I just got one of these from Long and McQuade! It's the perfect combination of modern features, and playability and vintage Strat tones and aesthetics! I had the choice of White or Sonic Blue and went with the classic white-- it just looked better in person. My search for the perfect Stratocaster ends here!! Fender nailed it with this one!!
I got the fiesta Red one, at first I thought I had made a poor choice but little did I know I had just made one of the best choices I ever made. I have come to love it and it’s my main gigging guitar now definitely recommend this guitar it’s a limited edition for a reason!
Just saw one in the local store, though that one is branded as a guitar guitar special run . Exactly the same as the one being demoed and way light . A/B it against a bunch of 2nd hand suhr/ fender cs / prs j.mayer , and it was NOT out of place . Very good guitar. Great demo 👍
I just got this guitar yesterday, and the neck and pickups are insane. Best sounding strat pickups ive ever played, and the neck gives my hands an orgasm. Mine is also very light. Wow.
The Ultra II line is the latest from Fender. The Pro II isn't being discontinued as of now, and based on the pattern Fender has established, we can probably expect a Performer II to come out soon as that's one of the last in the core lineup that's still v1. "Core" as in ignoring the Plus and Modified versions in other series.
@@julianrizzo7195 We did the research, and we are not wrong. This guitar and every other Am Pro II Strat is 9.5" radius. We've confirmed this directly with Fender.
wow not a single store in Quebec has them stock. not that I can afford it but come on Fender month? very dispointing promotion, full page Player II no stock in stores ... no rebates basically on any instruments.
Hi Louis, this is a Limited Edition model. We have limited stock and we are still expecting more stock to arrive. Quebec should be receiving their stock soon. There are only 125 of the Olympic White for all of Canada, so that works out to 1 per store and 2 per store in larger markets like Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, etc. The other colours like Fiesta Red, Sonic Blue and Shell Pink are even more limited, at 25 each. So far, we've received a total of 56 pieces of the limited run of 200. For anyone who is interested in getting one, we recommend they call their local store and put it on hold before they even arrive. Customers have started putting them on hold, and they may have already claimed the only one destined for the store in their city. As for the Player II Series, like all new products, it takes time for the stock to show up in full force in our stores. Fender has decided to release the Player II series in phases. We have some of the Strat, Tele, P & J bass models in-stock already, with the offset models and the chambered ash and chambered mahogany body options to be released in phase 2 later in August. Fender Month has never been a "sale" with special pricing. It is primarily an interest-free financing promotion, which helps people afford them, as you alluded to in your comment. On top of 0% financing, we release Limited Edition or Exclusive models like this one, the 70th Anniversary Strats, and have more exclusive models coming from Grestch and Jackson. We have $100 - $200 gift cards included with certain brands/models, rental specials, contests and exclusive L&M Insider offers and contests.
I just picked it up today at Long & McQuade, I love the roasted maple neck and the pickup has a nice woody, warm yet bright clean tone :)
Congrats we hope you love it for a lifetime!!

this is tempting.
That colour combination is amazing!
I'm picking this guitar up this weekend. It's the best Strat short of the Custom Shop.

We're so happy to hear!
Is there a new series of fenders like pro iii or something coming out ?. All the pro ii’s are currently heavily discounted in lots of stores.

I assume the radius is 9.5"
Correct, the same as all other Am Pro IIs.
Wrong. Do the research. It's 11in.

There’s a GT11 version on Sweetwater that he must be confused with. The GT11 is 11 inch radius
@@julianrizzo7195this is not the GT11 edition. You confused.

@@longandmcquade thanks for your response.
So, you complained about something you don't even intend to buy? Class.
