The fact that you remembered the chimes in the door make me so god damn happy.
I always imagined they chimes more as banging metal plates sounding like "CLANG CLING CLANG" more than the nice chime here. But it is a good touch of detail.

Speaking of things people always forget... Jester has a shield. NO ONE EVER DRAWS THE SHIELD (which is fair when not animating scenes involving combat or the aftermath). Granted, knowing Jester, its probably made to look like an apple pie or something, but she DOES have a shield!
...So what does Jester's shield look like, do you guys think?
I like the pronounced canines in Esseks's teeth...it's a small thing, but I've always attributed that to the drow elves.
More relevant...you've designed Essek so realistically. It's a detailed style that's difficult to animate, but you nailed the expression....his "proper" demeanor.
I'd say Essek is the "Alura" of this campaign.

Really, Allura is the Allura of this campaign but in terms of role yes Essek is the powerful wizard they make friends with, the one kid at school who has a driver's license and is roped into teleporting them around

Also.... to the best of my knowledge, Allura did not instigate a war between two powerful nations so she could learn some magic stuff.

I gotta say I love your attention to the smaller details!! The way his little earrings look and wiggle as he moves his head, the small little lattus work on the light fixtures! To even the cute little freckles on Jesters face and the subtle changes in Esseks expressions, This is so well done!

@@amalofoto I drew the individual frames with Paint tool sai and put them together with Pencil 2d. It's an alright app, I suppose, works good enough for being free!

Every so often I come back just to watch this, because I adore your art style and the little motions and quirks you put into this animation, and just now I noticed at 0:13 that you even animated the nervous little _“tsk”_ tongue click that Essek does. Like. Look at his mouth. You drew the pink of his tongue when he does it. You did NOT have to go off as hard as you did on this but WOW I am so happy you did! 🥺💜💜💜💜
