How is it that so many do not know what title IX is and what it is for. It is not so women can play on a men's sport teams or for a man to play on a female's sport teams. Women's sports are not for females if men are going to allowed to play on a female's team. As is the case for the boy playing in the girl's little league softball world series. As was the case when TN allowed for a boy to play softball back in 2007, making it all the way to the WCWS final. Or was the case when Butos was allowed to play on the UCLA softball team for 4 years, hailed as one of their all time great female softball players even thou he is a man.
