We dismantle nav to program new sd card or change maps from us to europien version. Any other sd card from another Leaf will not work so don't waist your money... Card has to be programed to navigation serial number
Is there an easy and cheap way to update the nav from US to European? I hoped I could just buy a unit from any salvage yard... And is it possible to find a sharkfin-type antenna that will work instead of the huge US-type "club"? 😇
@@snellas23 Thanks for your video, but are the maps not just on that SD card? Bought recently a japanese Leaf and I have to change the maps to european version too.

hi, I need the serial number as our car came without an sd card is the serial number on the label visible on the top of the unit? thanks

When replacing the screen, do you have to do any extra coding or can you just plug in the new one and it’s good to go.
This is an "S" model, right? Presumably the goal of the exercise is to upgrade the OEM radio with nice carplay/android radio, etc.?
That is not an "S" model head unit. That's either SV or SL. (I own a 2013 S and a 2013 SV - this video looks like the SV unit).

Hi Guys, The screen on mine keeps opening and closing when the Car is in Off mode ..... Any ideas as why it's doing it ?
Why did you dismantle it? I need to remove it as I have a cd stuck and the front will not open or close. Any tips? thanks
