story. When I was nine or ten, living inTexas, I used to lie and bed and think my husband is out there, living and breathing, but I have not met him yet. He is a lumberjack. There were no lumberjacks in Texas! Cut to ten years later, I served a man lunch in the coffee shop where I worked. He asked me out. He was in the army at the time. Long story short, we got married and moved to Northern California, in giant redwood country, where he grew up, and where his father was indeed a logger. My husband got a job in a sawmill, and worked on the side felling trees.
Lovely...I am from Houston, Victoria and Port Lavaca and I imagined the love of my life too, a man from Georgia, a builder and we have built beautiful homes and lives togther. I knew henwas out there l long before I met him at 32...we will celebrate our 40th anniversary this coming year.
Following you over the years has proven your point: your life looks like a manifestation. You obviously love your work to the point of innovation (the "what are you wearing" NYC street series is brilliant). Your home has evolved into a dream-come-true. You and Michael have such a lovely rapport. I also have this feeling when I watch you that there is even more that will unfold for you. I hope so!
Girl what are you talking about! lol LOA is pretty well known by open minded people. It's not strange at all. We create what we desire, think about , feel intensely, visualize, etc.... and I believe the Soul knows about a larger plan and we are getting clues or hunches all the time about what direction the Life is urging us to go. It's a much more magical and wonderful way to live. But it takes a bit a faith and trust at the beginning. Creative folks intuitively know this... Thanks for sharing . I'm inspired

In my core, I have always believed if you ask, for what you SPECIFICALLY desire, and then say, “thank you for hearing me”, God sends you the request. It has been my truth in many instances. Manifestation is biblical. God’s Word says it all throughout the Bible. Words and thoughts have much power. God spoke and it was! Words are not empty Isaiah 55:11, Mark 11:23, Proverbs 18:21. Death and life are in the power of the tongue! God gets all the credit for manifestation!

I loved New York University. I dreamt about going to that school, but I knew I couldn’t afford it. So I would go to Washington Square park and watch the students go in and out of the library and different buildings. I would imagine myself walking in and out of the buildings as a students well. . I would walk the blocks of the different buildings in the village and about a year later I applied to a program at NYU and now I’m a graduate of that the school. This was 20 years ago. I still can’t remember how I actually paid for that school because it was and still is very expensive 😀😀😀
i have a dream of going to columbia but i’ve always thought it’s just not possible i’m not smart enough etc. but i think i want to be brave enough to believe that i’m fully capable and it’s fully possible
Ha! So I went to NYU 20 years ago as well. Just completed my Associates. Always wanted to get my Bachelor's. Life basically detoured me. Now my life has given me the opportunity to go back. I did an orientation last week. Plan on going Fall 2021. Just to finish what I started. And guess your comment just became another one of God's whispers. ☺️

Karen this is not boring. I was literally looking through my journals (one in particular from 2001-2006) on 12/21 and discovered that since 2001 so many things have happened/manifested that I either planned or desired or prayed for that it was mind blowing! Faith is an incredible substance indeed!
Love and appreciate this Karen. About 10 Years ago I said I’m not leaving my job until I got a mortgage and I want to live close to my parents and siblings. 3 years ago I was able to purchase along with my sister, my childhood home which is across the street from where my parents currently live, she lives in the upstairs apartment and I’m downstairs and 2 years ago where I worked offered me a separation package so not only did I leave my job, I got a nice little settlement too.
The MICHAEL story is so beautiful and powerful!!!! I had a similar experience with my husband. Sometimes yes it feels crazy but I believe in it so strongly that I don’t care what it looks like 🍀🙏🏾
I remember a few videos back when you nonchalantly said the you should have your own clothing line. Well, I know that we'll be hearing the good news soon😍. I don't call it LOA, but I do believe in the 'power of the tongue' and it can bring both "life and death" depending on how it's used. Hi Karen, Huge fan here...I've been a subscriber for a while. I love watching your videos and the passion and energy you show when you do your "love what you're wearing" videos. I live in NYC and have enjoyed your videos because they remind me of how beautiful the city was pre-pandemic so thanks for that. I was blown away by this video because as someone that practices manifesting stuff in my life I was so touched to hear that you practice it too. The instrument I use to manifest is a vision board which is just a sheet of paper with cut out pics of what I want in my life and stick it on a place where I'll see it every day like my bathroom mirror or refrigerator. I know it sounds hokey but this stuff works. I've mentioned this method to friends who want to realize an outcome in their lives that hasn't happened yet. Some try it with great success, some think it's a bunch of hooey and roll their eyes. One thing that I've noticed is that making a vision board to manifest something means you have to commit to the outcome and believe it or not, that's where it ends for some people. It takes courage to ask for what you want and can be terrifying for some to actually get what they want. I am familiar with your backstory -work wise- and am not surprised you achieved it through manifesting. I'm very touched that you shared the way you did it. My partner and I live up the road from RH Meatpacking and hope to bump into you some time.

