2:44 I love the fact that Corsair drilled specific holes in the case to properly install the screws for the graphics card and everything plugged in the PCI-E slots. And he ignores them entirely and screws the screw at an angle. LOL
@@cassineslo895 I just got mine for 100$. I couldn't decide what to pick. Even considering 250$ cases but I decided to pick this one and mod it a bit for a better airflow :)
@@fatmitch1421 im having airflow issues right now. 240 rad mounted to front with a push pull having intake from the front. 2 exhaust up top and one in the back. im thinking of trying intake from top and back, with exhaust in front. How did you mod it for better airflow?? any suggestion is appreciated!
Realized that with my original setup, not enough fresh air in through that small triangle which caused it to pull hot air from the top of the case creating this heat cycle..
You can actually screw the 120/240 fans/Radiator on top in through the hexagon-holes. They all got the same distance from each other. This way you can put the radiator closer to the sidepanel and fit the mobo and ram with ease. I dont know if they did this on intention, but its a nice and easy solution.
Yikes. definitely not a fan especially at that price point. There are way to many better options. I don't see this case doing well when it gets stomped by cases in the 60$ price range. Just my opinion. Brian you made the best of a bad situation.
No mesh front panel? Just solid plastic? Just change this ONE thing and it makes the case A TON better. Also, 2 more fans. And making the motherboard part bigger for full size ATX motherboards.
Check out the Aerocool Quartz Case then: www.aerocool.com.tw/au/chssis/pgs-b/quartz-rgb. Of course, you won't have adressable RGB like the Corsairs. But you can link them to your motherboard or through the included hud (which is linkable to the motherboard with an USB 2.0 connection). Do you wish an extra fourth fan ? You can buy them seperated for only 15 USD.
I love this case. Ordered it for my 8086K build. I am going with the Corsair H100i Pro AIO for it, ordered two of the Corsair ML120 Pro RGB fans for it so I can have all 3 fan slots in the front filled. The case arrives tomorrow so pretty excited. Specs are i7-8086K ASUS Strix Z370-F 32Gb (4x8Gb) Gskill TridentZ RGB 3000MHz Samsung 970 EVO 1Tb SSD and ASUS Strix Vega64 with an EVGA P2 1000W PSU
I was going to order this right up till Lian li announced the Pc-011 Dynamic. The Lian Li gets delivered in the next few hours and I'm super excited to build in it.
I feel you 100% Yesman, the Air 540 is phenomenal. I purchased mine from an open box store for $25 USD and I haven't looked back. Used it to replace my H440
Don't you think that someone is missing the point when the Little Devil LD PC-V10 can act as a nice enclosure and cooling solution in one that can cool the CPU down to minus 70 degrees below zero.
May sound like a stupid question but if I buy this case will I have to buy additional fans to prevent overheating or will the 2 it comes with be enough?
I bought this same cabinet and I do not understand why at the beginning of a few seconds there is a loud noise (like a beep) that lasts until you turn off the PC, and it can not be. Does anyone know what it could be?
In order to obtain the pro fan controller alone. You almost have to spend $40 and you get light strips with it. Case comes with a built in strip. The Two HD fans that are included which I think are the best RGB fans and they can run at 1,725 rpm. You can do many different RGB effect with the software. Basically those Fans would cost you close to $30 a piece. $40+30+30 = $100 value. I do see the HD fans on E Bay are going for cheaper if you go that route. Cable management not much of an issue in this case but back panel room is too limited. I give this case overall for value and performance a 7/10. I would like more room for cable management. Built in straps would be nice for an even cleaner look. Allen screws for glass should be scrapped for thumb screws like on the Corsair crystal x570 which is the ultimate case I think for mid towers. I own a x570 build and built a spec Omega RGB for someone. Buy the x570 but be warned it's included fans and hub is junk. HD fans are the best fans. I have all 3 types.
