Awesome video Mr Toy Rush. Excellent display keeping it nice and simple not over cluttered. Your display techniques are really well done I'm definitely not medium rare.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Awesome collection 👌 nice to see a new vintage star wars collection on utube think ive watched everyone great to have new !! Feel free to do more on your collection

@@VintageToyRush Feel free to check out my latest collection video in my channel mate. Let me know if you like it, very curious what you think mate. Roy
Hi Dave, ur collection is amazing! The backdrops add in was a very artsy way of displaying all ur figures & boxed items. I hope u enjoy the very scarce content on my fledgling channel. Sincerely, Jav...
Bloke that is one awesome collection. I have mostly modern stuff but my vintage collection is growing. I did the same with my POTF slave Leia. She's standing on Jabbas throne next to him. I also have my Kenner Imperial dignitary posed with the two modern ones by Hasbro which came out in around 2003. If there's no vintage option I don't mind posing vintage with modern figures.
Thanks!! Yeah, no issue with mixing vintage and modern. In fact, I just replaced my Leia with a Kenner look and feel one from Stan Solo www.etsy.com/uk/listing/945135021/read-discription-pre-order-custom-figure?click_key=a8e4cbe58e373e79450b61776b0129abf8e40474%3A945135021&click_sum=5a5731b7&ref=shop_home_active_3&crt=1 - looks great beside Jabba! Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Awesome Dave, love how you use those beautiful Annual covers as a backdrop👌🏼My wife - who doesn’t like SW - has only allowed me a single display case in a small corner of the house, which houses my vehicles & mocs. Recently got a separate display cabinet for my loose, which she reluctantly agreed to😄Great vid👍🏻👍🏻
Great display Dave and a lovely collection. Love the space you have ie a whole room! Whilst at the same time very envious of it! Might have to go against my whole vintage ethics and purchase a slave Leia. Looks much more in scale than I thought she was.
It's this one on ebay www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Star-Wars-Power-of-the-Force-Princess-Leia-Organa-as-Jabbas-Prisoner/383638495529?hash=item5952a2e129:g:iDkAAOSwFJ1fEu8h
Your collection would be vastly improved if you sent it all to me lol 😂 Really good to see a collection in such good condition and displayed so carefully, it looks amazing. So jealous! Love the channel sir
I must say that you have a very wonderful collection! Toy Polloi mentioned you on a post, and I thought I'd check out your channel. After watching a few videos, I decided to subscribe, I'm happy to report. :) I have all the figures from the first three films, minus Jabba and his band. In addition I have a couple extra C-3POs, the variant Han Solo, the large Snaggletooth, a few extra R5D4s, and no less than 26 extra original R2D2s (1977) that I've restored over the years. I have only some of the vehicles. I restored an X-Wing and a Millennium Falcon, and I still have the Death Star Station with the box. I have a Landspeeder, Imperial Troop Carrier, an AT-ST, Wampa, Rancor, and a Dewback (minus his reigns). I would love to get more of the vehicles, but it's really tough to collect original STAR WARS figures these days due to the high prices. Slowly but surely, I'm getting back the remaining figures and vehicles that I'd like to have in my collection, but it's going to be a while before I can get some of the more difficult pieces.
Thanks for coming over and subscribing. I really appreciate that! Sounds like you an amazing collection too. The Millennium Falcon is one of my favourite vehicles but have yet to find one. As you say, it's difficult to collect original Star Wars these days - it's not just the price but also the space, but collecting over time is all part of the fun!
Amazing display Dave, some of those boxed items, particularly Dewback and Landspeeder, just wow! Love how you've put the vid together too, top stuff 👍🏻
Luke didn't believe the things Yoda told him about his youger years. To prove Luke wrong, Yoda jumped onto a Wampa and went to go battle a Rancor. Luke's jaw dropped as Yoda shouted "Size matters not, that's why you fail"
Thank you!! All the music on my videos are from the RUclips audio library - it's a great resource and no copyright issues 👍 Thanks for the subscribe, really appreciate it 🙏
Nice set up. Not sure how to feel on fan made kenner style figures but there are a couple coming out with the jabba prisoner leia. If you decide your collection needs a more fitting leis check out stan solo on etsy or TheFansStrikeBake at their website.
Great video Boris! (only joking, you have a great presenting style). How long has it taken to build up your collection? I am a pretty fair-weather collector, building on my childhood toys. My main aim is to collect all the original (loose) figures complete with original accessories. Cheers.
Thanks!! 🙏 I'm a relative newcomer to building a vintage toy collection, about 7 years now!! Collecting the loose figures is a great target to have - it's fun hunting them all down and trying to not to pay an arm and a leg 🤣 Cheers!! 👍
I have a question: How do UK collectors feel about the lack of electronic features offered with Kenner vs Palitoy? Do you try to collect Kenner because of the features, or prefer Palitoy because of the nostalgia? I would love to cross-collect just a few things like the Palitoy Death Star just for its uniqueness!
What a great question! UK collectors have strong nostalgia for Palitoy - anything with that logo is very much desired, even outside the UK. I don't think the lack of electronics really makes a difference, but as collectors, of course, collecting variants is appealing, and Kenner is always going to be the definitive version :) So you will find UK collectors with a mix of both versions e.g. the Palitoy and Kenner death star and X-Wing. I do know of US collectors after Palitoy versions. The Palitoy Death Star is sought after and can go for quite some money in good condition 👍
Absolutely beautiful classic Kenner Star Wars collection and displays.
Thanks Michael!! 🙏

That's cool you added a modern Star Wars Slave Leia figure to your Jabba The Hutt throne room display! Love the minirigs! :)