I said out loud I wanna be in a billboard. A few months later I was getting back into acting, in the Seattle area and took a job that landed me on a billboard. It happens. I have a few stories! Karen I'm so happy you posted this video. My bff and I were on the phone for 3 hours talking about faith, patience and prosperity, peace and joy. By the end of our conversation we both have started on our vision board for the end of 2020 and 2021! My favorite bible scripture is: James 2:14-26 "Faith without works is dead"

I enjoy watching you, as you walk the streets of New York & your vintage & thrift shops. I m 68, but they say, I don't look it. I m always dressed r should I say, I m me. I always get compliments on my boots, shoes, hat, gloves & whatever I m wearing. My husband deceased 7 & a half yrs. ago. I miss him, but life goes on. I m down sizing, getting a smaller home, I started to work again, I know that GOD helped me get this job. Karen thank you soooo much for posting this video. I am almost in tears as I listen to your story. I have been in love with fashion like you it seems all my life. I have always wanted to work in it but never knew exactly how. In my early years I worked in retail for stores like Macy's and Bloomingdales that offered me opportunities to learn the Buying side of merchandising. Due to some life issues I derailed myself off that path. Now I'm a woman of a certain age with a youthful yet mature style and life outlook and my passion for fashion is still burning hot. It seems like more than ever. Especially watching some of new favorite Influencers such as yourself. Your style and life speaks volumes to me. I just love your joy for life and positive outlook. You and Michael are the cutest. I'm from NJ so I understand wanting to live NYC (although I can't wait to visit London). Manifestation is real. I know it. You know it. We all know it. You don't know how much you resonate with me. I have made two big mistakes with visualizations. One is questioning: "yes, but HOW is that supposed to happen?" The other is seeing what I visualized and not recognizing it for what it is. Thinking "this can't be it" and not grabbing the opportunity. I really love it when you have these "ramblings" because I feel like I am talking to a real good friend. I am doing my best to manifest the best things ahead for this new year. Happy New year to you too Karen! ( manifestation: I want a studio for myself. I paint, draw, sew, make crafts, write and play with clothes like yourself. List too long to pick from to give examples, but you are spot on the mark - it's not with the 'how' we need to concern ourselves, it is just the putting it out there, believing it and never stop believing it ... whatever "it" may be. I completely resonate with what you mentioned about having a gut/emotional feeling of something you somehow magically know is going to happen. I've never thought of it as manifestation, but more as a vision/premonition type of thing
Yes, it's a vision or premonition, I thought the same, but how to manifest something that we don't have a vision of, that's the question, and is that meant to happen? Is there a manifestation or only things that are meant to, happen? I'm struggling with these thoughts :)
Hi Karen, I completely get this! I also have experience with manifestations with most little things too. And like you I would say wow so why can't I say I will win $1M or something really big and have it happen! But as you said it's done rather flippantly. People around me says it's time though I manifest something really big cause there have seen over and over how it happens with smaller things. P:S like you I too explain it by saying "it" said to me....or I just know in my gut such and such will happen. Do enjoy the rest of the holiday season and looking forward to your videos in 2021!
@Green Blue I believe they are 3 different things. I can manifest what I want happen by thinking about it/ and saying it out loud. I may have a vision/flash in my mind or dream and see something that will happen (good) and to me the premonition is that really strong feeling almost warning me that something (bad/unexpected) is going to happen. So yeah to me they're 3 different experiences.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video Karen. I too believe that I have manifested things in my life without me actually being aware of myself doing it. I am currently manifesting something big in my future. At the moment my husband is experiencing depression and as you say in your video is very negative and therefore we are having a lot of negative happenings in our life. I am always grateful of the things I have in my life and it’s very difficult to get others to think this way too. Happy new year! x

