Seeing Sera admitting that was wrong about everything, her past especially about Lucifer, seeing Sir Pentious doing his best to comfort her, taking responsibility for Adam, & willing to change with everyone in this video got me to cry hard 😢 😭 ❤
2:30 The way Lucifer smiled at Sera when he was cast out of heaven made me cry, because Lucifer and Sera still loved each other as mother and son...T^T
and perhaps Lucifer along with Michael who would be his identical twin brother would be the last angels to be created directly by God and the most powerful, but God was an extremely busy father and left him as their nanny.
I love this song! It shows the idea that if Emily falls,(which she prob will) that Sera isn’t just gonna be “oh well, she deserved it for trying to show heaven the truth.” Sera will actually grieve and be devastated for the fall of another angel she lost. I also kinda hate how people overlook the reason Sera allowed the extermination. Think about it. What would YOU do if the opposite team of your people could easily rise and kill “innocent” souls? Just let it happen? Remember guys, Sera is literally responsible for heaven. She has to protect it if it’s the whole purpose for her character. Yeah, she’s seen as a villain in hell’s eyes, but she only allows it to protect her people. All the pressure is going on her and she is the person people look up to. She wouldn’t just ruin heaven’s history. Sera has feelings too and isn’t doing the extermination for funsies👍
You have a very good argument but we don't even know if the demons of Hell can get to Heaven in the first place Lucifer might be able to make portals we don't know for sure.
I love this so much!!! Sera is actually such an interesting character, with who you could do so much. But I'm afraid that it's likely were not going to get such a deep look into her past because of the limited episodes, but for that we have MilkyyMelodies ~
Ugh, that smile Lucifer gave Sera right before he fell *hurt.* Honestly, I love how a lot of the ideas you put into these videos could actually make believable sense in the canon show! I genuinely think that there's more to Sera that we've seen so far and I'm excited to see where her character goes!
1:46 - 1:49 Is it possible that Sera was more than a friend to Lucifer? Maybe she believed in the Lucifer’s idea of redemption but feared falling because the others wanted her to understand their view. I could also tell that Sera really did care about Lucifer and he didn’t seem to be mad or hold any hatred towards her. He seemed to be understanding of what was going through Sera’s mind. Maybe in season 2 we’ll be able to see more of Sera and she’ll be able to help sinners redeem since I can tell that when she looks at Pentious and Emily, she sees herself and Lucifer, someone who was a friend and filled her life with happiness and joy. This really tugged at my heart since I could tell that Sera was a person who wanted to help Lucifer and his idea but was afraid so hopefully Charlie and Emily will be able to help Sera join their cause.
Personally I think it was less of a "Lucifer wanted redemption" and more of a "When Sera looked at Charlie all she saw was Lucifer." Lucifer also had big ideas, and it wouldn't necessarily need to be a perfect match for Sera to see Charlie and Lucifer as one in the same.
I’m willing to give Sera the benefit of the doubt that she might turn things around as the show progresses. That being said she’s got a lot to make up for, and above all we need to hear her admit she was wrong.
I’ve noticed a lot of people believe that Sera is going to ‘ramp up’ the exterminations based of her reaction to seeing Sir Pentious. Tho to be honest , her reaction is quite vague since she is just shown to be shocked. It would be a bit funny if at the begin of season 2, it’s revealed seeing Sir Pentious has led to her now supporting the hotel and admitting the exterminations were wrong.
@@akilelawless8460 She definitely isn’t an outright ‘evil’ characters. However, I do have a feeling if Sera does cast Emily out, her reception form the fans is gonna be……well………Pink Diamond 2.0 (Not an evil character, but one who is gonna be really hated)
