I'm in choir currently, and I can definitely see the difference!! They do have us sing taller, but I didn't know it was meant for blending specifically!! This helped tremendously!!!
I had this at one point then my voice got Evan deeper as I’ve reached almost 30. It sounds to myself like I’m really hitting those resonances but when I record it’s very dull with a little rasp. My voice is ridiculously deep now haha I can pull off the darth Vader impersonation perfectly but can’t light a room up with my vocal chords. Thanks for this anyways.
Every voice is unique. You’re Unique and you stand out in some way good or bad. I believe this is why serenading is a thing because you’re able to stand out by using an art you were born with and was able to tap into. I bet you sound great. You have your flaws but that makes it your voice. Keep singing despite what you may think because with being unique, there is always someone who finds you perfect!
hiii i heavily recommend the book "Fundamentals of Great Vocal Technique" by Michael R. Trimble, it talks about how opera singers achieve good projection

@@inspireVoyage123terrible advice do not try belting without learning how or you will need this video more then ever before. You could easily destroy your voice
I'm still a beginner, but I think putting a hand on your upper chest helps you define if you're in chest or head. If its chest, you'll feel it vibrate, if in head, you just won't feel it there. I feel you on not feeling it in the back of their head. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, idk.
What does that mean when I try to do a high note because I always do high notes but then I get like a voice crack and a feeling that I need to make my throat clear ? What do I do so I can do the high notes without the voice cracks
Don’t know if you have answered this, but it’s called a vocal break it’s when you try to hit a note that is out of your chest/head register so your voice tries to switch registers causing that voice crack sound. At least I think someone please correct me if I’m wrong
@@Tomos_J-J that's basically what a register is, same with instruments. If I go to a different register of my clarinet, I will use different parts of the clarinet

Do Crescendo... ? I think you are just using different vocal muscles/oral muscles. I don't know the actual term for it, but it's like you have these different places where your sound goes different. I believe there are 5 of those: The Throat - for dark and very deep sound The Soft Palate - for both deep and light sound. This is also where you let the air hit the soft palate inorder to create a higher tone. The Mouth ( near the hard palate ) - This is where you will feel light sounds coming out from your body. The Nose - This is where you sound nasally. Try saying "nngg" (nasal tone) then go "nnggaaaaahhh" (nasal to clear). That happens because of the lifting of the soft palate, but that's not the main topic so, next. The place between the Head and the Nape/Head - This is where you will feel Falsetto and Head Voice. Try yelling/speaking at a loud and higher tone, and you'll feel the vibrations on your Nape (back of Neck) or the Crown of your Head. Try Crescendo and Decrescendo to smoothly transit from those tones. :)
Because you are Begginer ( it's normal when you start) I don't think it;s good ( good singers have moustly consistent sound ) There are a lot of thinss that can be the cause I understand you talk about tones on scale ( not vovels)? ... From what you say , mayby you are forcing ? Probably the support is not correct ? " have there own WALL and won’t allow for a smooth transfe" - Doesn't sound good. I would advise to find a vocal coach. You can only go so far on your own. Good luck!
Sister, one vocal expert says that on the day of stage performance, no daily vocal practice should b done by the singer. How far is he correct? What's yr view?
This is so ..... ! I was okay at the beginning and then you began to talk about the unefficiency of low placement... low placement of the larynx is the base for resonance ! With a high placement you are using only half of the resonance your body can get ...! Young singers : you can have a low placement without tongue tension and without swallowing your sound !
I can sing but when I listen to my record my voice sound like crying voice and it is really annoy me and especially with earphone mics they just change my voice into the voice I not know sound really akward. How to fix this??
Actually, as annoying as it may be (it bothered me a lot) that is your voice on the recorder. To improve this, you may have to resonate your voice more. Also the reason is that your inner ear drums feel a different pressure that makes it sound different for you
Why do sometimes i forget how to sing? It takes me days or even weeks to get my voice back.. Even though i feel that i have no problems but my voice is just.. Forgetting itself

Give it time. The more you relax your throat the more it will start to vibrate naturally. Depending on your age! I didn't get my full vibrato until I was almost 20!

hello I'm from the Philippines and I'm gonna ask how can I relax my tongue, because while I'm singing my tongue was falling down and I cannot bet it everything high notes.
Tilt your head backwards. Let everything relaxed in your mouth for one minute. Everything in your mouth should be relaxed when you come back to your original position.
Try practice breathing from your diaphragm and don’t force the sound out of your throat, focus on voice control and when you feel discomfort or stiff when you sing go back down to your vocal warm ups and build up to the notes you wanna sing

Something my singing teacher told me was to breathe as little as possible and then doing a scale (Don't suffocate yourself though.) If you still find that it's still breathy try blocking your nose as sometimes you may be subconsciously breathing through your nose. Remember to keep the diaphragm engaged and I hope that helps. Do note that I have only been doing this for 3 months, so I'm still far from a qualified singer, but I do hope this can help.

That comparison between a guitar and our body is great. Strings vibrate but the body resonates.
Nuts. Resonance amplifies the sound. That's why acoustic guitars are hollow, not solid or small. He needs to read some science.
