I love Dag Erik he needs to go on tour in the United States 🇺🇸 ❤
He certainly has a good country music voice!

great choice of song,
DAG THE BEST.
can any tell me the name of his album...is it The Moon and I. ? man is superb
I like his voice his look like stray and recording artist
He went out this week same with Kristoffer
This is the only performance of his that I actually enjoyed. I'm not a fan of artists faking accents from other countries. This is the only one I've heard from him where it's most of a folk vibe.
What do you mean faking accents from other countries? We dont speak english as our first language in Norway so that means everyone singing English is «faking» then. There is no rule to what accent you learn to speak or sing in. Which accent you sing either in British English or American English can actually have to do with where he has learnt English. He may have lived in USA for that matter, in a state with an accent, studied there etc. Ina Wroldsen the female mentor has lived in UK for several years and she speak British English.
Not bad song.
Så nydeligt
Lovely singer but the slight twang he's putting into his voice shows that he's not being totally open and his real self, which sadly adds a touch of fakeness which is clearly not meant. But being vulnerable is everything (once you have no technical flaws). The twang also firms in the slight (very slight) nasal tone which would disappear without it.
This is such a constructive comment and well articulated, i couldn’t put my finger on what was slightly off.
On the other hand, the twang would be natural for someone who doesn't have English as a first language.
@@The-Vega-Islands No. Hardly anyone in Norway, or anywhere else for that matter, does it. It's much more common in English speakers. (In fact even in this video he stops doing it in the more difficult bits.)
@@greatbriton8425 That is because he has learned it from other Country singers. I am Norwegian I know how this goes it's an orthopedic learning pattern. So when he has to concentrate more on the difficult part, it goes away. He is not putting it there, that is for him the natural way to do it.
The "country twang" accent seems to be a common part of country music in general, it's just a part of the "country music sound" for most singers. A person tends to learn it when they're learning to sing country songs by listening to country songs.