Love everything about your journey, Karen! I am always concerned when people make sense out of their own lives and is journey through this kind of lens. You worked your butt off to get where you are! Manifesting suggests that ANYONE can achieve whatever they set their mind to, which places blame on those who do not “succeed.” It’s a psychologically damaging stance for those who do not achieve what they set their minds to and is directly related to heightened shame. Setting goals, making healthy connections, taking chances are all healthy actions but this is not magic and requires a set of external circumstances (financial, interpersonal, location, etc) that provide the opportunity to foster these ideas.

Seven plus years ago I was divorced, broke, jobless and homeless with two little dogs. I was in my late forties and begging people (including my first husband) for a place to stay. One day walking the dogs I had a vision of me walking down a hall in an elementary school. I knew in my gut I would be working in a school. A year later I was. It happened again six months after I started working I had a vision of me buying my first home when I turned fifty. I actually signed the papers to my first (and current) home three weeks before I turned fifty. So, yes, it is a very real thing. Thank you for sharing this video. I also began to realise law of attraction was real through thrifting clothes and i dont think it's a silly thing at all. It's in the small things of everyday life that law of attraction is really tangible. I believe the intuition you had when you were young or the voice that you heard were messages from the Karen of the futur who was sending all the feeling of joy she is having for living those moments that were not yet written. Wow I started tearing up too 🥺 This has to be a divinely channeled message because the way you described your early life almost exactly mirrors my current situation. I’ve been struggling trying to figure what I want to do with my career after graduating a few years ago with a marketing degree. I’m so glad you described your passion as “playing” with clothes because all I want in life is to feel like I’m playing as opposed to working; and I never felt like I was allowed to claim that openly without shame. I love fashion, beauty, art, design, culture, language, writing, curation, creating experiences and concept, but I have NO CLUE what that looks like as a career yet. I hate my current job, and I want to pay the bills, but the idea of going to a corporation feels like death. I’ve literally spent most of this year looking for a sign about where to go or what to do next and I think this message you channeled is the beginning of an answer 💗 thank you I’ve also always had what I call “knowings” that show up as visions either through day dreams while I’m awake or vivid lucid dreams when I’m sleeping. I’ve dreamt about really important moments in my life months before they happened. It used to be really frightening as a kid but as an adult it’s soothing to know that human intuition is more powerful and more reliable then conventional wisdom would have you believe 🥳✨
I applaud you. My life has been all about manifestations. Through fear and anxiety I have been rewarded. It wasn't always straightforward but things happen. It keeps you positive and moving forward.

When my oldest son was 5 he told me that when he grew up he was going to “Cad-i-forn-a”. I was like oh no, I will miss you if you go and he put his hands on my face and said “don’t worry Mama, you can come too.” He moved to California in the 90’s and is still there today and working as a successful film editor!

Here is my LOA story. When I was nine or ten, living inTexas, I used to lie and bed and think my husband is out there, living and breathing, but I have not met him yet. He is a lumberjack. There were no lumberjacks in Texas! Cut to ten years later, I served a man lunch in the coffee shop where I worked. He asked me out. He was in the army at the time. Long story short, we got married and moved to Northern California, in giant redwood country, where he grew up, and where his father was indeed a logger. My husband got a job in a sawmill, and worked on the side felling trees.