@@akilelawless8460 I think a lot of people are assuming the worst just because Sera’s only higher up we’ve seen at heaven so she’s taking most of the blame for their hypocrisies. Also let’s not sugarcoat it, she didn’t exactly have a great first impression. But yeah, as of now I do think it’s entirely possible for her to turn things around.
@@Senwa_Zenno I do think there’s a possibility of her going that way as well, she’s definitely at a crossroad of her character and a lot of where she ends up is gonna depend on how she handles Pentious.
I loved this video, I would love for the next season to have this type of development, to explain why she is so staunch with her ideals, to explain why she allowed the extermination, to explain why she is so protective of Emily, and for her to have this type of redemption realizing her mistakes.
It's actually quite fascinating to see Sera begin to realize that Charlie was right about the sinners being redeemed. Very beautiful music, Milkyy! Sera is a very miraculous singer! 🎵🎶❤🧡💛💕👍🏻
Agreed. This feels more accurate for her character than everyone saying she is evil. She ain't evil she just made the wrong decisions and actually shows regret and remorse
What I find interesting is that technically Adam and Lucifer agree that sinners are horrible. Both are disillusioned, Adam because of the destruction or his paradise, and Lucifwr because all his good intentions exploded in his face.
This is a common thing in movies and shows - a villain and a hero are kinda similar to each other. For example have similar backstory, but symbolize two sides of a coin. Maybe if Lucifer didn't listen to Charlie and became more depressed and more hateful towards sinners he would end up like Adam.
I love how Sera saw herself and Lucifer in Sir Pentious & Emily. Also how Emily & Lucifer are both the “Angel of joy” which is the reason why she saw Lucifer in Emily instead of herself even if both look alike is awesome
Sera: Greetings daughter of the morning star, my name Sera you're gifted to be here. Emily: I am em I so I em em I so em me Emily I'm so em you what what whatever welcome heaven .Saint Peter: Dearly beloved it is my pleasure to say unto thee . Welcome to heaven oh-oh.....
Out of all your original Hazbin songs, this is by far my favorite. I do want Sera to realize the error of her ways with Sir Pentious’s redemption, even though that probably won’t happen.
If Sera did all of what she did out of pressure like as she stated to Adam then she could have a redemption arc soon as the way she talks to Adam and Emily it sounds like there is something or someone overlooking her and sounds like she is overburdened with guilt and stress
I wouldn’t say S2 but maybe down the line, she could be open to redemption or some change but outright redemption wouldn’t be that fast as it seems like she has something that inhibits her from the status she is in, but I do see some possibility
@@Eastcoasttrainvids-u7g In season two I don't know... In this AU she will change her mind during the rewrite song "Happy day in hell"... Sera is a complex character but I don't think that extermination were all Adam's fault.
@@maratessari2974 We know it was Adam's ideas, in the show, she said as much. But, Adam may have preyed on some concern she had or even created them in the first place, like : "Lilith is a spiteful woman, she will try to get revenge on Heaven somehow" or something (whether he was partly saying the truth is another matter) She consented to let Adam do it, hence why she is to bear part of the blame, but it was due to feeling that Hell put a threat to the souls under her protection, the souls of Heaven. This is unfortunately something that also happen in history a lot. That under suspicion that a group pose a threat to those you love or those you have to protect, you try to get rid of this group. Sera was just in a position where she was "lucky" that she herself didn't have to do more than say a simple "ok" and let someone else get his hands dirty (someone very willing whose idea it was in the first place, mind you).
I think this might happen in season 2. Sera might have a song about heaven going through a massive change and maybe questioning her status as a seraphim.

