Oh wait, I re-read your comment and get it now - hard to believe he’s medically trained but yet actually thinks outside the box of surgeries & pharmaceuticals - yes!
I heard another podcast where they asked his history and he learned all this in his own healing and probably started actually helping people. He said he lost a ton of weight in the first month when his lymphatics started flowing.
@Dr Perry -- this podcast was INCREDIBLE. So much of what you said was like describing my son's health issues. Your work is life changing. Thank you so much for sharing all of your knowledge. I could listen to it, as long as you could talk about it. 😊😊😊🙏🙏🙏
Thanks a lot! I'm shortly after operation, radio therapy and chemo. I had limphedema on my right leg and now struggling with neck limphedema. With leg my daughter took me to the doctor, who prescribed a lot of meds. I didn't take any. I just did breath exercise and worked with those Six. And it works! Your podcast added some more information to my understanding. Thank you for your talk!
I have been sick for three decades and I learned how to hold my tongue up on the roof for chronic migraines. Still have head swelling but my tongue is abnormally strong. Lol. I hardly ever have my tongue down.
Really appreciate Dr. Perry's educating the public about the Fluid drainage Dynamics, i have been doing this big six lymph drainage massages, it changed my life so much, thank you for inviting Dr. Perry to the podcast, he saved my all sinus and allergies !
Thanks for this!! Just realised the power of yoga and Ayurveda....ancient disciplines. I needed to get to the bottom of this (constant pain related to constant stress) and not follow a discipline blindly. Thank you both for making this happen! God bless!
Thank you I've always preferred the stairs, and have walked all my life currently with a dear friend and my dogs. we walk two miles three to four days a week
Such a great video! So helpful. And I so appreciate when the person who is doing the interview actually gives space for the other person to share fully🙏
Yes, letting me guest speaker complete their points to their logical conclusions (when they're in full flow) really helps! Having said that; 'relavent' questions at appropriate times helps to relax the speaker, and by changing the 'pace' makes it more of an interesting 'conversation', especially when it involves defining unusual medical terminology / acronyms.
Thank you! I enjoyed listening to both of you. I have been doing the 6 pt and I noticed a difference on my body. Each time I listened to Dr. Perry about the lymphatic system I learn something new. I will definitely listen to this video again. Thank you again.
You are an angel of God come to help us, may God bless you for what you are giving us to empowering us and giving us the tools to get our bodies well again.
Thank you for such an incredibly enlightening talk. I can 💯 resonate with the whole cause and effect of the physiological neurological effects of stress/ cortisol levels on the whole system, having suffered hyperamoniamia for years. Drs couldn't tell me why I had episodes when I smelt like cat piss and felt so toxic I couldn't think straight nauseous heavy achy joints and rapid muscle loss etc. I did workout that I felt mildly better if I kept moving rather than sitting or lying down as that made worse. Exercise induced sweating was the only thing that worked to get rid of it. However it was so hard to get to the point of sweating ,& if it wasn't kept going for longer than 20 mins from the point of sweating then you stopped...Wow!!! Did it make it worse.
Since doing the big six, I have a bowel movement at least 3 times a day. I have IBS. I think this really is helping me. Who knew? I know that jumping on my trampoline each day and having a green smoothie has been very helpful to keep the attacks down. Trampolines help the lymphatic yet no doctor told me that clearing the lymph nodes would help my stomach pain. Thank you for your passion.
😂 what I find most hilarious is watching how the fact of how much water a person is consisting changes over the decades from 60% to 70% to 80% now we're at 90%!
For starters, find out what is / are the underlying 'exciting and maintaining' factor(s) that keep the body 'responding' with excess swelling on that knee. There are many possibilities, but good places to start would be to get your Gait evaluated by a decent Chiropractor or ICAK Kinesiologist, as poor Gait could be putting unnecessary Biomechanical 'stress' on that knee. Alternatively you may wish to check for possible Parasites residing in either the knee or inguinal area on the same side as the swollen knee; just a thought!
I would love to ask Dr Perry- I know what the anatomy books say but do you really think the lymph with all the garbage/waste it carries really dumps into the clean blood where the body works 24/7 to keep it clean and to maintain the proper pH balanced ? Thank you
I’m curious about my tongue position? I have always held my tongue along the roof of my mouth. As a child, the dentist called it “tongue thrusting” and, that it was undesirable! I wonder if people who already hold their tongue on the roof, have a better lymph flow?
Interesting to hear about the protein break down. At 68 I've raised my intake of good protein to help maintain muscles and my digestion is not functioning well. I do use HLC and bile with protein meals though, which helps. Hmmm.
Tongue posture? That might suck for me. I've had well over 20 major surgeries in 15 years. Although, its been 19 years since my last one, my tongue isn't the same as a normal person's. One of my surgeries consisted of removing my tongue, and placing it back on, upside-down. The (current) left side is much thicker than the right side. Born with Vascular Malformation on my tongue.
@52:00 it can defintely matter if the area you are working on is near an area that the body is used to sending a lot of electricity to on a regular basis, because if the stimulus of your rubbing crosses over into that big stream it could take over and start pulling the tissue towards it in a painful way.
Osteopathy never worked for me, made me much worse (in the UK). Including an old school classical Osteopath. I see a good chiropractor now. They dont know enough about the stress response. Any of these people. It's more complicated than the physical body. You have to work on the subtle body too.
Wish these guys would tell you how to get drainage opened. Are you supposed to massage it are you supposed to do exercise.would heat help ? what do you need to do to fix it ????
So I’d like to know about the lymphatic as a cause of issues but I’m not sure if people have low stomach all the time, it could be that many have too much and actually have silent reflux. Many of the processes in the body are acidic in nature. He’s also said people get stuck in the sympathetic and I thought that but as I’ve researched and tested I’m wondering if people actually lose autonomic tone so they lose their ability to regulate the nervous system and actually swing from one side to the other.
Whenever you are talking about "grounding" on sand, soil, grass or whatever other natural substrate you are standing barefoot on, I wish you'd add a disclaimer regarding parasites/worms. Grounding has ruined my life after getting parasites entering tiny cuts in my feet through the soil. Soil-transmitted helminthiasis has all but ended my life as I knew it.
You say the gadtrocnemus and The soleus the calve muscles are like a second heart -pumping action You also have the same setup with the hamstrings the buttocks... See the pattern
The rubbing the groin: yes I am a respiratory therapist I have a associate of applied science in fluid dynamics. I was in January in the hospital. I had just found this lymphatic drainage info. What I noticed was it would cause my blood pressure to go down. We are talking systolic 190 diastolic at 130 consistently non responsive to bp meds not only that I have steven johnson syndrome tens and so im in a 2 1/2 year allergic response to almost every med im given. And am unable to work or completely care for myself at this point. So here I am in my bed in the hospital I noticed the light on the camera goes on and I ask my nurse about it. I hear laughing from the nurses station they are laughing at me doing lymphatic massage my whole body and in my groin area because I'm thinking I have privacy. IGNORANCE! IT REALLY MADE ME ANGRY.
It also is how all our cells differentiate into specializwd cells but not all cells function the same Just like when the government put everyone into a specific job duty: who knows the whole work? No one but GOD
I love Dr Nickelson! So grateful for no pen clicking in the background!❤❤❤
*Nickelston is such an incredible gift!* _Hard to believe that he's medically trained._
I thought chiropractors complete 6 years of medical training

