Many people seem to underestimate music video/commercial directors. Heck, some of the biggest directors in the world had their starts in music videos and commercials. The Daniels, Zack Snyder, Marc Webb, David Fincher, Michael Bay, even Ridley Scott and his late brother Tony started their career doing commercials. Music videos and commercials are like the greatest film school for up and coming directors who have to create a compelling story in a very short time frame.
didnt even know about Daniels background with music videos. already big fans of them and that makes me love them even more. definitely going to check out their stuff!
Awesome video! I'm surprised you haven't seen Atlanta, it's a must watch! Especially if you like Hiro Murai! Honorable mention to Floria Sigismondi with a long and impressive career with (personal) highlights such as "The End of the World" by The Cure and "Mirrors" by Justin Timberlake!
im only watching this because i exporeted my video and want to upload it but i am too lazy to reedit a VFX i saw that could be better so im trying to get my self to redo the effect before i upload it which i really should because i spent months on the project and it will maybe take just an hour to fix the effect.
If I could have included 10 more directors, I'm sure one would have made their way into the video. Although, I'm not as familiar with the K-pop MV scene as I am with my native UK MV scenes and of course the US MV scene. I'm gonna make a video on my channel reacting to BTS videos very soon, so stay tuned for that 🔥