Everyone, Sera NEVER said that SHE will banish Emily if she keeps to oppose the rules. Lucifer was banished by the Elder angels. Maybe after his fall, the Elders became more strict and are willing to banish every angel just for opposing them.
I love this song, Also I like how it goes in the past with Sara and Lucifer, also how Vaggie and lute were friends before she was a fallen Angel, love this song I could listen to it all day long!
It was wholesome and sad in the beginning when Emily started to remember when her and Lucifer were close. I hope in the show we can see something similar to this and then sees and can learn from her mistakes. Also your voice for sera sounds heavenly.
Hey, just a follow-up to our last conversation. Lucifer was an archangel and archangels are the oldest and most powerful Seraphim and sera is not part of them and lucifer was which means lucifer is older than Sera.
I love that this reflects what Sera is, she isn't some type of bad seraphim who wants to make bad to sinners and to make all tha ngels that doesn't thin like her down, she's just a seraphim that cares about her people and that wants the best for them being afraid of what could happen
I love this 🥰 I honestly want to give Sera a chance of seeing her redeemed in the show before giving my final thoughts on her since I only seen her in one episode for season one so it feels hard to make final decisions on her character right now so I want to see what’s gonna happen in the future 😁
I dont know why but I love the parallel of Pen and Lucifer. It the serpant astetic. Lucifer is the snake of temptstion and free will And Pen is a snake but he is sefless as he gave his life for those he cared for. He a serpant in biblical text is a decendent of evil and must crawl on a belly as a sin is the most sefless. And you captured it so well in this song wonderful work. I remember a quote but I can not remember from where. "There will always be a serpant coiled arroind Heaven's gates." And I think that summs up Sara's feelings pretty well.
I already loved this song, but this new animatic added to it...Wow...Just wow. It makes the song impact SO MUCH more! I can only hope Sera realizes what she's done in the show like she has here...
1:05 Just to clarify, these are not Elders. The Elder angels are seen in the prologue and in "More than anything". The Elders probably are Archangels or the Seven (now six if Lucifer was one of them) heavenly virtues. In the show, Sera seems to be afraid that they will banish Emily if she keeps to oppose the rules.
hmmm...considering how the sins are, im betting they are mostly arrogant self intiltled save for a few(like how mammon is the only bad sin) and banish emily and maybe even molly and sera if they harshen up
@@TyronBezzina Yeah. While in the show this won't happen, I think that this would be interesting concept. There could be even pulled some crazy plot twist that the Elders (or at least some of them) are the real masterminds behind the exterminations, which turns out to be a form of revenge on Lucifer and Lilith for ruining their "perfect" vision of world.
@@TyronBezzina And I agree. The Elder angels are probably the archangels (Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Jophiel and Zadkiel.). Since the sins are showed in more positive light, the Elder angels could be showed in more negative. Michael - he's the leader and the one who banished Lucifer. He would be a prideful toxic perfectionist who believes that anyone who doesn't fit into his norm deserves hell. Uriel - the archangel that fights with demons and wields a flaming sword. He/she would be a sadistic psychopath, who finds a joy in killing sinners. Jophiel - the archangel of beauty and art. He would be a very self-centered narcissist who most of the time talks about his beautiful and handsome face and believes that he's the greatest angel that exists. Gabriel and/or Rapahel and/or Zadkiel probably would be the only good one/s.
I just love this song! ❤😊 Seriously, your voice is amazing, and you sound just like Sera (both in this song and the Hazbin Hotel ver. of "Hell's Coming with Me", which was also beautiful). I really hope we get a similar solo song for Sera, and see how she develop as a character.
First of all, love that this song now has an animatic to go with it. Great work on it and the song itself! This version of Sera is very much an Alternate Universe version of the Sera we see in "Happy Day in Hell (Lute & Sera Version)", "I'd Fall Again", and "Angel of Wrath" (either that or Lute convinces this Sera to change her mind in their duet in their cover). I imagine if these two versions of Sera were to meet, this one would be absolutely horrified by her counterpart's actions in throwing Emily out of Heaven and promoting Lute to be the Exorcist Leader.
Ooooooo I would So love to see a sera Redemption Arc. It truly felt like she thought she was doing the right thing, then seeing Sir Pentious completely shatters the mold.
