    On my, Bailey is the cutest celebrity ever lol. I haven’t seen this vacuum here yet, but it can take forever for us to get new products. I just love it. I have been using Shark vacuums and steamers for many years and they have always come through for me. Great demo as usual. Thanks and keep’em coming

    After watching your review, I was impressed & just placed an order on Walmart's site. My order was just for the one battery pack, since it is cheaper, honestly after 30 minutes of vacuuming, I don't want to continue even with another fully charged battery on hand. Defo thumbs up.

    thanks, I have sent your review to friends, I have had this vacuum for a year now with just one battery and I can easily clean most of my 5 bedroom home on one battery. I love this thing, lightweight, cordless. I have to dump the canister frequently, but that just means it is doing the job of my big shark!

  • @ChristysCookingLifestyle

    I have the Dyson one that's similar. I love it, the battery doesn't last long but for the convenience of quick clean ups it's perfect. For those that don't want to fork out that much money up front, QVC has it and it's on 6 Easy Pay. Comes with accessories too. Plus they can return it if they don't like it. I love QVC😂Thanks for the review😃

    • @MrMega200
      @MrMega200 6 лет назад +1

      I hate QVC. I bought new bed sheets and when they came they were stained, defective stitching, and rough! I did return form as requested and put in the package and the warehouse employees ignored that! Meaning I didn't get full refund like I should of and wasted my time calling in order to get the full refund that I deserved. QVC needs an online return form, it isn't the 19th century anymore.

    We just recently bought the Shark DuoClean Powered Lift-Away Bagless Upright vacuum and we love it. We have high pile carpet in our new house and our Dyson DC14 Animal was too hard to push. The Shark has carpet height adjustment and it glides easily. I'm not a fan of battery powered vacuums because it takes me more than 30 minutes to finish vacuuming. What I also didn't like about the cordless type is where the motor is...I'm short so the air blows back into my face! lol

      M. Corège It's about the same price as a Dyson V6 but has a less powerful motor and is also heavier than the V6. Not great.

  • @toysoldier46552
    @toysoldier46552 6 лет назад +1

    Our older Shark does the same but is corded and stands upright completely lol. On a side note, price does make a huge difference, non powered wasn't really a fair comparison, at that rate you should have grabbed a broom and dust pan.

  • @crowgrl13
    @crowgrl13 7 лет назад +8

    You mentioned that anyone with pets knows about the hair sticking to the brush. I have no pets, but I have waist length hair. With as much that gets stuck to the vacuum brush, you'd think I'd be bald by now! Someone needs to invent some kind of vacuum where that doesn't happen!

    • @Tsch6373
      @Tsch6373 7 лет назад

      Crowgrl Temprano Dyson has a Tangle-Free attachment that works well with corded vacuums with strong suction. I added a couple of adapters and I'm using it with my Miele canister & upright vacuums - works great and there is no wrap around of hair; either pet or human!

    • @crowgrl13

    • @jilldaviau

      Crowgrl Temprano I also have waist-length hair, and I haven't met a vacuum I can't break. Eventually 36" strands of hair wrapping around the spinner roll breaks it. I wish there was a vacuum that would chop up stuff before it picked it up.

    • @dtz1000
      @dtz1000 7 лет назад

      lwray0311 If you're going to go cordless then get the Dyson V7 or even better, the V8. Much better suction than this shark due to the impressive patented motor on the Dyson. Also the Dyson V8 has a HEPA filter which no shark cordless has. I don't see the point of sucking up allergens from a carpet and then spewing them back out into the air. So Dyson is much better.

    You may have figured this out by now, but for anyone else that's curious... it's way easier to use the release buttons on the top of the main motor attachment then go along the indented line with scissors to cut away the hair that's stuck in the roller. From there it easily pulls out. It's a nice design that makes maintenance so much easier.

A vacuum with a sealed system and hepa filtration a d powerful suction sucks up all the dirt and dust and traps it all in the canister until you have to empty it

    I love Shark vacuums. After buying my first "Professional" model, I recently bought the "Duo Clean Powered Lift Away" when QVC had them on sale. The IonFlex looks interesting but I'd only buy one after the run time & charge times improve. As far as picking up larger objects, I don't consider that a big deal. The manual says "Do not vacuum large objects." "Large" is subjective. I wouldn't vacuum larger particles anyway.

    • @Freakinreviews
      @Freakinreviews  7 лет назад

      Agreed. The infomercial examples using piles of large objects seem to be for the wow factor, even though most people probably wouldn't use a vac that way. It does seem that the gap between charge time vs run time could be improved.

      karen ex I hate the say it but the Dyson cordless ones really are the best, and the ones I use most, but make sure you buy one on sale. Fantastic power and very little suction drop even when full. For me, I’m as happy with them now as when I got them. I’ve had the handheld since it came out (still works great 5 years on) and the V6 powered stick for 3 years now and use them constantly. Sure the battery life sucks (maybe 15 mins) and the canister is small but they are so much convenient and just as powerful that it doesn’t matter. As for corded, I just stick with my old (15+ years) bag Hoover since I have no problem replacing bags and the canisters are a pain to empty when they’re larger. There’s a reason most industrial companies still use bag vacuums for carpet. I’m a firm believer in right tool for the right job and I think the failure of a lot of these vacuums is trying to be things they’re not which always leads to disappointment.

    One pass but look underneath! You will have to get out the scissors to cut the hair out of the spinning rod. And don't do near fridge on carpet. It's a good thing but it will suck it up and good luck getting it out. It sucked up my phone charger (my mistake not seeing it) it took me an hour to get it out without cutting it. Like the vacuum but the test needs to include checking the mess on bottom. (I'm shutting it off so he could talk about it later.)

    Can you use extended run or max power with the accessories? Or does it have to be one or the other?

    I'm assuming this is the IF201 hence the single battery. So besides the color then the IF251 only difference is the extra battery?

    No option for AC power is a killer. I'm tired of dealing with battery issues.
    However, I've been pleased with every Shark product I've owned.

    I have the Dyson V8 and personally I think it’s probably better than the shark definitely more durable but I bought a shark anyway just to try it out

    I will always trust a 120v 12amp bag vacuum over those seen on TV deals battery powered bagless vacuums.

    I know it probably stands no chance but would be interesting to see against Dyson V8.

      TheTCOLL The tests have been done by another person on RUclips. The shark duoclean cordless lost against the Dyson V8. It wasn't even close. It is no surprise as the Dyson V8 has a much more powerful motor in it. So no surprise that the Dyson V8 comes out on top.

    Our dog doesn't like our vacuum cleaner either; in fact, Cali has been known to poop on our Roomba! ;(
    The Shark IonFlex sounds a bit like some of the Dyson vacuums (their Motorhead line, not the ones that are ball-shaped at the bottom). I wonder how they compare?

      Sound-wise, I'm not sure (yet) but my dog still barks at this one as much as my regular vacuum!

    I love Shark vacuums. They work well but I prefer one with a cord.