I have to work on consistency. I have a narrow palette and my tongue is always down. I had no idea about any of this until a few years ago.
@missroni769 does it help with migraines

Hi Dawn, how's your day going with you?
Great podcast very helpfull thank you xx
The tongue posture assist with neck posture also so assists that lymph area neck

You misheard him. He said the LYMPHATIC fluid is 90% water… not the entire body. 😉
Wonderful. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed!
Hi Ellen, how's your day going with you?

I just thought it was weird that I am always keeping my tongue on the roof of my 👄 my
Great podcast! Thank you!

Iv3 been doing the big 6 and feel so much better! Only thing is my left knee has been swollen for over a year. Any advice or areas i should focus on?

I'd wonder if foot health is affecting gait, etc. I'm in barefoot groups where people need serious exercise and retraining of barefoot health.

It's interesting how most people/integrative doctors focus ONLY on diet for autoimmune. I know as that is my experience for the last 14 years!

I know what our autonomic nervous system is but when you say "zombie apocalypse " I am clueless. LOL
He means the COVID lockdowns
He means the Pandemic lockdown.
He is talking about the brainless zombie like cult following covid created via fear.
I think he means people being on autopilot in our unhealthy ways and being like zombies
It was a fad in early 2000s, a Globalist push, like eating bugs, or CBDCs, or global warming.Just propaganda.

5:44 he said doodoo 😂
I wanna know what Perry is drinking at the 34 min mark.
Below and above my collar bone I have these fat pad looking things on either side. I do massage them but it never changes.
Interesting…
You don't mention the importance of doing the massage on bare skin, not with clothes on
Why does this matter?
why does it matter?????
Because I learnt that as the fluid is right below the skin it makes it easier for to apply the correct pressure.

23 10 Canola oil vs. animal fat, how does it compare with the amounts of long chain fatty acids i don't understand the question
Canola oil is a waste product and is carcinogenic. Never buy that. It’s a derivative waste product
And classified as a poison to humans
I would love to know if either of you have heard of Harlequin syndrome?
