press the arrow pointing down next to the rendered view. In there you can change the Color settings to Texture.

When I render my animation it all glitches and shows me something different to what I animated.

Check if you have any hidden objects. Just because you hide an object in the viewport doesn't mean it won't show up in render. Look up a tutorial on how to hide an object in a render if you must know

doing something like 3d fnf sprites wouldn't be what I would first touch blender for... I don't recommend you go into it just for that.

You drag all the images into the box on the right under white box.
Kinda hard to describe. Maybe I am also misunderstanding what you are asking. So if I am, could you br a little more specific?

Export it to blender or use a greenscreen to key out the character in your program of choice.

github.com/MaximumADHD/Rbx2Source - requires a Source Engine game. Just put in the username and done compiles it into an MDL for you
github.com/REDxEYE/SourceIO - Addon for blender to import mdl files. Then I disconnected the bones to move them instead of just rotate

Render each character separately, make sure the camera remains in the same place just two separate outputs. gamebanana.com/tools/7136 Then use this to make the spritesheets. No need for photoshop or animate.