First... ever Case looks EXTREMELY overpriced for what you get. Phanteks, Fractal, etc still doing it way better than Corsair when it comes to cases (IMO). I guess they were factoring $40 per fan which accounted for half the case cost LUL. Also cant believe it couldn't even fit a radiator/fan combo in the top. ID-Cooling AIO looks really nice though. Love my Deepcool Captain but I might have to give ID-Cooling a try.
Wait so it comes with the PSU/HDD Shroud or no? I heard from other reviews that it doesn't and if you got an OLD SHROUD form a old corsair PC laying around, it might fit but yeah. DOES IT COME WITH THE SHROUD? FOR ME IT'S A NO-BRAINER TO GET THE CASE IF THE SHROUD IS INCLUDED NOW. It wouldn't make sense for it not to at this point all promo images I've seen of it have it with the shroud, even CORSAIR'S own promo images on the product's page on their website!
If it'll be possible to replace the front glass with a mesh, it will be so much better, with much airflow. Do you think that it's possible anyway without destroying it?
not a bad case for the offerings..a bit pricey tho(more likely the rgb stuff makes it that) was thinking of getting the spec alpha of that case a wile back but the shape of the front is a bit outside my liking..so im kinda looking at the coolermaster masterbox 5. keep up the good work Brian :D
I understand that thermals are not the best however would this case be best used with a Blower style gpu since it would be blowing the heat out of the case?
I ran into the same issues when building in this case. Was frustrated that I had to mount my AIO on the front because of the ram in the way. It's way smaller than I thought it would be and my setup is so snug
Hey I have just completed a similar build to your recent i3-8100 build. Just a question on what monitor is best efficient with the build and also where can I buy it from here in Brisbane ?
Random question. I'm building a xfx x58i mobo with a i7 920 on it and I'm stuck on NVRAM read, code 61. Any ideas since you have a ton of experience with the x58 chipset?
This doesn’t come with the Corsair Commander it’s just the control box for the rgb fans. I know that this is a small mistake but some people might expect something that they won’t get.
All they did was add a psu shroud and rgb fans to the Spec Omega and doubled it's price. I think this case could of been potentially a lot better if the front panel was the same exact form, but instead it was completely mesh in two different colors for each side and also if they did the same for the top panel. I think another thing they should have done was make this case slightly larger to accommodate for installing 240/280/360 radiators in push pull configs at the both the front and top of the case, as well have more space for cable management in the back and finally to put the cherry top make the psu shroud have an rgb corsair logo. If they did all that this case would be well priced at $150 but as of now you might as well go spend another $30 and get yourself a 570x.
Way to expensive i think u should only need like a 60 dollar case lol ive got the phanteks p300 and it has everything that case has exept the fans luv u tho
I'm running the Deepcool D-Shield (v1.0) and love it. Sure its got an acrylic window and no tempered glass, but is one of the better looking and more functional budget cases IMO. Very easy to work with, very well priced.
Guys, I need your advice on how useful is a Corsair H110i v2 not properly cooling (someone in my city is selling one for $25USD, fans included), probably damaged pump. Can the radiator be useful (if capable replacing hoses) for an open loop cooling solution?
Btw, the purpose is for getting a Poseidon GTX 980ti (Hybrid cooling, air and water) so I can make that mix for really super low budget. The open loop pump I can buy it separately with a friend.
Do you think that this case would work good with 8700k at 5Ghz with 360 front rad? Im about to build a new PC, and was think in this case with mb gigabyte gaming 5 or 7, and gtx 1080Ti.
Some say the air flow is bad and they have high temperature. Some say the air flow is decent-good with good temperature so idk how to answer your question lol
2:44 I love the fact that Corsair drilled specific holes in the case to properly install the screws for the graphics card and everything plugged in the PCI-E slots.
And he ignores them entirely and screws the screw at an angle. LOL
The $160 price point comes with the Corsair Node Pro controller. That itself is about $80 with the RGB strips.
when was the case $160 I keep finding this case at around $90
Glassy he’s talking about the rgb version of the case

