Thanks a lot for the video. It will help me greatly to automate the data treatment for sweep of parameters resulting in more than 3000 results. Just if people have issues using the pip command, I had to use pip3 instead of pip to run the command.
Thanks for this good and useful video.I have a question regarding plot function. Is it possible to plot a model function (Temperature, velocity, flux, etc.) using python (i.e., MPH package) ?
I have been using COMSOL with Matlab for a long period. I have always had a penchant for using Python with Comsol. However, I checked the package. Why I feel, just too few funs available. Also, since the model cannot be saved as .py file, not like .m file, it's not easy to fully automatize the simulation. What do u think?
Remember that its not a "official" solution. Its a workaround for the Java commands. So you can't expect complete automation say like ansys (they officially have python package). For example you don't need .py file if you only goal is to feed a particular parameters value and export the end result without modifying the model. That is a good real use case of this.
Thank you. I have a problem. I tried to import a dxf file using this method but I get an error that the property is unknown. do know where the problem might be? model.modelNode().create("comp1"); model.geom().create("geom1", 2); model.geom("geom1").feature().create("imp1", "Import"); model.geom("geom1").feature("imp1").set("filename", dxf_file); model.geom("geom1").feature("imp1").set("repairgeom", "on"); model.geom("geom1").feature("imp1").set("convert", "off"); I get an error for "convert", and everything else is working correctly :(

Very interesting, many thanks for the valuable file
Awesome! one question, is that possible to import stp geometry with this library ?
Yes but maynot be straight forward.
great work
Thank you! Cheers!

Its hard to understand with this information.
@@LearnwithBK No worries, I've already found it. The manual has the problem. The correct command is "knit" not "convert".
Thanks anyway.
please make some beggining lacture comsol multiphysics with connected to Python
Ok. Noted ..will make it soon
Thank you so much
You're most welcome.
can we derectly connect Comsol file with python in Google Colab ?
I don't think that is possible directly. With server version it might be possible but I don't have access to it.
Thank you