I love how you make these more like videos and not just a (most of the time) still picture with music. It's great art and in my opinion it makes the music even more enjoyable.
Honestly, I loved this. And, I don't know, but I want an animatic where it focuses back on Adam and tells how things happened from his point of view. I mean, almost everyone in the serie: the demons, the sinners, Sera, Lucifer... they humanize them, give them their backstory, their justifications for why they do what they do. But what about Adam? Doesn't he deserve redemption too? Or is he just Lilith's bad ex? I mean, one time, I saw a drawing where Adam was singing Drift Away to Charlie. And, really, just the fact that the song starts with "Here in the garden.... " fits him like so well, it fits perfect. And, I don't know, it's interesting to see beyond Adam: that the personality we saw from him in the serie is nothing more than a CONSEQUENCE (NOT THE CAUSE) of everything that happened in Eden and onward. And Charlie realizes that the book she told at the beginning is nothing more than a fabrication in which her parents threw flowers and painted themselves as the victims. Because, of course, why would they tell their precious little girl that if they ended up in hell, it's for a reason? They had to change the story to suit themselves. Well, this is what I think. I can't see Lucifer as someone who is completely innocent. I mean, Adam's two wives left him for the same man and he has the nerve to brag about it. Also, in various interpretations of the Bible, it is said that Eve suffered because of the apple. I think I read that her punishment was to suffer pain during childbirth or menstruation, I don't know. And that Lucifer has dared to make fun by mentioning Eve, without knowing if she repented, what happened to her, how the consequences of biting the apple affected her and that THANKS TO HIM she was kicked out of paradise (and even more so if We take Adam's gestures into account. When Lucifer mentioned Lilith, it didn't seem to affect him much, but when he mentioned his second wife, his anger against him was clearly visible. Maybe, I dare say, because Adam witnessed the repentance and how the consequences that led to Eve's banishment from Eden affected her) And well, I don't know. The way Adam's final words were, clinging to his title of being the first man, his face with dark circles, the smile as if of relief... Personally, I see that there is more than an egocentric guy and that the only way he got angry with Lucifer was something more than just a broken ego. What's more, he came to think that Adam was going through a kind of depression. Not like Lucifer, a more hidden one. I mean, why did he always wear a mask, even when eating/drinking? And it wasn't until that mask broke that his mask (both literally and figuratively) fell apart But, hey, I don't know, I'm just theorizing. I think there was potential in Adam's character and it was horribly wasted. I just want my boy to have his backstory, his redemption arc too...
I get your point, and I agree on the fact that maybe it would have been interesting to see more about Adam's past (though, nothing say we won't learn more about him after his second death. Eve have yet to appear and I am on the Eve is Roo or at least possessed by Roo theory train) But, I also like the fact that Lucifer, especially, likely genuinely told his story to Charlie. Lilith, we will see how she really is to make a decision. Plus, this version of Lucifer is the incarnation of "the road to hell is paved with good intentions". Free will was a gift, it was a wonderful idea in his opinion. It came from a good intention. And it went horribly wrong. And, if we want to consider that even just a part of his life was like it was in the bible, the guy has even more reason for depression and to hate Lucifer mentionning giving the apple to Eve.
@@orianefaton1885 I agree this version he is more of the "good intentions" road, and that he himself was horrified what happened to humanity with their free will. Of course, that doesn't mean he isn't responsible for it. Or that his punishment isn't undeserved. It's my major issue with Charlie's sense of redemption. It's simply feeling bad you were punished and wanting to be better. No repentance for those you harmed, no desire to receive forgiveness. Just say you're sorry and that's it. UH that is the shallowest view of redemption possible. Look at the difference between the search for redemption here and RDR2. And honestly Adam's rage against him is warranted. Not only did he lose paradise, but all his children 100% were doomed to suffering because of Lucifer's actions. You can feel bad for your actions, but your victims still lived with the consequences of your actions. Why I never took the demon's side in this series. In the end they did horrible things in life, and because they are now being justly punished, now NOW they want to be better. Not when they killed, raped, pillage etc on Earth.
