Put an old t -shirt that you slept in with your scent on it will help.
Tie the old t-shirt into rope knots.
Put it in the sleep area when you leave for extended periods.
Make at least two or three of the Crys scent t- shirts.
Also, invest in a metal tray to put under the puppy cage to protect your wood flooring.

You may want to get a separate crate for him. Most pups will not poop where they sleep but he is still learning. If you crate train him it would be better when you are gone and it will teach him how to hold himself so that when you do take him out to use the bathroom he will get used to it. Some people don't like crate training because they think it is cruel but it will actually help him in the long run. Just do your research on this because I am no expert. I had a teeny chihuahua who was too bougie to go outside to potty so she would use her puppy pads which were placed in the same location in the house. And her bougie tail would never use the bathroom more than 2 times on the pad. You make me want to get another pup but I am a recent empty nester and I don't want the responsibility just yet lol. But you are doing a great job with him♥

Agreed, I’m no expert either but from the two puppies I’ve trained - leaving them with too much space just left more room for accidents, it wasn’t until i got a traveling crate that had just enough room for them to lay down and turn around that the accidents stopped, because like she said- dogs usually don’t like to potty where they sleep. You’re doing great with him! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Yes. Crate training helps with potty training because, like you said, they don't like going to the bathroom where they sleep...it will teach them to hold it.
At his age he physically can't hold it. You can't fully potty train a dog until 6M.

I don’t even go to McDonald’s anymore the service is horrendous. They never have what you want and the ice cream machine is always down. And you wait forever for your order and don’t even try to go after 8pm since the pandemic. They’re open…but closed. Like they won’t even answer the drive thru

Food looks good! 😊 I recently got a puppy as well at 8 wks & luckily the breeder already pad trained him. I crate train him & he goes only in 3 certain places in my house. Also when I leave him alone I play dog music on RUclips to help with anxiety. So far he has done well with that. He will be 12 weeks Mon & whew it has been alot lol! But all worth it. Hang in there sis. 🤗🤎

Use an actual crate
They can’t have a lot of space
The more space they have they worst it’ll be
Smaller the area the better for training him

I agree. I have 2 grand dogs and I’m watching nervously worried about Benji being alone for several hours hoping he’s okay. I know he has a good mom but he’s a pup.
Yes, they have to be crate trained first and foremost then graduate to more freedom while mom is away.

I was just about to say that toy poodles will make you mad by intentionally peeing and pooping because they like human contact 24z when you leave for too long they get anxious and get into stuff easily. I’m supper hype to see you with Raven I love y’all both ! Love love love it !!! Also may suggest getting a camera to watch him while your away and see what he’s getting into.
I use the turkey roasting bags, no dishes, just throw the bag away when you're done.
Washable pads on Amazon saved me money and I lay pads on floor inside his pen this will save your floors tfs👍🏾💕✌🏾

Poodles are stubborn. I've had 3 poodles and they all had that stubborn personality. He is still small, learning, and sees you as his mom. So he probably has separating anxiety as well. Patience will help you too ❤

I eat dessert first if I want to try it alot now. Most of the time I take leftovers. And for some reason eating dessert first triggers me to want savory stuff. So I'm ready to get my entree after the sweet. Waiters get confused when I order dessert first. It's always so funny to see their reaction.