I think it looks pretty solid, nice white and black build mate.
Definitely the most beautiful case for standard ATX cases
Yikes. definitely not a fan especially at that price point. There are way to many better options. I don't see this case doing well when it gets stomped by cases in the 60$ price range. Just my opinion. Brian you made the best of a bad situation.
Yeah I think they need to include more fans for sure at this price point.
Umm looks like they are reusing the Corsair RX460 case frame ;p
No mesh front panel? Just solid plastic? Just change this ONE thing and it makes the case A TON better. Also, 2 more fans. And making the motherboard part bigger for full size ATX motherboards.

You saved me a whole lot of time trying to place rad on the top, thanks

I was already worried about the fans, your review confirms my suspicions. Thanks!
Thank you so much this helped a lot
This case is really really beautiful :D
my first build I used a corsair spec 2. was a ok case but taught me some lessons when choosing my next case.
Does it come with a led strip?
i love it when he just rams the side panel on xD
I have the case myself with a 360 rad in front a 2070 super and a 3800x 8 core ryzen 7. Works pretty good
The title is missing the word 'cash' at the end.
Mihir Kumar It makes sense. You can just say your hard earned
Matt G I guess that would make sense too
Dont think so
It's a great case! My temps are low and so is the graphic card temps low if you put the fans and radiator in the right place! Love it!!
How you put your fans etc? Can you send photos?
I have a question, for the RGB Fans do you connect it to the motherboard of that Hub looking socket around 5:18?
Nice case, looks like a Lan center team case, a diff color for each squad.
Thanks for the vid! Enjoy Computex!
I'm not into the sealed front+glass side cases. this one looks kinda cheap and 2007-ish.
8:12 GASP!
I know this is unrelated but I love your accent
Why you didn't use white sleeving cable color? It will looked more beautiful
Don't you think that someone is missing the point when the Little Devil LD PC-V10 can act as a nice enclosure and cooling solution in one that can cool the CPU down to minus 70 degrees below zero.
I was looking at getting this case, but I thought it was a lot bigger than it actually is
Sooooooo can you have a extra fan for your liquid cooling? Cause it looks like you have space for one more
Spec Omega looks ok, will keep on my radar if they reduce the price a little.
I have problem with the front light. Suddenly the front light only light up half way. Do you know have to fix? Thank you
If you're not going with an all in one cooler, can you install more fans in the front of the case?
i have one complaint with this that brain didnt mention. the clips that hold the front panel on arent very strong and the middle clip broke off
May sound like a stupid question but if I buy this case will I have to buy additional fans to prevent overheating or will the 2 it comes with be enough?
I'm bulding one but the fans aren't working any idea why?
That thing is based on the 400c? I would have expected it to be based on the spec alpha
bottom front fan as intake into the case, then the rad fans are pushing out the front rather than pulling in?
I bought this same cabinet and I do not understand why at the beginning of a few seconds there is a loud noise (like a beep) that lasts until you turn off the PC, and it can not be. Does anyone know what it could be?
Hi Brain.
I doubt you'll see this brand in Australia but in Asia there's a brand called Tecware & Segotep. 2 brands with good bang for money
Like the color scheme!
Hi there, I would like to know how loud the fans are when gaming with this case?
4:00 My NZXT Phantom white has that problem, I had to mount the rad outside under the top cover 😅
Feels frankenstein but thankfully it works

i subbed great video
Says theres no space for cable management.
Litteraly just stuffs wires into the case and does no mangeing whatsoever.
Makes sense.
Hey Great video and on plus side you found your Glasses ----- Thanks --- Also First 65 or Older
And here I am with my old Fractal Design R3... Anyone know where I can get a custom glass panel for it?
Is a 280x worth 40$?
My rear fan doesn't turn on :(
The fact that you can get a Fractal Design case with better cable management and tempered glass side panels for under $150 AUD, I'd rather that tbh
can you change the colors of the RGB fan to like a aqua blue? Or a certain color or does it just do rainbow?
You can change the color to whatever you like in the software
How do I remove the front panel?
So no intake fans? Doesnt seem right
How many usb that case has?
OR! get the cheaper option (red case) and just vinyl wrap over the red part.

It's a case not a full pc
Sir, What are differences between spec-Omega and spec-Omega RGB? I could figure out price(RGB is more expensive.. about 80$?) What else?
조선생 it has RGB
there's a way to turn off the front light? i mean if i watch a movie can i switch off the lights?
Yes, using the software
Do you think the Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H100i Pro will fit on the top of the case
TieMan yes it does
Wait... You live in Aus right
Is it a pc or just a case?
i have a question, i have a 1070ti strix can it fit in there pls help
In my view,
Why not choose a Corsair PSU rather than a Cooler Master PSU?
Does the pc have an hdmi port to plug in the monitor because I didn’t see one
Yes it does I had it before now i have a 8Pack OrionX
lol omg Luv omg thx
what about ill-tempered glass?
Will a RTX 2080 fit??
Just asking. Is it good for like csgo and is it Sn high fps Pc?
Who thinks Bryan should build more rgb PC builds
love my corsair spec 02
Oh damn bryan has the sponsor button
Perfect I plan on running a 1070 and a i5 9600k inside the one
What about its air flowing
Is it good
Or high temperature
Some say the air flow is bad and they have high temperature. Some say the air flow is decent-good with good temperature so
idk how to answer your question lol
