You have said that the Z1s speakers are little weak when producing sounds but did you for get John V.? It's due to the waterproof protection on the Z1S. So over all the speaker quality is evenly match when that's a feature on the phone.
As others have mentioned I also don't like he's reviews. He is an apple fanboy if you've seen reviews of him. He tries to create reasons to talk nice about the iPhone. If the phone had low PPI he would crash it by saying iPhone has great PPI. If the phone has greater PPI then instead of crashing the iPhone he says things like "but it doesn't matter because it looks great on both" then he also complaints on sizes like everybody liked the iPhone size. I remember he said and iPad was better than surface pro lol I meant they are like way apart on what they are meant for hahaha I don't own Sony nor I have owned an xperia phone but I can clearly see the Z1s is way more better! The finger track is a gimmick doesn't make the iPhone better -__- is like android having unlocking by facial recognition which is a gimmick too because not everybody uses it. Again with respect to everybody but I think the Z1s wins.
Also phones from Japan have fingerprint scanner long before Apple even uses it and it can be use more than what the Iphone 5S fingerprint scanner can do

DZFRITZ It has some nice features but the overall experience is mediocre. The keyboard would hide half the time and I had to turn off the phone so It would appear again. And the phone app would crash when dialing a number.
DZFRITZ plus battery life was 5-7 hours average without using it. And very poor Wi-Fi connectivity. Plus the top edge of the phone would hurt my ear because the speaker is so quiet I had to press down hard.
DZFRITZ I know Sony probably fix and improved later devices but I can't afford to change phones more often than socks like the RUclips reviewers. I have a Moto X now and is ten thousand times better. I like it more than my wife's iPhone 5S.

I don't think you are right from picking the z1s over the 5s in terms of the camera. As you can see on the images you took on outdoor shots you can see that the images of the 5s is much more detailed. refer to the clouds on the photos. you can see the clouds and its detailed color representation and on the z1s is much more likely white atmosphere you cant see the clouds but just a color white atmosphere. I am not an apple fan boy but i think there is something wrong about your choice. Nice review though.

I honestly don't understand how the iPhone's screen is retina by any means. Even at 441ppi, I can make out pixels from 4-5 inches away

Z1s is NOT delicate though. It is one tough phone. I have dropped mine on concrete and to my surprise it didn't even have a single crack!