Lovely...I am from Houston, Victoria and Port Lavaca and I imagined the love of my life too, a man from Georgia, a builder and we have built beautiful homes and lives togther. I knew henwas out there l long before I met him at 32...we will celebrate our 40th anniversary this coming year.
Following you over the years has proven your point: your life looks like a manifestation. You obviously love your work to the point of innovation (the "what are you wearing" NYC street series is brilliant). Your home has evolved into a dream-come-true. Girl what are you talking about! lol LOA is pretty well known by open minded people. It's not strange at all. We create what we desire, think about , feel intensely, visualize, etc.... and I believe the Soul knows about a larger plan and we are getting clues or hunches all the time about what direction the Life is urging us to go. It's a much more magical and wonderful way to live. But it takes a bit a faith and trust at the beginning. Creative folks intuitively know this... Thanks for sharing . I'm inspired

53 years later, I prayed to God my Stephen would find me. We were lost from each other. He found-within a week, he found me. The weird part...I didn’t know his name. At 8 and 12 we agreed to marry. He asked my father who said yes “when she gets old enough.” But we got lost. I prayed. He came. I wish I could say this ends as it should but he was already obligated to another. I needed a certain amount of money to buy a home, have children and stay home to raise them. I got to the penny what asked for. For years, I wanted a swimming pool, it’s being built! If you seek, you shall find.

In my core, I have always believed if you ask, for what you SPECIFICALLY desire, and then say, “thank you for hearing me”, God sends you the request. It has been my truth in many instances. Manifestation is biblical. God’s Word says it all throughout the Bible. Words and thoughts have much power. God spoke and it was! Words are not empty Isaiah 55:11, Mark 11:23, Proverbs 18:21. Death and life are in the power of the tongue! God gets all the credit for manifestation!

I loved New York University. I dreamt about going to that school, but I knew I couldn’t afford it. So I would go to Washington Square park and watch the students go in and out of the library and different buildings. I would imagine myself walking in and out of the buildings as a students well. . I would walk the blocks of the different buildings in the village and about a year later I applied to a program at NYU and now I’m a graduate of that the school. This was 20 years ago. I still can’t remember how I actually paid for that school because it was and still is very expensive 😀😀😀

Karen this is not boring. I was literally looking through my journals (one in particular from 2001-2006) on 12/21 and discovered that since 2001 so many things have happened/manifested that I either planned or desired or prayed for that it was mind blowing! Faith is an incredible substance indeed!

About 10 Years ago I said I’m not leaving my job until I got a mortgage and I want to live close to my parents and siblings. 3 years ago I was able to purchase along with my sister, my childhood home which is across the street from where my parents currently live, she lives in the upstairs apartment and I’m downstairs and 2 years ago where I worked offered me a separation package so not only did I leave my job, I got a nice little settlement too.

Huge fan here...I've been a subscriber for a while. I love watching your videos and the passion and energy you show when you do your "love what you're wearing" videos. I live in NYC and have enjoyed your videos because they remind me of how beautiful the city was pre-pandemic so thanks for that. I was blown away by this video because as someone that practices manifesting stuff in my life I was so touched to hear that you practice it too. The instrument I use to manifest is a vision board which is just a sheet of paper with cut out pics of what I want in my life and stick it on a place where I'll see it every day like my bathroom mirror or refrigerator. I know it sounds hokey but this stuff works. I've mentioned this method to friends who want to realize an outcome in their lives that hasn't happened yet. Some try it with great success, some think it's a bunch of hooey and roll their eyes. One thing that I've noticed is that making a vision board to manifest something means you have to commit to the outcome and believe it or not, that's where it ends for some people. It takes courage to ask for what you want and can be terrifying for some to actually get what they want. I am familiar with your backstory -work wise- and am not surprised you achieved it through manifesting. I'm very touched that you shared the way you did it. My partner and I live up the road from RH Meatpacking and hope to bump into you some time.

