Many have forgotten his numbers coming from Denver last year. Better than 80 percent of quarterbacks in the NFL...............Let's go Steelers Nation.
Russ been to 2 SBs winning 1 woulda been 2 but that play call wasn’t on him and the DB talked bout that play seeing it on film he was jumping that pass anyway my point is Russ a SB winning caliber QB 😂🙌🏼
@@koreycain7263-here is what never gets mentioned that Seattle neglected their passing game as Wilson in his first 3 years threw 72 TDs with just 26 INTs and on THAT play, Seattle had 3 WRs on the field that all 32 teams refused to draft-Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse and Ricardo Lockette. On that play the 6-3 Lockette passively went for the perfectly thrown ball that the 5-10 DB went aggressively for
Crazy that we scored 28 points, none by the Defense and I know we left a lot on the field. We had 2 turnovers. Had the miss on the 4th down, and punted maybe 4 or 5 times. For anyone still questioning Kenny Picket being our QB, or Justin Fields, this is the difference. With Wilson, you can play with any team.
Let these facts sink in. 340 career TD passes, just 107 INTs, a PLUS 233. Only him and Aaron Rodgers are the only QBs in NFL history that at any point in their careers had 300 TD passes and less that 100 INTs-. His TD-INT ratio is 2nd all time. He has 371 total TDs in his career He is 3 TD passes from passing Fran Tarkenton for 12th all time in TD passes He is 3rd all time in TD percentage, 2nd all time in INT percentage (lowest) He is the only QB in NFL history that has thrown over 40,000 yards, over 300 TD passes, rushed for over 5000 yards, has a 100 passing rating, 64 percent completion percentage and over 350 total TDs Since 2020 when fools said he was washed up, he has thrown 113 TD passes, just 39 INTs, 10 rushing TDs and a passing rating over 103.
Russ was a fantastic pick up. That game winning throw while under intense pressure was incredible. Fields would've just run. This is why russ is qb1 On a side note mike Williams is going to take the #2 spot from Austin not only because of injury but Williams is so much more dynamic
@@bobbyraejohnson if you don't know the history of Williams; he's better than Austin. Austin has a higher ceiling at this point but currently he's just not there yet developmentally. Williams is better sorry to say. Even if it was just one play.
Nobody works harder in this league than Russ. I've watched him out here in Seattle since the day he stepped on the field. I've been saying for 2 years that he will be vindicated. Just get him into a system with a halfway decent offensive line and receivers who can run routes and catch balls (I don't care who the names were in Denver, he didn't have that with the broncos). He deserves the success he's having, and let's hope it continues.
Denvers pass catchers were always tremendously overrated with or without Wilson. It arguably cost them cap space and significant draft capital to understand that point.
Russ made the Steelers legitimate contenders.so glad they signed him.hopefully we can lock him up for 2 or 3 more years if he stays healthy throughout this season.
@@shinski8114aint it about whos the best team? Chiefs had top 5 defenses every year 😂 brady always had good defenses. The broncos had a good d panthers too look at em now

Can anyone explain Wilson's throwing technique with those finesse balls? His arc is insane, yet so precise. Is there anyone lese in the NFL that has a technique similar to his in that regard?
Nope . He’s the only person I’ve seen since I started watching in 99 that’s has that moon ball. I’m a Seahawks fan so I’ve seen his whole career and know he’s a top 3 qb when he’s rolling
There's a video NFL films did I think like 6+ years ago on the art of the deep ball and Wilson was one of the primary reasons according to those involved for the idea. I don't love the player anymore but I have always respected the moon ball. A lot of deep ball throwers throw it too hard or try to maintain too much air. He's always implied its about the arc and letting gravity do its thing. Basically you're not throwing a deep ball like you're trying to get it through a car wash without getting wet, but that you're trying to land a basket from any corner of a basketball court.
he has great touch. His hands are HUGE for only being 5 ft 10. Like his arms and hands are what 6ft 5 people have. He is able to grip the ball and roll it off his fingers with ease impacting the spin and direction of the ball again with ease. I believe he has the largest hands in the league
The defense came up big tho too they bend but don’t break reminds me of Seattle a lot !! Russ with a running game and good defense and a big play wr means wins
Best quarterback to dawn a Steelers' uniform since I have been a fan for 40 years. This team can beat you in so many ways. How many games have we seen where Bosewell did not have to kick a fg?
Yep. I trusted Russ' will to win but was worried about the o-line as people kept saying he would do worse behind it. Let's be clear, people seem to forget how many snaps Justin fumbled, he was just lucky never to lose them, but it was ridiculous. With RW the oline looks functional. So happy!
All he wanted and needed was a future hof QB, Russell Wilson. I love RW and GP's competitiveness and not giving up on plays. My Steelers got Lighting in a bottle twice with GP within a decade! ? What????! Here we go Steelers!
