    What kind of steel rod did you use and where can i find it? Love the work!

      Thank you! It’s just 1/4 inch round bar, you can get it at any hardware store just about but I get it at a local steel distributor in a bulk lengths because it’s a little cheaper.

    What did you put on it at the end? Was it wax? And what purpose does it serve. I’m guessing rust prevention?

      You’re exactly right! It’s beeswax and it prevents rust and makes it a little darker.

      The anvil is siliconed down to a solid wood block as well as strapped down with metal straps which mutes a ton of the sound

      @@davidherberman3237 thanks i'll try that i live in household with baby and up on a hill so i cant make noise outside but i cant do it inside because its too loud hope this will help me
