As a matter of fact, I’ve seen these covers by a few youtubers over the last few weeks. The price point is too high, looks like an awesome package though.
All of the lights on the AsteraBox flash on for 5 seconds then off for 5 seconds until the box dies, that is it's only function, do you know what is wrong with it?
Thank you homie! So I use the aputure tri 8 and it's actually really solid! Pair that with some cheap diffusion and you got yourself some gorgeous light!
Glad people are finally talking about these lights! I have used them in a music video and they are fantastic! would you consider doing a more in depth video on the app? Thanks!
I’ve been looking into both the AX1 and Titan tubes. In your opinion, are the titan tubes worth twice the price, or do you think it’s better to get twice as many tubes for the same price if I went AX1. Thanks so much for the help!
Hey man! Personally I would just get more of the AX1's. I'm also just a poor boy tho. If money isn't a worry, the Titan's are really stinkin bright and overall easier to use. AX1's still rule tho.
Quick question, I'm thinking about getting the Digitalfoto P120 light tubes. They're 36mm and the Astera AX1's are about 40mm. Do you think this case would work with these tubes or would they be too thin to fit?
Hi I'm a stage lighting designer for theater, concert or some event . I want to ask which tubes are better for these kind of show ? I always use the DMX to control the light.
What lights have you guys been using for your video projects??
120D, and the big ol sun dude. I need to get some of these tho! And some of those flexi LED panels!
Zachariah Mayfield quasars right now, with LED panels. Nothing major, looking at these two now but I mainly choose affordable light setups.
My iPhone camera light
Mostly LED, I had no idea tubes like that existed!
keep moving brother

The11thPower the rent is too damn high. But yes you could get 20 quasar tubes at that point and the gels to go with them.

@zach did you color grade this video? i love the look
AX1 vs the Titan...is the Titan worth double the price for the features?
For a second I was like “how do you know my sisters name? Oh wait umm yeah the light tube... BUT HOW DID YOU SAY IT RIGHT”
love the vids man, any recomendations on a cheap dslr light to start off with?

Right? These things are crazy. Maybe I can get Astera to send me some stuff to make another vid 😬
Legit review guys, great job! Appreciate the shoutout for RST Visions as well!
Thank you dude, we had so much fun shooting it! And no doubt brother!

Do the ax1s have some sort of flicker effect, or am I tripping?
If I get 2 astera ax1 could I just buy the $20 controller they sell to change colors and patterns or will I need to get the $400 box you showed?
all you need to use your phone as a controller is the bluetooth astera box!

This review was amazing guys!!
Yo thank you so much! Such a blast working with these lights
Cool I need to check on these lights for my shoots
Heck yeah do it! You'll be pleasantly surprised

I'm thinking of renting these, I need to mount it onto a wall do you recommend using heavy duty velcro?
Yes for sure. It'll hold all day no problem!
Dude, Zach, your videos are so good. A perfect blend of entertaining and informative. On behalf of all filmmakers out there, thank you.
Zach is going to be a popping RUclipsd in a year. Possibly less, great great video!
Hey I really appreciate that! I'm just gonna work my little tail off and make it happen!
great light man, I'm thinking to get it actually, i just start my channel for two month and i think it could help me to increase my lighting quality
Well I definitely recommend it! Even if you just got 1 or 2 you can do so much with them.
Where can I see that Dayseeker video?
Fav video on your channel so far 😂 now all I need is $4k to get a proper set of these haha
Bro yeah they're pretty pricey. I'm definitely just thinking about snagging 1 or 2. They're just so dang portable so it's worth it for me.
@@ZachMayfield especially because you do music videos.. I just do weddings so I don't see myself using them
Those are awesome lights!
Right?? So much fun
IM OBSESSED
Dude yeah they are wilddddd
1:27 deserves the like xD That shit made me laugh irl
hahaha yess thank you!
I was dying lmao
Drooling till I heard the price. best go for the Quasar Science or the Yongnuo YN360
Dude yeah. Kinda pricey but so sick
can titan power by v mount ? just like quarsa science does ?
I don't think so, just the internal battery. They last a long time
Awesome vid
Thank ya dude, it was very fun to make!
Love the Astera tube lights. But me as a starting out film maker cannot afford to spend $5000.00 to buy one of their kits.
rather than use the remote to control them for an entire day of lighting.... why not use DMX???
Wow
Hello su geçiriyormu
Nooooo, the old photo was better!)))
it matched the idea of filmmaking being fun))
nice!
This is so corny. I love it! :-D
hehe thank ya
Sub’d!
Dude thank you!
That’s a lot of money in that case 😯
For reeeeeeeaaaal. Luckily we can rent hahaha
So they’re better than Quasars ?
Personally I don't have a ton of experience with Quasars. The Asteras are just so dang feature rich and make set life VERY simple, which is vital.
@@ZachMayfield AGREED !!
That’s a lot of money for a single light
For sure man. There's other affordable options for sure, these babies are super pro tho
$4000 right? :-)
It’s real pricey for the full set, but you can either buy solo tubes or rent out the set to make money back!