@@orianefaton1885 "Though, nothing say we won't learn more about him after his second death" Yes, that's my problem. I want Adam to come back as a sinner so that he can at least tell us his story, show us his perspective on how things happened. What's behind that hatred and why so intent on extermination? And not reduce it all to how much of a son of a bitch, sadistic he is and his only motive is entertainment. Because, honestly, I don't really like the idea that Adam not only doesn't come back but that his story is told through flashbacks of other characters. And, as much as I have her as one of my favorite characters, I don't really like the idea that Adam's backstory is going to be a... PD/Rose Quartz 2.0
@@orianefaton1885 “,... this version of Lucifer is the incarnation of "the road to hell is paved with good intentions".” And that's another one of my problems. If I'm honest, I like to believe that the whole Eden shit.... everyone has their share of blame. Nobody's innocent. I mean, I prefer that to Adam (or Eve, maybe) being the scapegoat and being blamed for all the evils. And in the opening story, well... they show you that Lucifer was never evil: he was just a dreamer whose ideas betrayed him and everything went to shit. And, let's see, for someone who has the title of "the king of hell, the king of the ring of pride", don't you think it would make a little sense that his mistakes should be related to his sin? (and more if we take into account that, being the king of a hellish ring, his sin is not just any other sin: it's a DEADLY sin) And then, we have Lilith, who, despite not knowing anything about her, in the story told by Charlie her only crime was not wanting to be subdued (something that makes no sense, because she has been created from the same dust/clay as Adam. So... why would he be the evil one to subdue her? The logical thing is that they would be equals. And their quarrel would be nothing more than... a clash of pride, perhaps. Or their quarrel was something typical of children: they were created having already an adult form, and they were only children in the body of adults). Ah, I don't know... In the case of Lucifer I don't see him as so innocent BUT in the case of Lilith I give her the benefit of the doubt. Still, I don't know, I don't believe the story of Adam trying to subdue her. And I'm more in favor of Lilith and Adam being the same in temperament, their pride clashed and from there they separated. On the other hand, I see Eve as a tragic character. Like Adam. Lucifer and his ideas made her bite the apple. And what did she get? Exile from Eden. She went from a place where she couldn't get sick, die of hunger or hypothermia... to then having to survive by killing the animals that were like her friends in paradise. And if we take into account that in several interpretations of the Bible Eve had to suffer the consequences of biting the apple, punishing her with labor pains or menstruation. Also, I don’t know if I should add that in the story Charlie tells, Eve is portrayed as a potential villain with a dodgy smile… Oh, I don’t know, I feel more empathy for Eve than Lilith. Imagine what Adam and Eve went through once they were banished from Eden… If Eve is going to be a villain, I wouldn’t be surprised, honestly. It would hurt me, but I would feel sorry for how the father and mother of humanity are portrayed in the story where the kings of hell are painted as victims. Sometimes I think that the song “Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman” or “Barbara 2.0 from the musical Beetlejuice” would fit the story of Adam and Eve.
IM SO GLAD THAT SERA AND EMILY WERE SO NICE TO SIR PENTIOUS!! Watching your other video,'The Angel of Wrath' and considering Lute's behaviour towards Sir Pentious, just broke my heart. (Sir Pentious is my fav ❤)
While I still have doubts, I do hope that they go down this route with Sera accepting redemption more than her simply siding with Lute with her plans to continue the extermination. Although, I also hope that she sort of has not choice but to accept it since the idea of sinners ascending like Sir Pentious not only has been proven but also the fact that it can happen at any time regardless of Charlie's hotel or not.
I have my own opinions on where I want season 2 to go (who doesn't). But at the very least, the Exterminations won't continue. This show focus's on redemption and what that means, not action. That being said, one question that may come up is about repentance. Lots of us repay wrongdoings not because we're sorry, but because we get out asses kicked if we don't. That's a plot-line Sera may be leading in the future.
All these AU for Hazbin Hotel is so cool! This is so pretty and love it! I can see the passion in these remakes/own AU. It’s so creative and such a cool way to explore more of what if Sera can see through the sinners to all the possibilities instead of just them uprising. It’s just a cool idea of what if sort of things, And love your work so much! (I don’t think this make sense)