I said out loud I wanna be in a billboard. A few months later I was getting back into acting, in the Seattle area and took a job that landed me on a billboard. It happens. I have a few stories! Karen I'm so happy you posted this video. My bff and I were on the phone for 3 hours talking about faith, patience and prosperity, peace and joy. By the end of our conversation we both have started on our vision board for the end of 2020 and 2021! My favorite bible scripture is: James 2:14-26 "Faith without works is dead"

I enjoy watching you, as you walk the streets of New York & your vintage & thrift shops. I m 68, but they say, I don't look it. I m always dressed r should I say, I m me. I always get compliments on my boots, shoes, hat, gloves & whatever I m wearing. My husband deceased 7 & a half yrs. ago. I miss him, but life goes on. I m down sizing, getting a smaller home, I started to work again, I know that GOD helped me get this job. Don't know how long I m working in Hobby Lobby, but GOD will send me wherever HE wants me to go. GOD gave me the HOLY SPIRIT many yrs. ago. M happy serving HIM. SEE you next yr., Karen.
Karen thank you soooo much for posting this video. I am almost in tears as I listen to your story. I have been in love with fashion like you it seems all my life. I have always wanted to work in it but never knew exactly how. In my early years I worked in retail for stores like Macy's and Bloomingdales that offered me opportunities to learn the Buying side of merchandising. Due to some life issues I derailed myself off that path. Now I'm a woman of a certain age with a youthful yet mature style and life outlook and my passion for fashion is still burning hot. It seems like more than ever. Especially watching some of new favorite Influencers such as yourself. Your style and life speaks volumes to me. I just love your joy for life and positive outlook. You and Michael are the cutest. I'm from NJ so I understand wanting to live NYC (although I can't wait to visit London). Manifestation is real. I know it. You know it. We all know it. You don't know how much you resonate with me. I have made two big mistakes with visualizations. One is questioning: "yes, but HOW is that supposed to happen?" The other is seeing what I visualized and not recognizing it for what it is. Thinking "this can't be it" and not grabbing the opportunity.
I really love it when you have these "ramblings" because I feel like I am talking to a real good friend. I am doing my best to manifest the best things ahead for this new year. Happy New year to you too Karen!

I completely resonate with what you mentioned about having a gut/emotional feeling of something you somehow magically know is going to happen. I've never thought of it as manifestation, but more as a vision/premonition type of thing
Yes, it's a vision or premonition, I thought the same, but how to manifest something that we don't have a vision of, that's the question, and is that meant to happen? Is there a manifestation or only things that are meant to, happen? I'm struggling with these thoughts :)

Hi Karen, I completely get this! I also have experience with manifestations with most little things too. And like you I would say wow so why can't I say I will win $1M or something really big and have it happen! But as you said it's done rather flippantly. People around me says it's time though I manifest something really big cause there have seen over and over how it happens with smaller things.
P:S like you I too explain it by saying "it" said to me....or I just know in my gut such and such will happen.

@Green Blue I believe they are 3 different things. I can manifest what I want happen by thinking about it/ and saying it out loud. I may have a vision/flash in my mind or dream and see something that will happen (good) and to me the premonition is that really strong feeling almost warning me that something (bad/unexpected) is going to happen. So yeah to me they're 3 different experiences.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video Karen. I too believe that I have manifested things in my life without me actually being aware of myself doing it. I am currently manifesting something big in my future. At the moment my husband is experiencing depression and as you say in your video is very negative and therefore we are having a lot of negative happenings in our life. I am always grateful of the things I have in my life and it’s very difficult to get others to think this way too. Happy new year! x

Love everything about your journey, Karen! I am always concerned when people make sense out of their own lives and is journey through this kind of lens. You worked your butt off to get where you are! Manifesting suggests that ANYONE can achieve whatever they set their mind to, which places blame on those who do not “succeed.” It’s a psychologically damaging stance for those who do not achieve what they set their minds to and is directly related to heightened shame. Setting goals, making healthy connections, taking chances are all healthy actions but this is not magic and requires a set of external circumstances (financial, interpersonal, location, etc) that provide the opportunity to foster these ideas.

