OMG I felt so bad for that Casio F91w at 03:37 in this video .. I am so pleased you managed to get all the scrathes removed from this watch. I will be sure to use this product if any of my watches get scuffed up.. Thank you so much for this video.. BTW that is a really nice vintage Seiko ... I was toying with the idea of buying a vintage Seiko digital watch .. They fetch crazy money for examples in good condition..
This has made me decide to buy a headlight cleaner for myself not just for restoring headlights but to one day use on my acrylic crystal on my watch as well. I scratched my casio WS-1500H on a door knob on day 1. now I just need to wait till I get a lot more scratches and give it a good whirl. Thank you so much.
Yes, was going to say rub the watch on the cloth instead. I learned this more than 30 years ago from a watch seller when I bought my first two Vostoks.
@@wristaction so am I sir, big fan of Seiko and Casio but boy was it painfull to watch the video, you will have to put a warning beforehand next time. 🤣🤣 Great videos nonetheless so keep them coming.
That was a simple ingenious idea. Thank you. I am now also wondering if similar products used to remove scratches on car body metal will work for removing watch Case scratches too. Have you looked into this as well.
I have used the turtle wax to buff out minor scratches on the case as well. The only thing is it will make the case shiny if it was a matte finish before. You may have noticed it on the video.
Have you ever tried using the Polywatch instead of the Turtle Wax to repair the scratches of your Casio F-91W? I purchased Polywatch in Aliexpress (before watching this video) so that I could remove the scratches in my F-91W watch, and now I am afraid it will not be so efficient as the Turtle Wax you used in this video (which basically "ressurected" you Casio F-91W).
Yes. I showed it on a Swatch and Seiko at the start of the video. Light scratches come out easily and deeper scratches take more time. It took about an hour to get rid of the deeper scratches.
Impressive, I feel bad after seeing the use of sand paper on the Seiko. What about using this on mineral crystals, both watches have a plastic and hardlex crystals which is similar to the mateiral used on headlights but I have an Orient Ray II with a single scratch that I would like to get rid, do you think it worked as well as in the video.
Honest answer is I don't know. The turtle wax headlight cleaner restores and protects faded headlights, which are basically made of the same material as the resin crystal on watches so it works none the less.
@luxurylibrian You might even try some gem polishing grit. It sounds weird, but many gems are as hard as glass or harder. If it's a normal piece of glass, you'd need something that could polish something with a hardness of 6 on the Moh's scale. If it's something like sapphire glass, then you'd need diamond grit since corundum is a 9 on the Moh's scale, and diamonds are a 10.
With all do respect, I don't want to be rude, does it really work or you switch the scratched one with new one without scratched??? Because, it didn't work for me, no matter how many times I applied and wiped it with cloth or against the cloth!!! Even the scratches were not deep just very very tiny hair lines!!! As I said on the beginning, I don't want to rude or questioning your honesty, because I seen so many videos and none worked! Now, honestly does it work or just to have numbers of viewers to make nickel and dime???
Wow!!! 😮
I am speechless.
That's a life (and money) saver advice.
Thank you so much !!!

Glad I could help
Did it removed the scratch
Woah, I'm quite impressed with the f91w
Wow, every credit to you for butchering your watches. I never would have believed it would work so well. Brilliant.
You are really TRUE youtuber! It's very helpful. Thank you!!
A very brave man indeed!
Great tip I have a Casio W-218H with a few light scratches on it so Ill be giving this a go and unlike Polywatch a bottle should last for years.
I understand that Polywatch is a good product, but you do get so little of it. The headlamp polish should sort out your scratches.
You are a God tier person!!!
Lots of love and blessings coming your way
Appreciate you for watching. Glad it helped!
This idea was amazing. I had a deep scratch and it removed it with no issues.
Perfect. I'm glad that it worked out for you.
Gives me hope for my second hand casio dbc32. Looks like the prior owner ran alongside something quite abrasive.
Yes, was going to say rub the watch on the cloth instead. I learned this more than 30 years ago from a watch seller when I bought my first two Vostoks.
I figured it out in the end!
Bloody hell fella...are you nuts!!! I can't watch any more of this torture especially the vintage Seiko vandalism!!!@ 🧐
It was sacrificed for a good cause, but I'm glad I was able to revive it again.

@@RSHémodialyse Turtle Wax car headlight cleaner and sealent.
Great results! Is there any difference from removing scratches from the crystal compared to the resin case? Does it work just as well?
It will remove scratches from the case as well but you will end up with a shiny finish. I would personally just stick to the crystal.
Awesome result!👍🏻

I have not tried Polywatch, but I have seen good reviews about it.
Great Informative video Man👍
Thanks for the video! Does it work on plastic surfaces too? Or is it only for glass ?
@@dazidovliliana only plastic. Not glass.
@@wristaction thank you
Got turtle wax for £5.60 today. It did a good job on my scratched Casio W-86 which was all hazed up. Thanks for this tip😁
Can i use it for casio MQ24?
Yes. I showed it on a Swatch and Seiko at the start of the video. Light scratches come out easily and deeper scratches take more time. It took about an hour to get rid of the deeper scratches.
Thanks for sharing, but please don't hurt the Casio any more 😀
😂👌
Buying some now,cheers
Great tip. Thanks 👍
will this work on my casio ae1200?
It will work on all acrylic crystals. You might have to work on it for longer if the bezel is higher than the crystal.

No it will only work on acrylic (plastic) crystals. Don't worry about the Seiko, the sandpaper scratches on the demo were fairly easy to remove.
What are you really applying at the casio f 91 2
*No watches were seriously injured in the making of this video.1
The Turtle Wax headlight cleaner in your opinion is it the same compound as Polywatch?
Honest answer is I don't know. The turtle wax headlight cleaner restores and protects faded headlights, which are basically made of the same material as the resin crystal on watches so it works none the less.
@wristaction Thanks. Perhaps a comparison vid sometime? 🤔

@@aayushijain1477No
Would this work on a smart watch? Iwatch 8 to be exact? thanks for the video :)
I wouldn’t do this on a smart watch. The screens are made of glass and have touch sensors.
You are a king. Thank you!
👍glad to help Alex
Will this method work on the glass of analogue watches? Not plastic surface… glass surface
No, only plastic acrylic surfaces.
@@wristaction Any fix for glass surfaces? Like minor scratches
@@luxurylibrian you could try the glass version of polywatch. Check out some reviews before ordering: amzn.to/44NZURe

You're welcome.
But how fix glossy rubber?
Unbelievable!!!
It's true!
It is toothpaste?
Thanks
"Thanks for watching" haha get it.. watching...
1:29 GAHHHHHH!!!!
1 question: Is it still shining or is it a temporary effect?
the crystal still looks shiny after the polish when compared to a brand new and unscratched F-91W.
AWESOME!
My wife does the same so I gave her a G-shock Dw-5600😂😂😂
David Copperfield tricks applied here. 😂😅
No tricks here.
