A magnificent tribute to the incredible maritime heritage of Great Britain. Respect from the United States.
I liked this Ship
Closest Cutty Sark ever got to being the fastest tea clipper was being beaten by Thermopylae by a whole week. Cutty Sark was built to try and beat Thermopylae and failed miserably.
Great ship hard work to man here
Excellent
The wonderful and highspeed Tea Clipper of East India Trade Company.Thank you very much.
Seen it. She is much smaller than one would initially think her to be, but very beautiful. Better go and see her before a certain group of religious fanatics find a way to burn her down.
what kind of religion wants to burn a fast merchant sailboat???

Me too, all the way from France, on a school trip. I just had a scale model kit of it as a present for Father's day. So excited to build it!

The Prussian was faster.
Yep and it was also built over 30 years later. Read the title.

But the Preußen isn’t the first ship of the famous Flying P-liners from Hamburg. The first was built like around 1850, nineteen years before Cutty Sark. There were 83 Flying P liber.
“If it’s a fast ship…”, said Obi Wan
