The core of the problem with this version of Harry was that he should have been in a separate movie rather than squeezed in beside Electro and Rhino. I feel like the movie could have been really amazing (badum-tss) if it had stayed focused on Max and had him be the one that actually throws Gwen as one last attempt to get at Peter before dying instead of Harry.

Dehaan-Harry, on the other hand, is thrown into the second movie with barely any set-up like an afterthought, distracts from the much better-developed character who should have stayed the main villain all the way to the end and finds out Peter's secret way too easily with way too little information. Dane Dehaan was absolutely brilliant in the role, but the writing part of the character really left much to be desired.

Just came out this morning of an almost 24H marathon of all the Spiderman movies and still I’m watching this Nothing can make me get tired of spiderman
ASM2 is another one of those movies that I will never understand the hate for. Sure it wasn't perfect and Harry's Goblin was extremely rushed, but Electro was fantastic, the score and the integration of it into certain scenes (notably Electro's) was superb, and in that film Garfield's Spider-Man was the best live interpretation of the character on screen to date imo .
The only thing ill disagree on both Electro and Goblin were rushed, at least harry had a slow build up, for electro it was kinda just "uhh...cops shot at him"
Loved this guy as spiderman. But then again, every spiderman has their own thing they bring to the table. Toby looked the part perfectly, which went well imo with the look and feel of his movies. Andrew Def got the chaotic teenager part down, add that with the perfectly cast GF and it just works so well. Also the technology was there for the way the movie was made. Tom just works well because of the way he fits into the mcu, great actor, great cast members. He just fits in. So say what you want about every person that has portrait spiderman and probably will portrait him. As long as they work in their own way, everyone is entitled to their fav!

ASM2 is another one of those movies that I will never understand the hate for. Sure it wasn't perfect and Harry's Goblin was extremely rushed, but Electro was fantastic, the score and the integration of it into certain scenes (notably Electro's) was superb, and in that film Garfield's Spider-Man was the best live interpretation of the character on screen to date imo .

The only thing ill disagree on both Electro and Goblin were rushed, at least harry had a slow build up, for electro it was kinda just "uhh...cops shot at him"

Loved this guy as spiderman.
But then again, every spiderman has their own thing they bring to the table.
Toby looked the part perfectly, which went well imo with the look and feel of his movies.
Andrew Def got the chaotic teenager part down, add that with the perfectly cast GF and it just works so well. Also the technology was there for the way the movie was made.
Tom just works well because of the way he fits into the mcu, great actor, great cast members. He just fits in.
So say what you want about every person that has portrait spiderman and probably will portrait him. As long as they work in their own way, everyone is entitled to their fav!