Seven plus years ago I was divorced, broke, jobless and homeless with two little dogs. I was in my late forties and begging people (including my first husband) for a place to stay. One day walking the dogs I had a vision of me walking down a hall in an elementary school. I knew in my gut I would be working in a school. A year later I was. It happened again six months after I started working I had a vision of me buying my first home when I turned fifty. I actually signed the papers to my first (and current) home three weeks before I turned fifty. So, yes, it is a very real thing. Thank you for sharing this video. I also began to realise law of attraction was real through thrifting clothes and i dont think it's a silly thing at all. It's in the small things of everyday life that law of attraction is really tangible. I believe the intuition you had when you were young or the voice that you heard were messages from the Karen of the futur who was sending all the feeling of joy she is having for living those moments that were not yet written. I have never been very good with myself and have always been negative. But, listening to you on throwing the Good out in the Universe and what you say to yourself is a mirror, made me think. Wow I started tearing up too 🥺 This has to be a divinely channeled message because the way you described your early life almost exactly mirrors my current situation. I’ve been struggling trying to figure what I want to do with my career after graduating a few years ago with a marketing degree. I’m so glad you described your passion as “playing” with clothes because all I want in life is to feel like I’m playing as opposed to working; and I never felt like I was allowed to claim that openly without shame. I love fashion, beauty, art, design, culture, language, writing, curation, creating experiences and concept, but I have NO CLUE what that looks like as a career yet. I hate my current job, and I want to pay the bills, but the idea of going to a corporation feels like death. I’ve literally spent most of this year looking for a sign about where to go or what to do next and I think this message you channeled is the beginning of an answer 💗 thank you
I’ve also always had what I call “knowings” that show up as visions either through day dreams while I’m awake or vivid lucid dreams when I’m sleeping. I’ve dreamt about really important moments in my life months before they happened. It used to be really frightening as a kid but as an adult it’s soothing to know that human intuition is more powerful and more reliable then conventional wisdom would have you believe 🥳✨
I applaud you. My life has been all about manifestations. Through fear and anxiety I have been rewarded. It wasn't always straightforward but things happen. It keeps you positive and moving forward.

Karen never apologise! Your videos are such an inspiration to so many! You energy and passion always come shining through in your videos, you always make me smile! I’m still getting to grips with manifestation! But I do totally believe l, when you have that thought of thinking of someone and they call or you see them, and that inner knowing of your intuition or inner compass which is always guiding you! We all have it, we have just forgotten how to use it, or get distracted half the time!

I believe although I wasn’t realizing it called manifestation, I did indeed believe that my path in this world opened when I let go and let God, the universe whatever you want to call it, open amazing doors for me after years of negative thoughts and desperation. I made a choice to allow myself to receive the things I truly wanted, and indeed it has manifested and come to pass in my life! An amazing husband, a ranch in the country, the job i wanted and excel at, and a few luxury items 😉 and Wowwwww... what you say I can attest to. Even events in the world that are positive and good have come to pass. Believe wholeheartedly in oneself and have faith within and beyond because what you have said is very true. I’m living in a small town where everybody dress the same and I always felt “different” and love to express myself with clothes and fashion. Since I started watching ur content I started to dress the way it feels right for me and just be myself and just the feeling of walking down the street knowing that I’m loving what I’m wearing and that’s all what matters is amazing and I just started doing it because of you! Every time when I open a video of you and just hearing your voice and see how into fashion you are and how excited you get when you tell about stuff you bought and the way you’re gonna combine clothes is the most cutest thing.
