Would you believe me if I told you that somewhere in the mountains of Turkey, there's a small village called Kuskoy where ALL of its residents can speak a language that is entirely made up of WHISTLES? And every single word in the Turkish language can be translated into these unique sounds?
I recently visited Kuskoy and was completely blown away by how cool and unique this vernacular is! You really have to hear it to believe it.
As the locals told me, this whistle language was invented around 500 years ago by local farmers, who needed to communicate with their peers over the steep hills... Amazingly, the whistles can be heard up to 3 kilometers away!!

Amazing, and great they're trying to keep it alive, but not totally unique. There are other whistled languages such as Silbo Gomero in the Canary Islands in Spain, some Mayan languages in southern Mexico (and maybe also Guatemala and other mesoamerican countries) also have whistled versions, and Pirahã, a fascinating language in the Brazilian Amazon has a whistled and and hummed version. There may be others thst I don't know about
Whistled languages are truly incredible and hopefully they'll be able to survive technological advancements
Edit: the whistled languages usually use tones and patterns to "transcribe" sounds into their respective languages. That's why they can also use it for the English goodmorning

That whistle language sounds like that Turkish dialect they are speaking, but the consonants far more subtle. At first I thought everyone was perfect-pitch, but, now I think there are extreme parallels between the two languages - in fact, could be it is the exact same language.
    - Truly phenomenal!!
Edit: I'm pretty confident, especially after hearing the "Good morning," - but indeed, a tricky language it must be to learn, and such a beautiful concept. Love it.
