Incorrect. The read wire needs to be connected to the reverse bulb. Not the rear tail lights.

Excellent video. The only one that I found that says that we don't need to connect to the tail light cable if there is a canbus present. Finally, It made my reverse camera works perfectly. Thank you.

I connected everything as per the video, except that I did not connect the red "power" wire to the tail lights, but to the "back up" lights instead. I did that, because the "back up" lights only get power when the car is put into "reverse." Since I only want my rear view camera to work when my car is in "reverse," I thought that this is the logical way to do it. Well, why am I getting a "No Video Signal" message on a black screen then? Any advice?
