I like her, but she looks way to much like Julie. they should've done one completely different looks such as freckles, strawberry blonde hair, and a new face mold. however, for the GOTY 2022, we need a doll with the JLY #4 facemold, because I just adore it so much and it would giver her more diversity.

Mixed feelings here, good story, and cute doll, but yes, I'm surprised that AG did not come out with a doll of color. They seem to be out of touch with that. I'm tempted, though, got to admit.
im quite disappointed with the lack of diversity. she honestly is just blaire with bleached hair haha. but she is very cute if i do say! im loving all of her items and her outfits. all of the animals are adorable as well. great video as always!

As an Australian myself I can tell you that I'm pretty confident that the animal that comes with the crate and cart is not a koala, it is in fact a wombat!!
The doll looks so gorgeous, but I feel like AG can do better...l mean...she looks like Julie but with wavy hair and different eye brows; but I don’t hate her😊 (plz dont judge me for having a different opinion than yours)

This doll is so disappointing to me. To me shes a cut rate julie and a cut rate lea too. They really could have done something different. At least give her a different face mold to julie or something.
I think she *looks* cute, but honestly her story is definitely too similar to Lea's from what I can see. I'm still over here screaming for a novel-writer GotY though heh.
kinda weird to me that she’s an Australian doll when they could have released one to do with the Californian wildfires and be an *american* girl... plus all her sets are just recycled items from past years... they need some original ideas.

I really hope we get another doll of color! I actually didn’t like Gabriella only because American girl was lazy and made her a dancer just like Isabell they had never copied before it seems weird that the first time they would copy it with the first black girl of the year.
I see what you’re saying but I read Gabriella’s book and she did tap unlike Isabelle which is quite different than ballet. But she also focuses a lot on spoken word poetry(I feel like she was more into it than dance but I could be wrong I haven’t read the book since 2017)and overcoming her stutter through it. I also liked that that was part of her story because I when I was younger I would go to speech classes for stuttering.

Nice video 👍🏻 I believe those are tiny hair ties. She does look like Julie but I think she’s cute because I love Julie as well. The hut reminds me of Leah Clark’s rainforest house but it’s different but same concept. Anyways I’ll be buying her as well as part of my AG doll collection ☺️

But when you think about it, all of Courtney’s collection is totally 80’s, anyone can tell. I guess it just isn’t completely accurate. Thanks for noticing that!
Since they’re doing a vet I hope they do a nurse/doctor/surgeon. Also they should have a doll named Lexie, it’s a really beautiful name and they haven’t used it before. (And yes I’m a greys fan)

Kira is beautiful, if you all want docs you are going to get tons of them by 2022, Ag promised this, so let us enjoy the last of the Josefina and Classic facemolds we will be seeing for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if ag tanked after this, is not only woke youtubers buying these dolls.
All of your comments under this video just shows how biased you are, and you seem to be very racist just because you sound so against dolls of color. It’s hard to keep people of a certain demographic interested in something if you never reach out to that group of people. It’s not fair that little black, Hispanic, Asian, and any other girls/boys of color have to pay an extra $90 to create a doll that truly looks like them. I just can’t wait till the new contemporary line comes out. If AG actually sat down and thought out every single last outfit, doll, and accessory and not recycle the whole collection……….. I’m sure it will sale very very well. Lastly yes!! While it is true that “Little white girls” want a doll that looks like them, they also want the doll that looks like them to have friends and from my experience in working in retail they have a parent like you who suggest that they get a white one instead because the other one isn’t as pretty. It’s people like you that sit back and allow stuff to happen in front of you that will lead to a company failing. Not the people who actually push for diversity and will help bring in new groups of people to spend even more money because they actually care about about the company and just want AG to show they care.
I wish they had a nice dress in her collection (like Grace and Blaire had). I usually buy ONE item from the DOTY collection, but I haven't purchased anything since Blaire. Maybe they will add to it mid year. *fingers crossed* I also see the collection as very similar to Lea Clark with it's "wilderness" theme.

I find all the anti-blonde hair comments offensive. I have natural blonde hair similar to the color of this doll. My daughter has been getting American Girl stuff for three years and there hasn't been an American Girl DOTY available during this time with blonde hair. And looking at the previous ones not for a long time. Really it is quite disturbing the hatred people have towards others. Really every other natural color of hair has been a GOTY since the last blonde haired one.

I wish she had blue eyes do you know how hard it is to find a blonde hair blue-eyed doll at American girl my daughter cried because they were all sold out when we went to the store I know you can find them online but she really wanted to pick one out in the store and they were completely sold out so I think they should come out with another blonde haired blue eyed doll I’m disappointed she has brown eyes. My daughter ended up settling on Julie but cried when she Unboxed her and realized she had brown eyes. They already have a lot of blonde haired blue eyed dolls at American girl, the store you went to was probably just sold out due to it being close to the holidays. No disrespect but in my opinion I believe that American girl should make more dolls of color or dolls with the Jess face mold.