But In Fact hell will have two fallen angels and one former exorcist trained with Carmilla's techniques so yeah they would be doomed
@leebulger7112 very true. Although it might be possible. I agree with you though. Just defending Sera from seeming like the bad guy🤷🏽♀️

I love this so much!!! Sera is actually such an interesting character, with who you could do so much. But I'm afraid that it's likely were not going to get such a deep look into her past because of the limited episodes, but for that we have MilkyyMelodies ~
Wouldn’t lose hope yet. They already got season 3 and 4 greenlit, and who knows if there may be more after.

@@Mara_Jade-Skywalker True. I can see that but why is it that when Eve took the Apple Lucifer was still an Angel?
@@leatonjenkins6810 Lucifer was cast out for giving Eve the apple (and defying the will of god.) Not for running off with Lilith.
@@Mara_Jade-Skywalker But that doesn’t explain Lilith since she didn’t eat the apple right?

She probably helped him in some way, since they were lovers
Yeah. There's plenty of show left. I believe Sera will get better. People need to give her a chance.
@@akilelawless8460
She definitely isn’t an outright ‘evil’ characters.
Just loves the way Charlie try to convince the heaven the same way as Lucifer..They both tried so hard

What I find interesting is that technically Adam and Lucifer agree that sinners are horrible. Both are disillusioned, Adam because of the destruction or his paradise, and Lucifwr because all his good intentions exploded in his face.
Underrated comment here
This is a common thing in movies and shows - a villain and a hero are kinda similar to each other.

Very likely in season two
@@ocboy5163yeah totally agree ❤❤❤
I wouldn’t say S2 but maybe down the line, she could be open to redemption or some change but outright redemption wouldn’t be that fast as it seems like she has something that inhibits her from the status she is in, but I do see some possibility
@@Eastcoasttrainvids-u7g In season two I don't know... In this AU she will change her mind during the rewrite song "Happy day in hell"... Sera is a complex character but I don't think that extermination were all Adam's fault.
@@maratessari2974 We know it was Adam's ideas, in the show, she said as much. But, Adam may have preyed on some concern she had or even created them in the first place, like : "Lilith is a spiteful woman, she will try to get revenge on Heaven somehow" or something (whether he was partly saying the truth is another matter)
She consented to let Adam do it, hence why she is to bear part of the blame, but it was due to feeling that Hell put a threat to the souls under her protection, the souls of Heaven.

Everyone, Sera NEVER said that SHE will banish Emily if she keeps to oppose the rules. Lucifer was banished by the Elder angels. Maybe after his fall, the Elders became more strict and are willing to banish every angel just for opposing them.

I dont know why but I love the parallel of Pen and Lucifer. It the serpant astetic. Lucifer is the snake of temptstion and free will
And Pen is a snake but he is sefless as he gave his life for those he cared for.
Love your songs
I already loved this song, but this new animatic added to it...Wow...Just wow. It makes the song impact SO MUCH more! I can only hope Sera realizes what she's done in the show like she has here...
I love this. I feel like this is really in line with how she would feel after receiving such a thorough sign that she was wrong
The smile Lucifer gave Sera. My heart😭😭😭
I absolutely love this song and the emotion in her voice in the song❤️❤️❤️
I just love this song! ❤😊
Seriously, your voice is amazing, and you sound just like Sera (both in this song and the Hazbin Hotel ver. of "Hell's Coming with Me", which was also beautiful).

I love this song I love your hazbin hotel songs
SO GOOD❤❤❤❤❤
Honestly, I loved this.
Maybe, I dare say, because Adam witnessed the repentance and how the consequences that led to Eve's banishment from Eden affected her)
And well, I don't know.
And it wasn't until that mask broke that his mask (both literally and figuratively) fell apart
But, hey, I don't know, I'm just theorizing. I think there was potential in Adam's character and it was horribly wasted. I just want my boy to have his backstory, his redemption arc too...
I get your point, and I agree on the fact that maybe it would have been interesting to see more about Adam's past (though, nothing say we won't learn more about him after his second death. Eve have yet to appear and I am on the Eve is Roo or at least possessed by Roo theory train)
But, I also like the fact that Lucifer, especially, likely genuinely told his story to Charlie.
@@orianefaton1885 "Though, nothing say we won't learn more about him after his second death"
Yes, that's my problem.
@@orianefaton1885 “,... this version of Lucifer is the incarnation of "the road to hell is paved with good intentions".”
And that's another one of my problems. (and more if we take into account that, being the king of a hellish ring, his sin is not just any other sin: it's a DEADLY sin)
And then, we have Lilith, who, despite not knowing anything about her, in the story told by Charlie her only crime was not wanting to be subdued (something that makes no sense, because she has been created from the same dust/clay as Adam. So... why would he be the evil one to subdue her?
Also, I don’t know if I should add that in the story Charlie tells, Eve is portrayed as a potential villain with a dodgy smile…
Oh, I don’t know, I feel more empathy for Eve than Lilith.
Ah, fuck, I exaggerated. I didn't want my comment to be so looooong😩

So moving, I am literally crying right now. Good job❤
