Day 3 of our Walt Disney World & Disney Cruise Line December 2023 vlog series!
Today was the day the ship stopped off at Nassau. As we had purchased the Spa, we decided to use this more and not get off the ship - we also hoped it would be a lot quieter onboard as others would be getting off!
We got to see them doing some safety testing for the lifeboats whilst we were at port which was amazing to see.
We went back to the spa before deciding to go on the Aquamouse which is an attraction at sea with Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse! It was so much fun and a lot faster than we thought it would be too. We spent a little time in the adult ony section in the infinity pool and went back to Cove Cafe. As always we had another quiz and tonight was pirate night - we did not prepare so didnt have any pirate outfits on but we enjoyed it still, they had a special firework show where Captain Jack Sparrow appeared and just before the fireworks there was a dance party. The cruise director said a few other ships had been following us so they could see the fireworks too!
Our Disney dining for the night was again in 1923 Roy Disney but this time we had a pirate themed menu.
At midnight in the atruim they do the Kiss Goodnight - I hadnt through ahead and didnt know this would be a different pirate themed one but it was also nice to see how they light up the atrium!

I fully support the decision to remain on board during a port day! From what I understand of cruises, the ships are always much emptier and less noisy while everyone else is off on excursions. The Aquamouse looked to be a bit too "splashy" for my liking, but the adults only pool looked incredible! Love the infinity edge. Looks like y'all had a fun time, too. 😁 For what it's worth, and you might already know this - all GoPro's from Hero5 upwards are actually waterproof without the case! The housing is for depths below 33 feet where the pressure may cause the waterproof seal to breach. Oooooooh Pirate Night is the best night! Always a pleasure to see Captain Hook and Smee out and about. And of course, your pirate makeup is on point, as usual. 😍 Well done on the Disney Trivia! What was the quote that you attributed to Sykes? Omg, happy anniversary, you two! The atrium looks so incredible during the holidays with the big tree and all of the garlands, truly an amazing sight to end your night with...even if the pirate shanty was a bit of a repeat. 😉✨ Great video, Hannah!
